Olhei para a terra, e ela havia se transformado em total confusão, completamente vazia. Olhei para os céus, e a sua luz havia desaparecido.

Miré la tierra, y he aquí que estaba asolada y vacía; y los cielos, y no había en ellos luz.

I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
