Jeremías 51

Ainsi dit l’Éternel : Voici, je fais lever un vent destructeur contre Babylone, et contre les †hommes qui habitent au cœur de ceux qui s’élèvent contre moi ;

ASÍ ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo levanto sobre Babilonia, y sobre sus moradores que se levantan contra mí, un viento destruidor.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

The LORD says: “Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against those who dwell in Lebkamai, a destroying wind.

et j’enverrai contre Babylone des étrangers qui la vanneront et qui videront son pays ; car ils seront contre elle tout alentour, au jour de †son malheur.

Y enviaré á Babilonia aventadores que la avienten, y vaciarán su tierra; porque serán contra ella de todas partes en el día del mal.

And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

I will send to Babylon strangers, who will winnow her. They will empty her land; for in the day of trouble they will be against her all around.

Qu’on bande son arc contre celui qui le bande et contre celui qui s’élève dans sa cotte de mailles ; et n’épargnez point ses jeunes hommes, détruisez entièrement toute son armée.

Diré al flechero que entesa su arco, y al que se pone orgulloso con su loriga: No perdonéis á sus mancebos, destruid todo su ejército.

Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

Against him who bends, let the archer bend his bow, also against him who lifts himself up in his coat of mail. Don’t spare her young men! Utterly destroy all her army!

Et les tués tomberont dans le pays des Chaldéens, et les transpercés, dans ses rues :

Y caerán muertos en la tierra de los Caldeos, y alanceados en sus calles.

Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.

They will fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets.

car Israël et Juda ne sont point privés de leur Dieu, de l’Éternel des armées ; car leur pays est plein de péché devant le Saint d’Israël.

Porque Israel y Judá no han enviudado de su Dios, Jehová de los ejércitos, aunque su tierra fué llena de pecado contra el Santo de Israel.

For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.

For Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, by his God, by the LORD of Armies; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

Fuyez du milieu de Babylone, et sauvez chacun sa vie ! Ne soyez point détruits dans son iniquité, car c’est le temps de la vengeance de l’Éternel : il lui rend sa récompense.

Huid de en medio de Babilonia, y librad cada uno su alma, porque no perezcáis á causa de su maldad: porque el tiempo es de venganza de Jehová; darále su pago.

Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’s vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

“Flee out of the middle of Babylon! Everyone save his own life! Don’t be cut off in her iniquity, for it is the time of the LORD’s vengeance. He will give to her a recompense.

Babylone a été une coupe d’or dans la main de l’Éternel, enivrant toute la terre. Les nations ont bu de son vin, c’est pourquoi les nations sont devenues insensées.

Vaso de oro fué Babilonia en la mano de Jehová, que embriaga toda la tierra: de su vino bebieron las gentes; aturdiéronse por tanto las naciones.

Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Babylon has been a golden cup in the LORD’s hand, who made all the earth drunk. The nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations have gone mad.

Subitement Babylone est tombée, et elle a été brisée. Hurlez sur elle, prenez du baume pour sa douleur, peut-être qu’elle guérira !

En un momento cayó Babilonia, y despedazóse: aullad sobre ella; tomad bálsamo para su dolor, quizá sanará.

Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed! Wail for her! Take balm for her pain. Perhaps she may be healed.

Nous avons traité Babylone, mais elle n’est pas guérie ; abandonnez-la, et allons-nous-en chacun dans son pays ; car son jugement atteint aux cieux et s’est élevé jusqu’aux nues.

Curamos á Babilonia, y no ha sanado: dejadla, y vámonos cada uno á su tierra; porque llegado ha hasta el cielo su juicio, y alzádose hasta las nubes.

We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

L’Éternel a produit au jour notre justice. Venez, et racontons en Sion l’œuvre de l’Éternel, notre Dieu.

Jehová sacó á luz nuestras justicias: venid, y contemos en Sión la obra de Jehová nuestro Dios.

The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

‘The LORD has produced our righteousness. Come, and let’s declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.’

Aiguisez les flèches, prenez les boucliers ! L’Éternel a réveillé l’esprit des rois des Mèdes, car sa pensée est contre Babylone pour la détruire, car c’est ici la vengeance de l’Éternel, la vengeance de son temple.

Limpiad las saetas, embrazad los escudos: despertado ha Jehová el espíritu de los reyes de Media; porque contra Babilonia es su pensamiento para destruirla; porque venganza es de Jehová, venganza de su templo.

Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

“Make the arrows sharp! Hold the shields firmly! The LORD has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

Élevez l’étendard sur les murs de Babylone ! Renforcez le guet, placez les gardes, préparez les embuscades ; car comme l’Éternel a pensé, il a aussi fait ce qu’il a dit contre les habitants de Babylone.

Levantad bandera sobre los muros de Babilonia, reforzad la guardia, poned centinelas, disponed celadas; porque deliberó Jehová, y aun pondrá en efecto lo que ha dicho sobre los moradores de Babilonia.

Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon! Make the watch strong! Set the watchmen, and prepare the ambushes; for the LORD has both purposed and done that which he spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

Toi qui habites sur beaucoup d’eaux, abondante en trésors, ta fin est venue, la mesure de tes rapines.

La que moras entre muchas aguas, rica en tesoros, venido ha tu fin, la medida de tu codicia.

O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.

You who dwell on many waters, abundant in treasures, your end has come, the measure of your covetousness.

L’Éternel des armées a juré par lui-même, †disant : Si je ne te remplis d’hommes comme de sauterelles, et s’ils ne poussent un cri de triomphe sur toi !

Jehová de los ejércitos juró por su vida, diciendo: Yo te llenaré de hombres como de langostas, y levantarán contra ti gritería.

The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

The LORD of Armies has sworn by himself, saying, ‘Surely I will fill you with men, as with locusts, and they will lift up a shout against you.’

C’est lui qui a fait la terre par sa puissance, qui a établi le monde par sa sagesse, et qui, par son intelligence, a étendu les cieux.

El es el que hizo la tierra con su fortaleza, el que afirmó el mundo con su sabiduría, y extendió los cielos con inteligencia;

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

“He has made the earth by his power. He has established the world by his wisdom. By his understanding he has stretched out the heavens.

Quand il fait retentir sa voix, il y a un tumulte d’eaux dans les cieux, et il fait monter les vapeurs du bout de la terre ; il fait les éclairs pour la pluie, et de ses trésors il tire le vent.

El que da con su voz muchedumbre de aguas del cielo, y hace subir las nubes de lo postrero de la tierra; él hace relámpagos con la lluvia, y saca el viento de sus tesoros.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

When he utters his voice, there is a roar of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and brings the wind out of his treasuries.

Tout homme est devenu stupide, en sorte qu’il n’a pas de connaissance ; tout fondeur a honte de l’image taillée, car son image de fonte est un mensonge ; il n’y a point de respiration en elles.

Todo hombre se ha infatuado y es sin ciencia: avergüénzase todo artífice de la escultura, porque mentira es su vaciadizo, que no tiene espíritu.

Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

“Every man has become stupid and without knowledge. Every goldsmith is disappointed by his image, for his molten images are falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Elles sont vanité, un ouvrage de déception ; elles périront au temps de leur visitation.

Vanidad son, obra de irrisiones; en el tiempo de su visitación perecerán.

They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

They are vanity, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation, they will perish.

La portion de Jacob n’est pas comme elles ; car c’est Celui qui a tout formé, et †Israël est la verge de son héritage : son nom est l’Éternel des armées.

No es como ellos la parte de Jacob: porque él es el Formador de todo; é Israel es la vara de su heredad: Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre.

The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.

The portion of Jacob is not like these, for he formed all things, including the tribe of his inheritance. The LORD of Armies is his name.

Tu es mon marteau, mes armes de guerre ; et par toi je briserai les nations, et par toi je détruirai les royaumes ;

Martillo me sois, y armas de guerra; y por medio de ti quebrantaré gentes, y por medio de ti desharé reinos;

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

“You are my battle ax and weapons of war. With you I will break the nations into pieces. With you I will destroy kingdoms.

et par toi je briserai le cheval et celui qui le monte, et par toi je briserai le char et celui qui le conduit ;

Y por tu medio quebrantaré caballos y sus cabalgadores, y por medio de ti quebrantaré carros y los que en ellos suben;

And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;

With you I will break in pieces the horse and his rider.

et par toi je briserai l’homme et la femme, et par toi je briserai le vieillard et le jeune garçon, et par toi je briserai le jeune homme et la vierge ;

Asimismo por tu medio quebrantaré hombres y mujeres, y por medio de ti quebrantaré viejos y mozos, y por tu medio quebrantaré mancebos y vírgenes:

With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;

With you I will break in pieces the chariot and him who rides therein. With you I will break in pieces man and woman. With you I will break in pieces the old man and the youth. With you I will break in pieces the young man and the virgin.

et par toi je briserai le pasteur et son troupeau ; et par toi je briserai le laboureur et son attelage ; et par toi je briserai les gouverneurs et les chefs ;

También quebrantaré por medio de ti al pastor y á su manada: quebrantaré por tu medio á labradores y sus yuntas; y duques y príncipes quebrantaré por medio de ti.

I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

With you I will break in pieces the shepherd and his flock. With you I will break in pieces the farmer and his yoke. With you I will break in pieces governors and deputies.

et je rendrai à Babylone et à tous les habitants de la Chaldée tout le mal qu’ils ont fait en Sion, devant vos yeux, dit l’Éternel.

Y pagaré á Babilonia y á todos los moradores de Caldea, todo el mal de ellos que hicieron en Sión delante de vuestros ojos, dice Jehová.

And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD.

“I will give to Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight,” says the LORD.

Voici, †j’en veux à toi, dit l’Éternel, montagne de destruction qui détruis toute la terre ; j’étendrai ma main contre toi, et je te roulerai du haut des rochers, et je ferai de toi une montagne brûlante.

He aquí yo contra ti, oh monte destruidor, dice Jehová, que destruiste toda la tierra; y extenderé mi mano sobre ti, y te haré rodar de las peñas, y te tornaré monte quemado.

Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

“Behold, I am against you, destroying mountain,” says the LORD, “which destroys all the earth. I will stretch out my hand on you, roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burned mountain.

Et on ne prendra pas de toi une pierre pour un angle, ni une pierre pour des fondements, car tu seras des désolations perpétuelles, dit l’Éternel.

Y nadie tomará de ti piedra para esquina, ni piedra para cimiento; porque perpetuos asolamientos serás, ha dicho Jehová.

And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.

They won’t take a cornerstone from you, nor a stone for foundations; but you will be desolate forever,” says the LORD.

Élevez l’étendard dans le pays, sonnez de la trompette parmi les nations, préparez les nations contre elle, convoquez contre elle les royaumes d’Ararat, de Minni et d’Ashkenaz, établissez contre elle un capitaine, faites monter des chevaux comme des sauterelles hérissées !

Alzad bandera en la tierra, tocad trompeta en las naciones, apercibid gentes contra ella; juntad contra ella los reinos de Ararat, de Minni, y de Aschênaz; señalad contra ella capitán, haced subir caballos como langostas erizadas.

Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.

“Set up a standard in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations against her! Call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz! Appoint a marshal against her! Cause the horses to come up as the swarming locusts!

Préparez contre elle les nations, les rois des Mèdes, leurs capitaines, et tous leurs chefs, et tout le pays de leur domination.

Apercibid contra ella gentes; á reyes de Media, á sus capitanes, y á todos sus príncipes, y á toda la tierra de su señorío.

Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.

Prepare against her the nations, the kings of the Medes, its governors, and all its deputies, and all the land of their dominion!

Et la terre tremble et est en travail, car les desseins de l’Éternel contre Babylone s’accomplissent, pour réduire la terre de Babylone en désolation, de sorte qu’il n’y a pas d’habitant.

Y temblará la tierra, y afligiráse; porque confirmado es contra Babilonia todo el pensamiento de Jehová, para poner la tierra de Babilonia en soledad, y que no haya morador.

And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

The land trembles and is in pain; for the purposes of the LORD against Babylon stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

Les hommes forts de Babylone ont cessé de combattre, ils sont assis dans les places fortes ; leur force est épuisée, ils sont comme des femmes ; on a mis le feu à leurs demeures, leurs barres sont brisées.

Los valientes de Babilonia dejaron de pelear, estuviéronse en sus fuertes: faltóles su fortaleza, tornáronse como mujeres: encendiéronse sus casas, quebráronse sus cerrojos.

The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken.

The mighty men of Babylon have stopped fighting, they remain in their strongholds. Their might has failed. They have become as women. Her dwelling places are set on fire. Her bars are broken.

Le coureur court à la rencontre du coureur, et le messager à la rencontre du messager, pour annoncer au roi de Babylone que sa ville est prise de bout en bout,

Correo se encontrará con correo, mensajero se encontrará con mensajero, para noticiar al rey de Babilonia que su ciudad es tomada por todas partes:

One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end,

One runner will run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every quarter.

et que les passages sont saisis, et que les étangs sont brûlés par le feu, et que les hommes de guerre sont épouvantés.

Y los vados fueron tomados, y los carrizos fueron quemados á fuego, y consternáronse los hombres de guerra.

And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

So the passages are seized. They have burned the reeds with fire. The men of war are frightened.”

Car ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël : La fille de Babylone est comme une aire au temps où on la foule ; encore un peu, et le temps de la moisson viendra pour elle.

Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: La hija de Babilonia es como parva; tiempo es ya de trillarla: de aquí á poco le vendrá el tiempo de la siega.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

For the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says: “The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden. Yet a little while, and the time of harvest comes for her.”

Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, m’a dévorée, il m’a exterminée, il m’a laissée comme un vase vide ; comme un dragon, il m’a avalée, il a rempli son ventre de mes délices, il m’a chassée au loin.

Comióme, desmenuzóme Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia; paróme como vaso vacío, tragóme como dragón, hinchió su vientre de mis delicadezas, y echóme.

Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.

“Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me. He has crushed me. He has made me an empty vessel. He has, like a monster, swallowed me up. He has filled his mouth with my delicacies. He has cast me out.

Que la violence qui m’est faite, et ma chair, soient sur Babylone, dira l’habitante de Sion ; et que mon sang soit sur les habitants de la Chaldée, dira Jérusalem.

Sobre Babilonia la violencia contra mí y mi carne, dirá la moradora de Sión; y mi sangre sobre los moradores de Caldea, dirá Jerusalem.

The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

May the violence done to me and to my flesh be on Babylon!” the inhabitant of Zion will say; and, “May my blood be on the inhabitants of Chaldea!” will Jerusalem say.

C’est pourquoi, ainsi dit l’Éternel : Voici, je prends en main ta cause, et j’exerce ta vengeance ; et je dessécherai sa mer, et je tarirai sa source ;

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo juzgo tu causa y haré tu venganza; y secaré su mar, y haré que quede seca su corriente.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

Therefore the LORD says: “Behold, I will plead your cause, and take vengeance for you. I will dry up her sea, and make her fountain dry.

et Babylone sera des monceaux †de ruines, un repaire de chacals, un sujet d’étonnement et de sifflement, de sorte qu’il n’y aura pas d’habitant.

Y será Babilonia para montones, morada de chacales, espanto y silbo, sin morador.

And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

Babylon will become heaps, a dwelling place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.

Ils rugiront ensemble comme de jeunes lions, ils gronderont comme les petits des lions.

A una rugirán como leones; como cachorros de leones bramarán.

They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions’ whelps.

They will roar together like young lions. They will growl as lions’ cubs.

Quand ils seront échauffés, je préparerai leur breuvage, et je les enivrerai, afin qu’ils s’égaient, et qu’ils dorment d’un sommeil perpétuel et ne se réveillent plus, dit l’Éternel.

En su calor les pondré sus banquetes; y haréles que se embriaguen, para que se alegren, y duerman eterno sueño, y no despierten, dice Jehová.

In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.

When they are inflamed, I will make their feast, and I will make them drunk, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake up,” says the LORD.

Je les ferai descendre comme des agneaux à la tuerie, comme des béliers avec des boucs.

Hacerlos he traer como corderos al matadero, como carneros con cabritos.

I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats.

“I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with male goats.

Comment a été prise Shéshac, et comment la louange de toute la terre a-t-elle été saisie ! Comment Babylone est-elle devenue un sujet d’étonnement parmi les nations !

¡Cómo fué presa Sesach, y fué tomada la que era alabada por toda la tierra! ¡Cómo fué Babilonia por espanto entre las gentes!

How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!

“How Sheshach is taken! How the praise of the whole earth is seized! How Babylon has become a desolation among the nations!

La mer est montée sur Babylone ; elle a été couverte du tumulte de ses flots.

Subió la mar sobre Babilonia; de la multitud de sus ondas fué cubierta.

The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

The sea has come up on Babylon. She is covered with the multitude of its waves.

Ses villes sont devenues une désolation, un pays sec et une lande aride, un pays où n’habite aucun homme et par où ne passe aucun fils d’homme.

Sus ciudades fueron asoladas, la tierra seca y desierta, tierra que no morará en ella nadie, ni pasará por ella hijo de hombre.

Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

Her cities have become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land in which no man dwells. No son of man passes by it.

Et je punirai Bel à Babylone, et je ferai sortir de sa bouche ce qu’il a englouti, et les nations n’afflueront plus vers lui : la muraille aussi de Babylone est tombée.

Y visitaré á Bel en Babilonia, y sacaré de su boca lo que ha tragado: y no vendrán más á él gentes; y el muro de Babilonia caerá.

And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

I will execute judgment on Bel in Babylon, and I will bring out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up. The nations will not flow any more to him. Yes, the wall of Babylon will fall.

Sortez du milieu d’elle, mon peuple ! et sauvez chacun son âme de l’ardeur de la colère de l’Éternel,

Salid de en medio de ella, pueblo mío, y salvad cada uno su vida de la ira del furor de Jehová.

My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

“My people, go away from the middle of her, and each of you save yourselves from the LORD’s fierce anger.

de peur que votre cœur ne mollisse, et que vous n’ayez peur du bruit qui s’entendra sur la terre ; car un bruit viendra une année, et après lui, un †autre bruit une †autre année, et il y aura violence sur la terre, dominateur contre dominateur.

Y porque no desmaye vuestro corazón, y temáis á causa de la fama que se oirá por la tierra, en un año vendrá la fama, y después en otro año el rumor, y la violencia en la tierra, y el enseñoreador sobre el que enseñorea.

And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

Don’t let your heart faint. Don’t fear for the news that will be heard in the land. For news will come one year, and after that in another year news will come, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

C’est pourquoi, voici, des jours viennent, et je punirai les images taillées de Babylone ; et tout son pays sera honteux, et tous ses tués tomberont au milieu d’elle.

Por tanto, he aquí vienen días que yo visitaré las esculturas de Babilonia, y toda su tierra será avergonzada, y todos sus muertos caerán en medio de ella.

Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

Et les cieux et la terre, et tout ce qui est en eux, exulteront avec chant de triomphe sur Babylone ; car du nord il viendra des dévastateurs contre elle, dit l’Éternel.

Y los cielos y la tierra, y todo lo que está en ellos, darán alabanzas sobre Babilonia: porque del aquilón vendrán sobre ella destruidores, dice Jehová.

Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.

De même que Babylone a fait tomber les tués d’Israël, de même les tués de toute la terre tomberont à Babylone. –

Réchappés de l’épée, marchez, ne vous arrêtez pas ! De loin souvenez-vous de l’Éternel, et que Jérusalem vous vienne au cœur. –

Los que escapasteis del cuchillo, andad, no os detengáis; acordaos por muchos días de Jehová, y acordaos de Jerusalem.

Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

You who have escaped the sword, go! Don’t stand still! Remember the LORD from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.”

Nous sommes honteux, parce que nous avons entendu des opprobres ; la confusion a couvert nos faces, car des étrangers sont entrés dans les sanctuaires de la maison de l’Éternel. –

Estamos avergonzados, porque oímos la afrenta: confusión cubrió nuestros rostros, porque vinieron extranjeros contra los santuarios de la casa de Jehová.

We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD’s house.

C’est pourquoi, voici, des jours viennent, dit l’Éternel, et je punirai ses images taillées, et dans toute sa terre gémiront les blessés à mort.

Por tanto, he aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, que yo visitaré sus esculturas, y en toda su tierra gemirán los heridos.

Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

Que Babylone monte jusqu’aux cieux, et qu’elle fortifie la hauteur de sa force : de par moi viendront des dévastateurs contre elle, dit l’Éternel.

Si subiese Babilonia al cielo, y si fortaleciere en lo alto su fuerza, de mí vendrán á ella destruidores, dice Jehová.

Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.

La voix d’un cri †qui vient de Babylone ! Une grande ruine, du pays des Chaldéens !

¡Sonido de grito de Babilonia, y quebrantamiento grande de la tierra de los Caldeos!

A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:

“The sound of a cry comes from Babylon, and of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!

car l’Éternel dévaste Babylone, et il détruira du milieu d’elle la grande voix. Et leurs flots mugissent comme de grosses eaux, le bruit de leur voix retentit.

Porque Jehová destruye á Babilonia, y quitará de ella el mucho estruendo; y bramarán sus ondas, como muchas aguas será el sonido de la voz de ellos:

Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:

For the LORD lays Babylon waste, and destroys out of her the great voice! Their waves roar like many waters. The noise of their voice is uttered.

Car le dévastateur est venu contre elle, contre Babylone ; et ses hommes forts sont pris, leurs arcs sont brisés ! Car l’Éternel, le ✶Dieu des rétributions, rend certainement ce qui est dû.

Porque vino destruidor contra ella, contra Babilonia, y sus valientes fueron presos, el arco de ellos fué quebrado: porque Jehová, Dios de retribuciones, dará la paga.

Because the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite.

For the destroyer has come on her, even on Babylon. Her mighty men are taken. Their bows are broken in pieces, for the LORD is a God of retribution. He will surely repay.

And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées : La large muraille de Babylone sera entièrement rasée, et ses hautes portes seront brûlées par le feu ; et les peuples auront travaillé pour néant, et les peuplades pour le feu, et elles seront lasses.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: El muro ancho de Babilonia será derribado enteramente, y sus altas puertas serán quemadas á fuego; y en vano trabajarán pueblos y gentes en el fuego, y se cansarán.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.

The LORD of Armies says: “The wide walls of Babylon will be utterly overthrown. Her high gates will be burned with fire. The peoples will labor for vanity, and the nations for the fire; and they will be weary.”

Palabra que envió Jeremías profeta á Seraías hijo de Nerías, hijo de Maasías, cuando iba con Sedechîas rey de Judá á Babilonia, el cuarto año de su reinado. Y era Seraías el principal camarero.

et tu diras : Éternel ! tu as parlé contre ce lieu pour le retrancher, de manière qu’il n’y ait pas d’habitant, depuis l’homme jusqu’à la bête, mais qu’il soit des désolations perpétuelles.

Dirás: Oh Jehová, tú has dicho contra este lugar que lo habías de talar, hasta no quedar en él morador, ni hombre ni animal, sino que para siempre ha de ser asolado.

Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

and say, ‘LORD, you have spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that no one will dwell in it, neither man nor animal, but that it will be desolate forever.’

Et il arrivera que, quand tu auras achevé de lire ce livre, tu y attacheras une pierre, et tu le jetteras au milieu de l’Euphrate ;

Y será que cuando acabares de leer este libro, le atarás una piedra, y lo echarás en medio del Eufrates:

And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

et tu diras : Ainsi Babylone s’enfoncera, et ne se relèvera point du mal que je vais faire venir sur elle ; et ils seront las. Jusqu’ici les paroles de Jérémie.

Y dirás: Así será anegada Babilonia, y no se levantará del mal que yo traigo sobre ella; y serán rendidos. Hasta aquí son las palabras de Jeremías.
