Laß dich warnen, Jerusalem, damit mein Herz sich nicht von dir losreißt, damit ich dich nicht zur Wüste mache, zu einem unbewohnten Lande!«

Corrígete, Jerusalem, porque no se aparte mi alma de ti, porque no te torne desierta, tierra no habitada.

Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.

Be instructed, Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from you, lest I make you a desolation, an uninhabited land.”
