Es lauft hie einer und da einer dem andern entgegen, und eine Botschaft begegnet hie und da der andern, dem Konige zu Babel anzusagen, daß seine Stadt gewonnen sei bis ans Ende,

Correo se encontrará con correo, mensajero se encontrará con mensajero, para noticiar al rey de Babilonia que su ciudad es tomada por todas partes:

One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end,

One runner will run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every quarter.
