55Porque Yavé destruye a Babilonia y quita de ella su gran jactancia. Las olas de ellos rugen como muchas aguas, al estruendo que sale de las voces de ellos.

55Porque Jehová destruye á Babilonia, y quitará de ella el mucho estruendo; y bramarán sus ondas, como muchas aguas será el sonido de la voz de ellos:

55Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:
