Jeremías 5

Streifet durch die Gassen Jerusalems und sehet doch nach und erkundigt euch und forschet nach auf ihren Plätzen, ob ihr einen Mann findet, ob einer da sei, der Recht übt und sich der Wahrhaftigkeit befleißigt; so will ich ihr vergeben! Aber wenn sie auch sagen:

DISCURRID por las plazas de Jerusalem, y mirad ahora, y sabed, y buscad en sus plazas si halláis hombre, si hay alguno que haga juicio, que busque verdad; y yo la perdonaré.

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

«So wahr der HERR lebt!» so schwören sie dennoch falsch.

Y si dijeren: Vive Jehová; por tanto jurarán mentira.

And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely.

Though they say, ‘As the LORD lives,’ surely they swear falsely.”

HERR, sehen deine Augen nicht auf Wahrhaftigkeit? Du hast sie geschlagen, aber es tat ihnen nicht weh; du hast sie fast aufgerieben, aber sie wollten keine Zucht annehmen; sie machten ihr Angesicht härter als Fels, sie wollten nicht umkehren!

Oh Jehová, ¿no miran tus ojos á la verdad? Azotástelos, y no les dolió; consumístelos, y no quisieron recibir corrección; endurecieron sus rostros más que la piedra, no quisieron tornarse.

O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

Ich aber dachte: Nur die Geringen sind so; sie benehmen sich so töricht, weil sie den Weg des HERRN, das Recht ihres Gottes nicht kennen.

Yo empero dije: Por cierto ellos son pobres, enloquecido han, pues no conocen el camino de Jehová, el juicio de su Dios.

Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.

Ich will doch zu den Großen gehen und mit ihnen reden; denn sie kennen den Weg des HERRN, das Recht ihres Gottes! Aber sie hatten allesamt das Joch zerbrochen, die Bande zerrissen.

Irme he á los grandes, y hablaréles; porque ellos conocen el camino de Jehová, el juicio de su Dios. Ciertamente ellos también quebraron el yugo, rompieron las coyundas.

I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.

I will go to the great men and will speak to them, for they know the way of the LORD, and the law of their God.” But these with one accord have broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.

Darum schlägt sie der Löwe aus dem Wald, überfällt sie der Steppenwolf; der Pardel lauert an ihren Städten, so daß, wer sie verläßt, zerrissen wird; denn ihrer Übertretungen sind viele, und groß sind ihre Abweichungen!

Por tanto, león del monte los herirá, destruirálos lobo del desierto, tigre acechará sobre sus ciudades; cualquiera que de ellas saliere, será arrebatado: porque sus rebeliones se han multiplicado, hanse aumentado sus deslealtades.

Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

Therefore a lion out of the forest will kill them. A wolf of the evenings will destroy them. A leopard will watch against their cities. Everyone who goes out there will be torn in pieces, because their transgressions are many and their backsliding has increased.

Wie wollte ich dir solches vergeben? Deine Kinder haben mich verlassen und bei Nichtgöttern geschworen; und nachdem ich sie gesättigt hatte, brachen sie die Ehe und drängten sich scharenweise ins Hurenhaus!

¿Cómo te he de perdonar por esto? Sus hijos me dejaron, y juraron por lo que no es Dios. Saciélos, y adulteraron, y en casa de ramera se juntaron en compañías.

How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.

Wie brünstige Hengste schweifen sie umher; jeder wiehert nach seines nächsten Eheweib.

Como caballos bien hartos fueron á la mañana, cada cual relinchaba á la mujer de su prójimo.

They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour’s wife.

Sollte ich solches ungestraft lassen, spricht der HERR, und sollte sich meine Seele an einem solchen Volke nicht rächen?

¿No había de hacer visitación sobre esto? dijo Jehová. De una gente como ésta ¿no se había de vengar mi alma?

Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Shouldn’t I punish them for these things?” says the LORD. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Besteiget ihre Mauern und verderbet, aber den Garaus machet nicht! Schneidet ihre Schosse ab; denn dem HERRN gehören sie nicht!

Escalad sus muros, y destruid; mas no hagáis consumación: quitad las almenas de sus muros, porque no son de Jehová.

Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD’s.

“Go up on her walls, and destroy, but don’t make a full end. Take away her branches, for they are not the LORD’s.

Denn gar treulos haben das Haus Israel und das Haus Juda an mir gehandelt, spricht der HERR.

Porque resueltamente se rebelaron contra mí la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá, dice Jehová.

For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.

Sie haben den HERRN verleugnet und gesagt: Nicht Er ist's! Kein Unglück wird über uns kommen; weder Schwert noch Hungersnot werden wir zu sehen bekommen!

Negaron á Jehová, y dijeron: El no es, y no vendrá mal sobre nosotros, ni veremos cuchillo ni hambre;

They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

They have denied the LORD, and said, “It is not he. Evil won’t come on us. We won’t see sword or famine.

Und die Propheten sind nur Windbeutel, und niemand redet durch sie; ihnen selbst ergehe es so!

Antes los profetas serán como viento, y no hay en ellos palabra; así se hará á ellos.

And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.

Darum spricht der HERR, der Gott der Heerscharen: Weil ihr das gesagt habt, siehe, so will ich meine Worte in deinem Munde zu einem Feuer und dieses Volk zu Holz machen, daß es sie verzehren soll.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová Dios de los ejércitos: Porque hablasteis esta palabra, he aquí yo pongo en tu boca mis palabras por fuego, y á este pueblo por leños, y los consumirá.

Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Therefore the LORD, the God of Armies says, “Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it will devour them.

Siehe, ich bringe über euch, du Haus Israel, ein Volk von ferne her (spricht der HERR), ein zähes Volk, ein uraltes Volk, ein Volk, dessen Sprache du nicht kennst und dessen Rede du nicht verstehst.

He aquí yo traigo sobre vosotros gente de lejos, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová; gente robusta, gente antigua, gente cuya lengua ignorarás, y no entenderás lo que hablare.

Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

Behold, I will bring a nation on you from far away, house of Israel,” says the LORD. “It is a mighty nation. It is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you don’t know and don’t understand what they say.

Sein Köcher ist wie ein offenes Grab; und aus lauter Helden besteht es.

Su aljaba como sepulcro abierto, todos valientes.

Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.

Es wird deine Ernte und dein Brot verzehren, deine Söhne und deine Töchter, deine Schafe und deine Rinder fressen; es wird deinen Weinstock und deinen Feigenbaum abfressen; und deine festen Städte, darauf du dich verlässest, wird es mit dem Schwerte erobern.

Y comerá tu mies y tu pan, que habían de comer tus hijos y tus hijas; comerá tus ovejas y tus vacas, comerá tus viñas y tus higueras; y tus ciudades fuertes en que tú confías, tornará en nada á cuchillo.

And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.

They will eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They will eat up your flocks and your herds. They will eat up your vines and your fig trees. They will beat down your fortified cities in which you trust with the sword.

Aber auch in jenen Tagen, spricht der HERR, will ich euch nicht den Garaus machen.

Empero en aquellos días, dice Jehová, no os acabaré del todo.

Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.

“But even in those days,” says the LORD, “I will not make a full end of you.

Und wenn es dann geschieht, daß ihr fragt: «Weshalb hat der HERR, unser Gott, uns das alles angetan?» so sollst du ihnen antworten: «Gleichwie ihr mich verlassen und in eurem Lande fremden Göttern gedient habt, so müßt ihr auch jetzt Fremden dienen in einem Lande, das nicht euch gehört!»

Y será que cuando dijereis: ¿Por qué hizo Jehová el Dios nuestro con nosotros todas estas cosas? entonces les dirás: De la manera que me dejasteis á mí, y servisteis á dioses ajenos en vuestra tierra, así serviréis á extraños en tierra ajena.

And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

It will happen when you say, ‘Why has the LORD our God done all these things to us?’ Then you shall say to them, ‘Just as you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’

Verkündiget solches im Hause Jakob und laßt es hören in Juda und sprechet:

Denunciad esto en la casa de Jacob, y haced que esto se oiga en Judá, diciendo:

Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,

“Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,

«Höre doch dies, du törichtes, unverständiges Volk, die ihr Augen habt und doch nicht seht, die ihr Ohren habt und doch nicht hört!»

Oid ahora esto, pueblo necio y sin corazón, que tienen ojos y no ven, que tienen oídos y no oyen:

Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

‘Hear this now, foolish people without understanding, who have eyes, and don’t see, who have ears, and don’t hear:

Mich wollt ihr nicht fürchten, spricht der HERR, vor mir nicht erzittern, der ich dem Meere den Sand zur Grenze gesetzt habe, zur ewigen Schranke, die es nicht überschreiten darf? Wenn sich seine Wogen auch dagegen auflehnen, so sind sie doch machtlos; wenn auch seine Wellen toben, können sie dieselben nicht überschreiten.

¿A mí no temeréis? dice Jehová; ¿no os amedrentaréis á mi presencia, que al mar por ordenación eterna, la cual no quebrantará, puse arena por término? Se levantarán tempestades, mas no prevalecerán; bramarán sus ondas, mas no lo pasarán.

Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

Don’t you fear me?’ says the LORD; ‘Won’t you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it can’t pass it? Though its waves toss themselves, yet they can’t prevail. Though they roar, they still can’t pass over it.’

Aber dieses Volk hat ein halsstarriges, aufrührerisches Herz; sie haben sich abgewandt und sind davongelaufen

Empero este pueblo tiene corazón falso y rebelde; tornáronse y fuéronse.

But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.

und haben in ihrem Herzen nicht gedacht: Wir wollen doch den HERRN, unsern Gott, fürchten, der den Regen gibt, Früh und Spätregen zu seiner Zeit, der die bestimmten Wochen der Ernte für uns einhält.

Y no dijeron en su corazón: Temamos ahora á Jehová Dios nuestro, que da lluvia temprana y tardía en su tiempo; los tiempos establecidos de la siega nos guarda.

Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

They don’t say in their heart, ‘Let’s now fear the LORD our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season, who preserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.’

Eure Missetaten haben diese Dinge abgelenkt, und eure Sünden haben den Segen von euch zurückgehalten.

Vuestras iniquidades han estorbado estas cosas; y vuestros pecados apartaron de vosotros el bien.

Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

Denn unter meinem Volke finden sich Gottlose; sie liegen auf der Lauer, ducken sich wie Vogelsteller; sie stellen Fallen, um Menschen zu fangen.

Porque fueron hallados en mi pueblo impíos; acechaban como quien pone lazos; pusieron trampa para tomar hombres.

For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.

For wicked men are found among my people. They watch, as fowlers lie in wait. They set a trap. They catch men.

Wie ein Käfig voller Vögel geworden ist, so haben sich ihre Häuser mit Betrug gefüllt; auf solche Weise sind sie groß und reich geworden!

Como jaula llena de pájaros, así están sus casas llenas de engaño: así se hicieron grandes y ricos.

As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.

Sie glänzen vor Fett; auch fließen sie über von bösen Reden. Für das Recht sorgen sie nicht, für das Recht der Waisen, um ihnen zum Siege zu verhelfen, und die Rechtssache der Armen führen sie nicht.

Engordaron y pusiéronse lustrosos, y sobrepujaron los hechos del malo: no juzgaron la causa, la causa del huérfano; con todo hiciéronse prósperos, y la causa de los pobres no juzgaron.

They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.

They have grown fat. They shine; yes, they excel in deeds of wickedness. They don’t plead the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and they don’t defend the rights of the needy.

Sollte ich solches ungestraft lassen? spricht der HERR. Sollte sich meine Seele an einem solchen Volke nicht rächen?

¿No tengo de visitar sobre esto? dice Jehová; ¿y de tal gente no se vengará mi alma?

Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

“Shouldn’t I punish for these things?” says the LORD. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Entsetzliches und Abscheuliches geschieht im Lande:

Cosa espantosa y fea es hecha en la tierra:

A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;

“An astonishing and horrible thing has happened in the land.

Die Propheten weissagen falsch, und die Priester herrschen mit ihrer Unterstützung; und mein Volk liebt es so! Was wollt ihr aber tun, wenn das Ende davon kommt?

Los profetas profetizaron mentira, y los sacerdotes dirigían por manos de ellos; y mi pueblo así lo quiso. ¿Qué pues haréis á su fin?

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
