Jeremías 51

Ainsi parle l'Eternel: "Voici, je vais susciter contre Babel et contre les habitants de la Chaldée un vent destructeur.

ASÍ ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo levanto sobre Babilonia, y sobre sus moradores que se levantan contra mí, un viento destruidor.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

The LORD says: “Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against those who dwell in Lebkamai, a destroying wind.

Je lancerai sur Babel des barbares pour la secouer comme dans un van et faire le vide dans son territoire. Oui, au jour du malheur, ils la cerneront de toutes parts.

Y enviaré á Babilonia aventadores que la avienten, y vaciarán su tierra; porque serán contra ella de todas partes en el día del mal.

And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

I will send to Babylon strangers, who will winnow her. They will empty her land; for in the day of trouble they will be against her all around.

Que l'archer ne bande pas son arc, qu'il ne revête pas sa cuirasse! †Quant-à vous, n'épargnez pas ses jeunes gens, exterminez toute son armée.

Diré al flechero que entesa su arco, y al que se pone orgulloso con su loriga: No perdonéis á sus mancebos, destruid todo su ejército.

Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

Against him who bends, let the archer bend his bow, also against him who lifts himself up in his coat of mail. Don’t spare her young men! Utterly destroy all her army!

Qu'ils tombent sur la terre des Chaldéens, frappés à mort, et dans ses rues, transpercés par l'épée!

Y caerán muertos en la tierra de los Caldeos, y alanceados en sus calles.

Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.

They will fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets.

Certes, Israël non plus que Juda n'est veuf de son Dieu, l'Eternel-Cebaot, tandis que le pays †des Chaldéens déborde de crimes à l'égard du Saint d'Israël.

Porque Israel y Judá no han enviudado de su Dios, Jehová de los ejércitos, aunque su tierra fué llena de pecado contra el Santo de Israel.

For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.

For Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, by his God, by the LORD of Armies; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

Fuyez, sortez de Babel, sauvez-vous tous, afin de ne pas périr pour son crime, car c'est un temps de représailles pour l'Eternel, qui lui paie le prix de ses actes.

Huid de en medio de Babilonia, y librad cada uno su alma, porque no perezcáis á causa de su maldad: porque el tiempo es de venganza de Jehová; darále su pago.

Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’s vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

“Flee out of the middle of Babylon! Everyone save his own life! Don’t be cut off in her iniquity, for it is the time of the LORD’s vengeance. He will give to her a recompense.

Babel était entre les mains du Seigneur une coupe d'or, destinée à donner l'ivresse à toute la terre; les nations buvaient de son vin et pour cela entraient en délire.

Vaso de oro fué Babilonia en la mano de Jehová, que embriaga toda la tierra: de su vino bebieron las gentes; aturdiéronse por tanto las naciones.

Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Babylon has been a golden cup in the LORD’s hand, who made all the earth drunk. The nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations have gone mad.

Soudain Babel est tombée, et elle s'est brisée. Pleurez sur elle, cherchez du baume pour ses maux, peut-être guérira-t-elle.

En un momento cayó Babilonia, y despedazóse: aullad sobre ella; tomad bálsamo para su dolor, quizá sanará.

Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed! Wail for her! Take balm for her pain. Perhaps she may be healed.

Nous avons voulu guérir Babel, mais elle est inguérissable. Abandonnez-la! Que chacun de nous retourne en son pays, puisque son châtiment atteint jusqu'au ciel et s'élève jusqu'à la voûte du firmament!

Curamos á Babilonia, y no ha sanado: dejadla, y vámonos cada uno á su tierra; porque llegado ha hasta el cielo su juicio, y alzádose hasta las nubes.

We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

Le Seigneur a fait éclater notre droit: Allons raconter dans Sion l'oeuvre de l'Eternel, notre Dieu.

Jehová sacó á luz nuestras justicias: venid, y contemos en Sión la obra de Jehová nuestro Dios.

The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

‘The LORD has produced our righteousness. Come, and let’s declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.’

Fourbissez les flèches, emplissez les carquois! Le Seigneur a stimulé le courage des rois de Médie, car sa pensée est dirigée contre Babel, dont il veut la destruction: ce sont les représailles de l'Eternel, la revanche de son sanctuaire.

Limpiad las saetas, embrazad los escudos: despertado ha Jehová el espíritu de los reyes de Media; porque contra Babilonia es su pensamiento para destruirla; porque venganza es de Jehová, venganza de su templo.

Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

“Make the arrows sharp! Hold the shields firmly! The LORD has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

Arborez une bannière près des remparts de Babel, renforcez le poste d'observation, placez des sentinelles, disposez des embuscades, car l'Eternel, il a conçu un dessein et il va exécuter ce qu'il a annoncé contre les habitants de Babel.

Levantad bandera sobre los muros de Babilonia, reforzad la guardia, poned centinelas, disponed celadas; porque deliberó Jehová, y aun pondrá en efecto lo que ha dicho sobre los moradores de Babilonia.

Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon! Make the watch strong! Set the watchmen, and prepare the ambushes; for the LORD has both purposed and done that which he spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

O toi, qui es assise le long des eaux abondantes, si riche en trésors, ta fin est venue, la mesure de tes rapines †est comble.

La que moras entre muchas aguas, rica en tesoros, venido ha tu fin, la medida de tu codicia.

O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.

You who dwell on many waters, abundant in treasures, your end has come, the measure of your covetousness.

L'Eternel-Cebaot l'a juré par lui-même: Certes, je t'inonderai d'hommes nombreux comme les sauterelles, et ils pousseront contre toi le cri de victoire."

Jehová de los ejércitos juró por su vida, diciendo: Yo te llenaré de hombres como de langostas, y levantarán contra ti gritería.

The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

The LORD of Armies has sworn by himself, saying, ‘Surely I will fill you with men, as with locusts, and they will lift up a shout against you.’

Il a créé la terre par sa puissance, affermi le monde par sa sagesse, déployé les cieux par son intelligence.

El es el que hizo la tierra con su fortaleza, el que afirmó el mundo con su sabiduría, y extendió los cielos con inteligencia;

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

“He has made the earth by his power. He has established the world by his wisdom. By his understanding he has stretched out the heavens.

Lorsqu'il fait entendre le bruit †du tonnerre, des torrents d'eau s'amassent au ciel; il élève les nuées du bout de la terre, il accompagne d'éclairs la pluie et fait s'échapper le vent de ses réservoirs.

El que da con su voz muchedumbre de aguas del cielo, y hace subir las nubes de lo postrero de la tierra; él hace relámpagos con la lluvia, y saca el viento de sus tesoros.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

When he utters his voice, there is a roar of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and brings the wind out of his treasuries.

Tout être humain est éperdu, incapable de comprendre; tout orfèvre a honte de son idole, car sa statue de fonte est un mensonge, nul souffle de vie en tous ces dieux.

Todo hombre se ha infatuado y es sin ciencia: avergüénzase todo artífice de la escultura, porque mentira es su vaciadizo, que no tiene espíritu.

Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

“Every man has become stupid and without knowledge. Every goldsmith is disappointed by his image, for his molten images are falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Ce sont des néants, des oeuvres d'aberration; au jour du règlement des comptes, ils périront.

Vanidad son, obra de irrisiones; en el tiempo de su visitación perecerán.

They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

They are vanity, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation, they will perish.

Tel n'est point Celui qui est le lot de Jacob; c'est le créateur de l'univers, et †Israël est la tribu qui lui appartient en propre: Eternel-Cebaot est son nom .

No es como ellos la parte de Jacob: porque él es el Formador de todo; é Israel es la vara de su heredad: Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre.

The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.

The portion of Jacob is not like these, for he formed all things, including the tribe of his inheritance. The LORD of Armies is his name.

Tu étais pour moi une massue, une arme de guerre; avec toi je broyais les nations, avec toi je détruisais les royaumes.

Martillo me sois, y armas de guerra; y por medio de ti quebrantaré gentes, y por medio de ti desharé reinos;

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

“You are my battle ax and weapons of war. With you I will break the nations into pieces. With you I will destroy kingdoms.

Avec toi j'écrasais le cheval et son cavalier; avec toi j'écrasais le char et celui qui le montait.

Y por tu medio quebrantaré caballos y sus cabalgadores, y por medio de ti quebrantaré carros y los que en ellos suben;

And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;

With you I will break in pieces the horse and his rider.

Avec toi j'écrasais hommes et femmes, avec toi j'écrasais vieillards et enfants, avec toi j'écrasais jeune homme et vierge.

Asimismo por tu medio quebrantaré hombres y mujeres, y por medio de ti quebrantaré viejos y mozos, y por tu medio quebrantaré mancebos y vírgenes:

With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;

With you I will break in pieces the chariot and him who rides therein. With you I will break in pieces man and woman. With you I will break in pieces the old man and the youth. With you I will break in pieces the young man and the virgin.

Avec toi j'écrasais le berger et son troupeau, avec toi j'écrasais le laboureur et son attelage, avec toi j'écrasais satrapes et gouverneurs.

También quebrantaré por medio de ti al pastor y á su manada: quebrantaré por tu medio á labradores y sus yuntas; y duques y príncipes quebrantaré por medio de ti.

I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

With you I will break in pieces the shepherd and his flock. With you I will break in pieces the farmer and his yoke. With you I will break in pieces governors and deputies.

Mais je rendrai à Babel et à tous les habitants de la Chaldée tout le mal qu'ils ont fait à Sion, †je le leur rendrai sous vos yeux, dit le Seigneur.

Y pagaré á Babilonia y á todos los moradores de Caldea, todo el mal de ellos que hicieron en Sión delante de vuestros ojos, dice Jehová.

And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD.

“I will give to Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight,” says the LORD.

Voici, c'est à toi que j'en ai, ô montagne de destruction, dit le Seigneur, toi qui as causé la ruine de toute la terre. J'étendrai ma main contre toi, je te ferai rouler du haut des rochers et te changerai en un mont calciné.

He aquí yo contra ti, oh monte destruidor, dice Jehová, que destruiste toda la tierra; y extenderé mi mano sobre ti, y te haré rodar de las peñas, y te tornaré monte quemado.

Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

“Behold, I am against you, destroying mountain,” says the LORD, “which destroys all the earth. I will stretch out my hand on you, roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burned mountain.

On ne tirera de toi ni pierre d'angle ni pierre de fondation; mais tu seras réduite à l'état de ruine éternelle, dit le Seigneur.

Y nadie tomará de ti piedra para esquina, ni piedra para cimiento; porque perpetuos asolamientos serás, ha dicho Jehová.

And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.

They won’t take a cornerstone from you, nor a stone for foundations; but you will be desolate forever,” says the LORD.

Dressez un signal dans le pays, faites résonner le clairon parmi les nations; contre elle, convoquez des peuples, rassemblez les royaumes d'Ararat, de Minni et d'Achkenaz, recrutez des officiers, amenez des chevaux comme une volée de sauterelles aux ailes hérissées.

Alzad bandera en la tierra, tocad trompeta en las naciones, apercibid gentes contra ella; juntad contra ella los reinos de Ararat, de Minni, y de Aschênaz; señalad contra ella capitán, haced subir caballos como langostas erizadas.

Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.

“Set up a standard in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations against her! Call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz! Appoint a marshal against her! Cause the horses to come up as the swarming locusts!

Convoquez contre elle des peuples, les rois de Médie, Ses gouverneurs et tous ses chefs, et tout le territoire de sa suzeraineté.

Apercibid contra ella gentes; á reyes de Media, á sus capitanes, y á todos sus príncipes, y á toda la tierra de su señorío.

Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.

Prepare against her the nations, the kings of the Medes, its governors, and all its deputies, and all the land of their dominion!

La terre a frémi et tremblé, car ils s'accomplissent sur Babel, les desseins de l'Eternel, qui veut faire de Babel une solitude inhabitée.

Y temblará la tierra, y afligiráse; porque confirmado es contra Babilonia todo el pensamiento de Jehová, para poner la tierra de Babilonia en soledad, y que no haya morador.

And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

The land trembles and is in pain; for the purposes of the LORD against Babylon stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

Les guerriers de Babel renoncent à combattre, se tiennent cois dans les forts; leur courage s'est évanoui, ils ressemblent à des femmes. On a mis le feu à ses demeures, ses verrous sont brisés.

Los valientes de Babilonia dejaron de pelear, estuviéronse en sus fuertes: faltóles su fortaleza, tornáronse como mujeres: encendiéronse sus casas, quebráronse sus cerrojos.

The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken.

The mighty men of Babylon have stopped fighting, they remain in their strongholds. Their might has failed. They have become as women. Her dwelling places are set on fire. Her bars are broken.

Courrier sur courrier, messager sur messager se précipitent pour annoncer au roi de Babel que sa ville est envahie de toutes parts,

Correo se encontrará con correo, mensajero se encontrará con mensajero, para noticiar al rey de Babilonia que su ciudad es tomada por todas partes:

One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end,

One runner will run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every quarter.

que les passages sont occupés, que les fascines sont consumées par le feu, et que les gens de guerre sont dans l'épouvante.

Y los vados fueron tomados, y los carrizos fueron quemados á fuego, y consternáronse los hombres de guerra.

And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

So the passages are seized. They have burned the reeds with fire. The men of war are frightened.”

Oui, ainsi parle l'Eternel-Cebaot, Dieu d'Israël: "Babel ressemble à une aire, au temps où elle est piétinée; encore un peu et l'heure de la moisson arrivera pour elle.

Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: La hija de Babilonia es como parva; tiempo es ya de trillarla: de aquí á poco le vendrá el tiempo de la siega.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

For the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says: “The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden. Yet a little while, and the time of harvest comes for her.”

"II m'avait dépouillée †dit Sion, il m'avait affolée, Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babel; il m'avait laissée là comme un vase vidé, après m'avoir avalée comme un dragon et s'être bourré le ventre de mes délices; il m'avait pourchassée.

Comióme, desmenuzóme Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia; paróme como vaso vacío, tragóme como dragón, hinchió su vientre de mis delicadezas, y echóme.

Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.

“Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me. He has crushed me. He has made me an empty vessel. He has, like a monster, swallowed me up. He has filled his mouth with my delicacies. He has cast me out.

Que les violences que j'ai subies dans ma chair soient imputées à Babel! s'écrie l'habitante de Sion; que mon sang retombe sur les gens de Chaldée! s'écrie Jérusalem.

Sobre Babilonia la violencia contra mí y mi carne, dirá la moradora de Sión; y mi sangre sobre los moradores de Caldea, dirá Jerusalem.

The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

May the violence done to me and to my flesh be on Babylon!” the inhabitant of Zion will say; and, “May my blood be on the inhabitants of Chaldea!” will Jerusalem say.

C'est pourquoi, ainsi parle le Seigneur, je vais épouser ta querelle et assouvir ta vengeance; je vais dessécher ses eaux et tarir sa source.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo juzgo tu causa y haré tu venganza; y secaré su mar, y haré que quede seca su corriente.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

Therefore the LORD says: “Behold, I will plead your cause, and take vengeance for you. I will dry up her sea, and make her fountain dry.

Et Babel deviendra un monceau de ruines, un repaire de chacals, un objet de stupeur et de raillerie, un lieu inhabité.

Y será Babilonia para montones, morada de chacales, espanto y silbo, sin morador.

And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

Babylon will become heaps, a dwelling place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.

Ensemble, ils hurleront comme des léopards, ils grinceront comme de jeunes lionceaux.

A una rugirán como leones; como cachorros de leones bramarán.

They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions’ whelps.

They will roar together like young lions. They will growl as lions’ cubs.

Au plus fort de leur ardeur, je leur présenterai un festin et leur donnerai l'ivresse, pour qu'ils entrent en délire et s'endorment d'un sommeil éternel, pour ne plus se réveiller, dit le Seigneur.

En su calor les pondré sus banquetes; y haréles que se embriaguen, para que se alegren, y duerman eterno sueño, y no despierten, dice Jehová.

In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.

When they are inflamed, I will make their feast, and I will make them drunk, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake up,” says the LORD.

Je les traînerai à la boucherie comme des brebis, comme des béliers et des boucs.

Hacerlos he traer como corderos al matadero, como carneros con cabritos.

I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats.

“I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with male goats.

Ah! comme Sésac est emportée de force! Comme elle est prise, elle, l'ornement de toute la terre! Comme Babel est devenue une solitude parmi les nations!

¡Cómo fué presa Sesach, y fué tomada la que era alabada por toda la tierra! ¡Cómo fué Babilonia por espanto entre las gentes!

How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!

“How Sheshach is taken! How the praise of the whole earth is seized! How Babylon has become a desolation among the nations!

La mer s'est élancée sur Babel, de la masse de ses flots elle est recouverte.

Subió la mar sobre Babilonia; de la multitud de sus ondas fué cubierta.

The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

The sea has come up on Babylon. She is covered with the multitude of its waves.

Ses villes se sont changées en solitude,, en une région aride et déserte, où nul homme ne s'établira, que ne traversera nul mortel.

Sus ciudades fueron asoladas, la tierra seca y desierta, tierra que no morará en ella nadie, ni pasará por ella hijo de hombre.

Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

Her cities have become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land in which no man dwells. No son of man passes by it.

Je sévirai sur Bel à Babel, je lui arracherai de la bouche le morceau déjà avalé. Les nations n'y afflueront plus et les murs même. de Babel vont s'écrouler.

Y visitaré á Bel en Babilonia, y sacaré de su boca lo que ha tragado: y no vendrán más á él gentes; y el muro de Babilonia caerá.

And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

I will execute judgment on Bel in Babylon, and I will bring out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up. The nations will not flow any more to him. Yes, the wall of Babylon will fall.

Partez de là, mon peuple; que chacun sauve sa vie devant l'ardente colère de l'Eternel!

Salid de en medio de ella, pueblo mío, y salvad cada uno su vida de la ira del furor de Jehová.

My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

“My people, go away from the middle of her, and each of you save yourselves from the LORD’s fierce anger.
