Correi pelas ruas de Jerusalém, e olhai agora, e informai-vos, e buscai em suas praças, para ver se achais algum homem, se há alguém que faça juízo, que busque a verdade; e eu a perdoarei.
DISCURRID por las plazas de Jerusalem, y mirad ahora, y sabed, y buscad en sus plazas si halláis hombre, si hay alguno que haga juicio, que busque verdad; y yo la perdonaré.

E ainda que digam: Vive o SENHOR; contudo juram falsamente.

Ah SENHOR, por acaso teus olhos não enxergam a verdade? Tu os feriste, mas não lhes doeu; tu os consumiste, mas não aceitaram receber correção; endureceram seus rostos mais que rocha; não quiseram se converter.
Oh Jehová, ¿no miran tus ojos á la verdad? Azotástelos, y no les dolió; consumístelos, y no quisieron recibir corrección; endurecieron sus rostros más que la piedra, no quisieron tornarse.
O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

Eu porém disse: Certamente eles são pobres; enlouqueceram, pois não conhecem o caminho do SENHOR, o juízo de seu Deus.

Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.

Irei aos grandes, e falarei com eles; porque eles conhecem o caminho do SENHOR, o juízo de seu Deus.Porém eles também quebraram o jugo; também romperam as amarras.
Irme he á los grandes, y hablaréles; porque ellos conocen el camino de Jehová, el juicio de su Dios. Ciertamente ellos también quebraron el yugo, rompieron las coyundas.
I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.

Por isso um leão do bosque os ferirá; um lobo do deserto os destruirá; um leopardo vigiará sobre suas cidades; qualquer um que delas sair, será despedaçado; pois suas transgressões se multiplicaram, foram numerosas suas infidelidades.
Por tanto, león del monte los herirá, destruirálos lobo del desierto, tigre acechará sobre sus ciudades; cualquiera que de ellas saliere, será arrebatado: porque sus rebeliones se han multiplicado, hanse aumentado sus deslealtades.
Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.
Therefore a lion out of the forest will kill them. A wolf of the evenings will destroy them. A leopard will watch against their cities. Everyone who goes out there will be torn in pieces, because their transgressions are many and their backsliding has increased.
Como te perdoaria por isto? Teus filhos me deixaram, e juram pelo que não é Deus. Eu os saciei, porém eles adulteraram, e se aglomeraram em casa de prostitutas.
¿Cómo te he de perdonar por esto? Sus hijos me dejaron, y juraron por lo que no es Dios. Saciélos, y adulteraron, y en casa de ramera se juntaron en compañías.
How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.

Como cavalos bem alimentados, levantam-se pela manhã; cada um relinchava à mulher de seu próximo.
Como caballos bien hartos fueron á la mañana, cada cual relinchaba á la mujer de su prójimo.
They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour’s wife.

Não teria eu de fazer visitação sobre isto?diz o SENHOR. De uma nação como esta não vingaria minha alma?
¿No había de hacer visitación sobre esto? dijo Jehová. De una gente como ésta ¿no se había de vengar mi alma?
Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Shouldn’t I punish them for these things?” says the LORD. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Subi seus muros, e destruí; mas não destruais por completo. Tirai os ramos de seus muros, porque não pertencem ao SENHOR.
Escalad sus muros, y destruid; mas no hagáis consumación: quitad las almenas de sus muros, porque no son de Jehová.
Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD’s.

Pois a casa de Israel e a casa de Judá traíram enganosamente contra mim,diz o SENHOR.
Porque resueltamente se rebelaron contra mí la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá, dice Jehová.

Negaram ao SENHOR, e disseram: Não é ele; não virá mal sobre nós; não veremos espada, nem fome;

They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

e até os profetas serão como o vento, pois a palavra não está neles; assim acontecerá a eles mesmos.

Portanto assim diz o SENHOR Deus dos exércitos: Visto que falastes esta palavra, eis que tornarei minhas palavras em tua boca em fogo, e a este povo será lenha; e o fogo os consumirá.
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová Dios de los ejércitos: Porque hablasteis esta palabra, he aquí yo pongo en tu boca mis palabras por fuego, y á este pueblo por leños, y los consumirá.
Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Eis que trarei sobre vós uma nação de longe, ó casa de Israel,diz o SENHOR; uma nação forte, nação bastante antiga; uma nação cuja língua não saberás, e o que falarem não entenderás.
He aquí yo traigo sobre vosotros gente de lejos, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová; gente robusta, gente antigua, gente cuya lengua ignorarás, y no entenderás lo que hablare.
Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.
Behold, I will bring a nation on you from far away, house of Israel,” says the LORD. “It is a mighty nation. It is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you don’t know and don’t understand what they say.
Sua aljava é como uma sepultura aberta; todos eles são poderosos.

And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.
They will eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They will eat up your flocks and your herds. They will eat up your vines and your fig trees. They will beat down your fortified cities in which you trust with the sword.
Porém naqueles dias, diz o SENHOR, não vos acabarei por completo.
Empero en aquellos días, dice Jehová, no os acabaré del todo.
Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.
“But even in those days,” says the LORD, “I will not make a full end of you.
E será que quando disserdes: Por que o SENHOR nosso Deus fez conosco todas estas coisas? Então lhes dirás: Assim como vós me abandonastes e servistes a deuses estrangeiros em vossa terra, assim também servireis a estrangeiros numa terra que não é vossa.
Y será que cuando dijereis: ¿Por qué hizo Jehová el Dios nuestro con nosotros todas estas cosas? entonces les dirás: De la manera que me dejasteis á mí, y servisteis á dioses ajenos en vuestra tierra, así serviréis á extraños en tierra ajena.
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
It will happen when you say, ‘Why has the LORD our God done all these things to us?’ Then you shall say to them, ‘Just as you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’
Anunciai isto na casa de Jacó, e fazei com que isto se ouça em Judá, dizendo:
Denunciad esto en la casa de Jacob, y haced que esto se oiga en Judá, diciendo:
Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,

Ouvi agora isto, ó povo tolo e insensato, que têm olhos e não veem, que têm ouvidos e não ouvem:
Oid ahora esto, pueblo necio y sin corazón, que tienen ojos y no ven, que tienen oídos y no oyen:
Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
‘Hear this now, foolish people without understanding, who have eyes, and don’t see, who have ears, and don’t hear:
Por acaso não me temereis?diz o SENHOR; Não vos assombrareis perante mim, que pus a areia por limite ao mar por ordenança eterna, a qual não passará? Ainda que se levantarem suas ondas, mas elas não prevalecerão; ainda que bramem, não a passarão.
¿A mí no temeréis? dice Jehová; ¿no os amedrentaréis á mi presencia, que al mar por ordenación eterna, la cual no quebrantará, puse arena por término? Se levantarán tempestades, mas no prevalecerán; bramarán sus ondas, mas no lo pasarán.
Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

Porém este povo tem coração teimoso e rebelde; viraram-se, e se foram.

Nem sequer dizem em seu coração: Temamos agora ao SENHOR nosso Deus, que dá chuva temporã e tardia em seu tempo; os tempos estabelecidos da ceifa ele nos guarda.
Y no dijeron en su corazón: Temamos ahora á Jehová Dios nuestro, que da lluvia temprana y tardía en su tiempo; los tiempos establecidos de la siega nos guarda.
Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
They don’t say in their heart, ‘Let’s now fear the LORD our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season, who preserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.’
Vossas perversidades têm desviado estas coisas; e vossos pecados afastaram de vós o bem.
Vuestras iniquidades han estorbado estas cosas; y vuestros pecados apartaron de vosotros el bien.
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

Porque foram achados perversos em meu povo; eles espiavam como quem põe laços; puseram armadilhas para prenderem homens.

For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
For wicked men are found among my people. They watch, as fowlers lie in wait. They set a trap. They catch men.
Como uma gaiola cheia de pássaros, assim estão suas casas cheias de engano: assim eles se fizeram grandes e ricos.
Como jaula llena de pájaros, así están sus casas llenas de engaño: así se hicieron grandes y ricos.
As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.

Eles se engordaram e ficaram lustrosos, e ultrapassaram os limites das obras do mal; não julgam causa nenhuma, nem sequer a causa do órfão; porém fizeram-se prósperos; nem julgam o direito dos necessitados.
Engordaron y pusiéronse lustrosos, y sobrepujaron los hechos del malo: no juzgaron la causa, la causa del huérfano; con todo hiciéronse prósperos, y la causa de los pobres no juzgaron.
They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
They have grown fat. They shine; yes, they excel in deeds of wickedness. They don’t plead the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and they don’t defend the rights of the needy.
Por acaso eu não os puniria por causa disto? Diz o SENHOR; e de tal nação não se vingará minha alma?
¿No tengo de visitar sobre esto? dice Jehová; ¿y de tal gente no se vengará mi alma?
Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
“Shouldn’t I punish for these things?” says the LORD. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
Uma coisa espantosa e horrível está sendo feita na terra:
Cosa espantosa y fea es hecha en la tierra:
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
“An astonishing and horrible thing has happened in the land.
Os profetas profetizam falsamente, e os sacerdotes exercem liderança por suas próprias mãos; e meu povo assim o quer. Mas o que fareis quando isto chegar ao fim?
Los profetas profetizaron mentira, y los sacerdotes dirigían por manos de ellos; y mi pueblo así lo quiso. ¿Qué pues haréis á su fin?
