HUID, hijos de Benjamín, de en medio de Jerusalem, y tocad bocina en Tecoa, y alzad por señal humo sobre Beth-hacchêrem: porque del aquilón se ha visto mal, y quebrantamiento grande.
O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth-haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.
“Flee for safety, you children of Benjamin, out of the middle of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa and raise up a signal on Beth Haccherem, for evil looks out from the north with a great destruction.
J’avais rendu la fille de Sion semblable à une femme qui ne bouge point de la maison, et qui est délicate.
A mujer hermosa y delicada comparé á la hija de Sión.
I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
I will cut off the beautiful and delicate one, the daughter of Zion.
Les pasteurs avec leurs troupeaux viendront contre elles, ils planteront leurs tentes autour d’elle, chacun paîtra en son quartier.
A ella vendrán pastores y sus rebaños; junto á ella en derredor pondrán sus tiendas; cada uno apacentará á su parte.
The shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.

Préparez le combat contre elle, levez-vous, et montons en plein midi. Malheur à nous, car le jour décline, et les ombres du soir s’accroissent.
Denunciad guerra contra ella: levantaos y subamos hacia el mediodía. ¡Ay de nosotros! que va cayendo ya el día, que las sombras de la tarde se han extendido.
Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.

Levez-vous, montons de nuit, et ruinons ses palais.
Levantaos, y subamos de noche, y destruyamos sus palacios.
Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces.

Car ainsi a dit l’Eternel des armées : coupez des arbres, et dressez des terrasses contre Jérusalem ; c’est la ville qui doit être visitée, elle n’est tout entière que rapine au dedans.
Porque así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Cortad árboles, y extended baluarte junto á Jerusalem: esta es la ciudad que toda ella ha de ser visitada; violencia hay en medio de ella.
For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.

Comme le puits fait bouillonner ses eaux, ainsi elle fait bouillonner sa malice ; on n’entend en elle devant moi continuellement que violence et que dégât, avec des maladies et des plaies.
Como la fuente nunca cesa de manar sus aguas, así nunca cesa de manar su malicia; injusticia y robo se oye en ella; continuamente en mi presencia, enfermedad y herida.
As a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually is grief and wounds.
As a well produces its waters, so she produces her wickedness. Violence and destruction is heard in her. Sickness and wounds are continually before me.
Jérusalem, reçois instruction, de peur que mon affection ne se retire de toi, et que je ne fasse de toi un désert, et une terre inhabitable.
Corrígete, Jerusalem, porque no se aparte mi alma de ti, porque no te torne desierta, tierra no habitada.
Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel des armées : on grappillera entièrement comme une vigne les restes d’Israël ; remets ta main dans les paniers comme un vendangeur.
Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Del todo rebuscarán como á vid el resto de Israel: torna tu mano como vendimiador á los cestos.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.
The LORD of Armies says, “They will thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel like a vine. Turn again your hand as a grape gatherer into the baskets.”
A qui parlerai-je, et qui sommerai-je, afin qu’ils écoutent ? voici, leur oreille est incirconcise, et ils ne peuvent entendre ; voici, la parole de l’Eternel leur est en opprobre, ils n’y prennent point de plaisir.
¿A quién tengo de hablar y amonestar, para que oigan? He aquí que sus orejas son incircuncisas, y no pueden escuchar; he aquí que la palabra de Jehová les es cosa vergonzosa, no la aman.
To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
To whom should I speak and testify, that they may hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they can’t listen. Behold, the LORD’s word has become a reproach to them. They have no delight in it.
C’est pourquoi je suis plein de la fureur de l’Eternel, et je suis las de la retenir, de sorte que je la répandrai sur les enfants par la rue, et sur l’assemblée des jeunes gens, même le mari sera pris avec la femme, et l’homme âgé avec celui qui est rassasié de jours.
Por tanto estoy lleno de saña de Jehová, trabajado he por contenerme; derramaréla sobre los niños en la calle, y sobre la reunión de los jóvenes juntamente; porque el marido también será preso con la mujer, el viejo con el lleno de días.
Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.

Et leurs maisons retourneront aux étrangers, les champs, et les femmes aussi ; car j’étendrai ma main sur les habitants du pays, dit l’Eternel.
Y sus casas serán traspasadas á otros, sus heredades y también sus mujeres; porque extenderé mi mano sobre los moradores de la tierra, dice Jehová.
And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.

Parce que depuis le plus petit d’entre eux jusques au plus grand, chacun s’adonne au gain déshonnête, tant le Prophète que le Sacrificateur, tous se portent faussement.
Porque desde el más chico de ellos hasta el más grande de ellos, cada uno sigue la avaricia; y desde el profeta hasta el sacerdote, todos son engañadores.
For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

Et ils ont pansé la froissure de la fille de mon peuple à la légère, disant : paix, paix ; et il n’y avait point de paix.
Y curan el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo con liviandad, diciendo, Paz, paz; y no hay paz.
They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
They have healed also the hurt of my people superficially, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ when there is no peace.
Ont-ils été confus de ce qu’ils ont commis des abominations ? Ils n’en ont même eu aucune honte, et ils ne savent ce que c’est que de rougir ; c’est pourquoi ils tomberont sur ceux qui seront tombés, ils tomberont au temps que je les visiterai, a dit l’Eternel.
¿Hanse avergonzado de haber hecho abominación? No por cierto, no se han avergonzado, ni aun saben tener vergüenza: por tanto caerán entre los que caerán; caerán cuando los visitaré, dice Jehová.
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush. Therefore they will fall among those who fall. When I visit them, they will be cast down,” says the LORD.
Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : tenez-vous sur les chemins, et regardez, et vous enquérez touchant les sentiers des siècles passés, quel est le bon chemin, et marchez-y, et vous trouverez le repos de vos âmes ; et ils ont répondu : nous n’y marcherons point.
Así dijo Jehová: Paraos en los caminos, y mirad, y preguntad por las sendas antiguas, cuál sea el buen camino, y andad por él, y hallaréis descanso para vuestra alma. Mas dijeron: No andaremos.
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
The LORD says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
J’avais aussi établi sur vous des sentinelles qui disent : soyez attentifs au son de la trompette ; mais on a répondu : nous n’y serons point attentifs.
Desperté también sobre vosotros atalayas, que dijesen: Escuchad á la voz de la trompeta. Y dijeron ellos: No escucharemos.
Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Vous donc, nations, écoutez, et toi Assemblée, connais ce qui est entre eux.
Por tanto oid, gentes, y conoce, oh conjunto de ellas.

Ecoute, terre : voici, je m’en vais faire venir un mal sur ce peuple, savoir le fruit de leurs pensées, parce qu’ils n’ont point été attentifs à mes paroles, et qu’ils ont rejeté ma Loi.
Oye, tierra. He aquí yo traigo mal sobre este pueblo, el fruto de sus pensamientos; porque no escucharon á mis palabras, y aborrecieron mi ley.
Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
Hear, earth! Behold, I will bring evil on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.
Pourquoi m’offrir de l’encens venu de Seba, et le bon roseau aromatique du pays éloigné ? vos holocaustes ne me plaisent point, et vos sacrifices ne me sont point agréables.
¿A qué viene para mí este incienso de Seba, y la buena caña olorosa de tierra lejana? Vuestros holocaustos no son á mi voluntad, ni vuestros sacrificios me dan gusto.
To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.
To what purpose does frankincense from Sheba come to me, and the sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, and your sacrifices are not pleasing to me.”
C’est pourquoi ainsi a dit l’Eternel : voici, je m’en vais mettre en ce peuple des achoppements, auxquels les pères et les enfants, le voisin et son compagnon heurteront ensemble, et ils périront.
Por tanto Jehová dice esto: He aquí yo pongo á este pueblo tropiezos, y caerán en ellos los padres y los hijos juntamente, el vecino y su cercano perecerán.
Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
Therefore the LORD says, “Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people. The fathers and the sons together will stumble against them. The neighbor and his friend will perish.”
Ainsi a dit l’Eternel : voici, un peuple vient du pays de l’Aquilon, et une grande nation se réveillera du fond de la terre.
Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que viene pueblo de tierra del aquilón, y gente grande se levantará de los cantones de la tierra.
Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth.
The LORD says, “Behold, a people comes from the north country. A great nation will be stirred up from the uttermost parts of the earth.
Ils prendront l’arc et l’étendard ; ils seront cruels, et n’auront point de compassion ; leur voix bruira comme la mer, et ils seront montés sur des chevaux, chacun d’eux est rangé en homme de guerre contre toi, fille de Sion !
Arco y escudo arrebatarán; crueles son, que no tendrán misericordia; sonará la voz de ellos como la mar, y montarán á caballo como hombres dispuestos para la guerra, contra ti, oh hija de Sión.
They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion.

En aurons-nous ouï le bruit ? nos mains en deviendront lâches ; l’angoisse nous saisira, et un travail comme de celle qui enfante.
Su fama oimos, y nuestras manos se descoyuntaron; apoderóse de nosotros angustia, dolor como de mujer que pare.
We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
We have heard its report. Our hands become feeble. Anguish has taken hold of us, and pains as of a woman in labor.
Ne sortez point aux champs, et n’allez point par le chemin, car l’épée de l’ennemi et la frayeur est tout à l’entour.
No salgas al campo, ni andes por camino; porque espada de enemigo y temor hay por todas partes.
Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side.
Don’t go out into the field or walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and terror are on every side.
Fille de mon peuple, ceins-toi d’un sac, et te vautre dans la cendre ; mène deuil comme sur un fils unique, et fais une lamentation très-amère, car le destructeur viendra subitement sur nous.
Hija de mi pueblo, cíñete de saco, y revuélcate en ceniza; hazte luto como por hijo único, llanto de amarguras: porque presto vendrá sobre nosotros el destruidor.
O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.
Daughter of my people, clothe yourself with sackcloth, and wallow in ashes! Mourn, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation, for the destroyer will suddenly come on us.
Je t’ai établi comme une place forte et une forteresse au milieu de mon peuple, afin que tu connaisses et sondes leur voie.
Por fortaleza te he puesto en mi pueblo, por torre: conocerás pues, y examinarás el camino de ellos.
I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way.
“I have made you a tester of metals and a fortress among my people, that you may know and try their way.
Ils sont tous revêches, et plus que revêches, et ils vont médisant ; ils sont comme de l’airain, et du fer ; ils sont tous des gens qui se perdent l’un l’autre.
Todos ellos príncipes rebeldes, andan con engaño; son cobre y hierro: todos ellos son corruptores.
They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.
They are all grievous rebels, going around to slander. They are bronze and iron. All of them deal corruptly.
Le soufflet est brûlé, le plomb est consumé par le feu, le fondeur a fondu en vain, car les mauvais n’ont point été séparés.
Quemóse el fuelle, del fuego se ha consumido el plomo: por demás fundió el fundidor, pues los malos no son arrancados.
The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.
The bellows blow fiercely. The lead is consumed in the fire. In vain they go on refining, for the wicked are not plucked away.
On les appellera : Argent réprouvé ; car l’Eternel les a réprouvés.
Plata desechada los llamarán, porque Jehová los desechó.
Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.
Men will call them rejected silver, because the LORD has rejected them.”
