Jeremías 51

En necio paró todo hombre con su saber. La estatua misma del ídolo es la confusión de todo artífice; porque cosa mentirosa es la obra que él ha hecho; no hay en ella espíritu de vida.

Todo hombre se ha infatuado y es sin ciencia: avergüénzase todo artífice de la escultura, porque mentira es su vaciadizo, que no tiene espíritu.

Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

“Every man has become stupid and without knowledge. Every goldsmith is disappointed by his image, for his molten images are falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
