Jeremías 6

Fuyez, fils de Benjamin, du milieu de Jérusalem! Sonnez la trompette à Tecoa! Arborez des signaux à Beth-Kérém! Car du côté du Nord apparaît la catastrophe, le grand désastre.

HUID, hijos de Benjamín, de en medio de Jerusalem, y tocad bocina en Tecoa, y alzad por señal humo sobre Beth-hacchêrem: porque del aquilón se ha visto mal, y quebrantamiento grande.

O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth-haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.

“Flee for safety, you children of Benjamin, out of the middle of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa and raise up a signal on Beth Haccherem, for evil looks out from the north with a great destruction.

Bellé, éprise de plaisirs, je la réduis en ruines, la fille de Sion!

A mujer hermosa y delicada comparé á la hija de Sión.

I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.

I will cut off the beautiful and delicate one, the daughter of Zion.

Vers elle s'avancent des bergers avec leurs troupeaux; ils plantent leurs tentes tout autour d'elle, chacun broutant la place qu'il occupe.

A ella vendrán pastores y sus rebaños; junto á ella en derredor pondrán sus tiendas; cada uno apacentará á su parte.

The shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.

Shepherds with their flocks will come to her. They will pitch their tents against her all around. They will feed everyone in his place.”

"Engagez l'attaque contre elle! Debout! Donnons l'assaut en plein jour. Hélas! Déjà le jour décline et les ombres du soir s'allongent.

Denunciad guerra contra ella: levantaos y subamos hacia el mediodía. ¡Ay de nosotros! que va cayendo ya el día, que las sombras de la tarde se han extendido.

Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.

“Prepare war against her! Arise! Let’s go up at noon. Woe to us! For the day declines, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.

Debout! Donnons l'assaut de nuit! Détruisons ses palais!"

Levantaos, y subamos de noche, y destruyamos sus palacios.

Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces.

Arise! Let’s go up by night, and let’s destroy her palaces.”

Oui, ainsi parle l'Eternel-Cebaot: "Taillez des charpentes, élevez des remblais contre Jérusalem; c'est bien cette ville qui doit être châtiée: tout, chez elle, est iniquité.

Porque así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Cortad árboles, y extended baluarte junto á Jerusalem: esta es la ciudad que toda ella ha de ser visitada; violencia hay en medio de ella.

For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.

For the LORD of Armies said, “Cut down trees, and cast up a mound against Jerusalem. This is the city to be visited. She is filled with oppression within herself.

Comme une source laisse jaillir ses eaux, ainsi elle laisse jaillir sa perversité; on n'y entend que violence et oppression, mes yeux n'y voient que souffrances et sévices.

Como la fuente nunca cesa de manar sus aguas, así nunca cesa de manar su malicia; injusticia y robo se oye en ella; continuamente en mi presencia, enfermedad y herida.

As a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually is grief and wounds.

As a well produces its waters, so she produces her wickedness. Violence and destruction is heard in her. Sickness and wounds are continually before me.

Corrige-toi, Jérusalem, sans cela mon âme se détachera de toi; sans cela je ferai de toi une solitude, une terre inhabitée."

Corrígete, Jerusalem, porque no se aparte mi alma de ti, porque no te torne desierta, tierra no habitada.

Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.

Be instructed, Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from you, lest I make you a desolation, an uninhabited land.”

Ainsi parle l'Eternel-Cebaôt: "Les restes d'Israël seront grappillés jusqu'au bout comme une vigne: passe et repasse ta main comme le vendangeur †fouille les sarments."

Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Del todo rebuscarán como á vid el resto de Israel: torna tu mano como vendimiador á los cestos.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.

The LORD of Armies says, “They will thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel like a vine. Turn again your hand as a grape gatherer into the baskets.”

A qui parlerai-je? Qui adjurer, pour qu'on écoute? Voici, leur oreille est bouchée comme par une excroissance, ils ne peuvent prêter d'attention; voici, la parole de l'Eternel est devenue pour eux un objet de mépris, ils n'y prennent aucun goût.

¿A quién tengo de hablar y amonestar, para que oigan? He aquí que sus orejas son incircuncisas, y no pueden escuchar; he aquí que la palabra de Jehová les es cosa vergonzosa, no la aman.

To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

To whom should I speak and testify, that they may hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they can’t listen. Behold, the LORD’s word has become a reproach to them. They have no delight in it.

Mais moi, je déborde de la colère de l'Eternel, je suis impuissant à la contenir:Répands-la donc sur les enfants dans les rues, sur les groupes de jeunes gens assemblés; car hommes et femmes, anciens et vieillards rassasiés de jours, tous seront capturés.

Por tanto estoy lleno de saña de Jehová, trabajado he por contenerme; derramaréla sobre los niños en la calle, y sobre la reunión de los jóvenes juntamente; porque el marido también será preso con la mujer, el viejo con el lleno de días.

Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.

Therefore I am full of the LORD’s wrath. I am weary with holding it in. “Pour it out on the children in the street, and on the assembly of young men together; for even the husband with the wife will be taken, the aged with him who is full of days.

Leurs maisons passeront à d'autres, ainsi que leurs champs et leurs femmes, tout à la fois; car je vais étendre ma main sur les habitants de ce pays, dit l'Eternel.

Y sus casas serán traspasadas á otros, sus heredades y también sus mujeres; porque extenderé mi mano sobre los moradores de la tierra, dice Jehová.

And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.

Their houses will be turned to others, their fields and their wives together; for I will stretch out my hand on the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD.”

C'est que du petit au grand, ils sont tous âpres au gain; depuis le prophète jusqu'au prêtre, tous ils pratiquent le mensonge.

Porque desde el más chico de ellos hasta el más grande de ellos, cada uno sigue la avaricia; y desde el profeta hasta el sacerdote, todos son engañadores.

For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

“For from their least even to their greatest, everyone is given to covetousness. From the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely.

Ils prétendent guérir le désastre de mon peuple avec des paroles futiles, en disant: "Paix! Paix!" alors qu'il n'y a point de paix.

Y curan el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo con liviandad, diciendo, Paz, paz; y no hay paz.

They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

They have healed also the hurt of my people superficially, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ when there is no peace.

Ils devraient avoir honte des abominations commises par eux; mais ils n'ont plus aucune pudeur, mais ils ne savent plus rougir. Aussi succomberont-ils avec ceux qui succombent à l'heure où j'aurai à les châtier, ils trébucheront, dit l'Eternel.

¿Hanse avergonzado de haber hecho abominación? No por cierto, no se han avergonzado, ni aun saben tener vergüenza: por tanto caerán entre los que caerán; caerán cuando los visitaré, dice Jehová.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush. Therefore they will fall among those who fall. When I visit them, they will be cast down,” says the LORD.

Ainsi parle le Seigneur: "Postez-vous sur les routes et regardez, demandez aux sentiers des temps antiques où est le chemin du bonheur. Suivez-le, afin d'y trouver quelque apaisement pour vos âmes! Mais ils ripostent: "Nous ne le suivrons pas."

Así dijo Jehová: Paraos en los caminos, y mirad, y preguntad por las sendas antiguas, cuál sea el buen camino, y andad por él, y hallaréis descanso para vuestra alma. Mas dijeron: No andaremos.

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

The LORD says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

J'ai établi près de vous des sentinelles: "Attention aux sons de la trompette! " Ils ont répondu: "Nous ne ferons pas attention."

Desperté también sobre vosotros atalayas, que dijesen: Escuchad á la voz de la trompeta. Y dijeron ellos: No escucharemos.

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not listen!’

Donc écoutez, ô peuples! Apprends, ô assemblée, ce qui les attend!

Por tanto oid, gentes, y conoce, oh conjunto de ellas.

Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.

Ecoute, ô terre! Je ferai fondre sur ce peuple une calamité, qui est le fruit de leurs †mauvais desseins. car il n'a prêté nulle attention à mes paroles, et mon enseignement, il l'a rejeté.

Oye, tierra. He aquí yo traigo mal sobre este pueblo, el fruto de sus pensamientos; porque no escucharon á mis palabras, y aborrecieron mi ley.

Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

Hear, earth! Behold, I will bring evil on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.

A quoi me sert l'encens venu de Saba, et la canne exquise des pays lointains? Vos holocaustes ne me plaisent pas, vos sacrifices n'ont pas d'agrément pour moi.

¿A qué viene para mí este incienso de Seba, y la buena caña olorosa de tierra lejana? Vuestros holocaustos no son á mi voluntad, ni vuestros sacrificios me dan gusto.

To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

To what purpose does frankincense from Sheba come to me, and the sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, and your sacrifices are not pleasing to me.”

C'est pourquoi, déclare l'Eternel, je vais dresser contre ce peuple des embûches; ensemble, parents et enfants s'y heurteront, voisins et amis y périront.

Por tanto Jehová dice esto: He aquí yo pongo á este pueblo tropiezos, y caerán en ellos los padres y los hijos juntamente, el vecino y su cercano perecerán.

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Therefore the LORD says, “Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people. The fathers and the sons together will stumble against them. The neighbor and his friend will perish.”

Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Voici, une nation arrive des contrées du Nord, un grand peuple surgit des extrémités de la terre.

Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que viene pueblo de tierra del aquilón, y gente grande se levantará de los cantones de la tierra.

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth.

The LORD says, “Behold, a people comes from the north country. A great nation will be stirred up from the uttermost parts of the earth.

Il est armé d'arcs et de lances; il est cruel et sans pitié; sa voix est mugissante comme la mer, il est monté sur des chevaux, rangé en bataille contre toi comme des braves, ô fille de Sion.

Arco y escudo arrebatarán; crueles son, que no tendrán misericordia; sonará la voz de ellos como la mar, y montarán á caballo como hombres dispuestos para la guerra, contra ti, oh hija de Sión.

They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion.

They take hold of bow and spear. They are cruel, and have no mercy. Their voice roars like the sea, and they ride on horses, everyone set in array, as a man to the battle, against you, daughter of Zion.”

Sa renommée est arrivée jusqu'à nous, et nos mains sont devenues défaillantes, l'effroi s'est emparé de nous, une angoisse comme celle d'une femme qui enfante.

Su fama oimos, y nuestras manos se descoyuntaron; apoderóse de nosotros angustia, dolor como de mujer que pare.

We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

We have heard its report. Our hands become feeble. Anguish has taken hold of us, and pains as of a woman in labor.

Ne sortez pas dans les champs, ne vous avancez pas sur les routes, car l'ennemi est en armes, la terreur règne aux alentours.

No salgas al campo, ni andes por camino; porque espada de enemigo y temor hay por todas partes.

Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side.

Don’t go out into the field or walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and terror are on every side.

Fille de mon peuple! Ceins-toi d'un cilice, roule-toi dans la cendre, organisa un deuil comme pour un fils unique, d'amères complaintes; car soudainement l'envahisseur fondra sur nous.

Hija de mi pueblo, cíñete de saco, y revuélcate en ceniza; hazte luto como por hijo único, llanto de amarguras: porque presto vendrá sobre nosotros el destruidor.

O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.

Daughter of my people, clothe yourself with sackcloth, and wallow in ashes! Mourn, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation, for the destroyer will suddenly come on us.

Tel qu'une tour d'observation, je t'ai établi au milieu de mon peuple, tel qu'une citadelle, afin que tu connaisses et apprécies leurs voies.

Por fortaleza te he puesto en mi pueblo, por torre: conocerás pues, y examinarás el camino de ellos.

I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way.

“I have made you a tester of metals and a fortress among my people, that you may know and try their way.

Tous sont d'incorrigibles rebelles, propagateurs de calomnies, †durs comme l'airain et le fer; tous sont malfaisants.

Todos ellos príncipes rebeldes, andan con engaño; son cobre y hierro: todos ellos son corruptores.

They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.

They are all grievous rebels, going around to slander. They are bronze and iron. All of them deal corruptly.

Le soufflet da forge a soufflé ; par l'action du feu, le plomb devait disparaître; mais vainement on a fondu et refondu, les scories ne se sont pas détachées.

Quemóse el fuelle, del fuego se ha consumido el plomo: por demás fundió el fundidor, pues los malos no son arrancados.

The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.

The bellows blow fiercely. The lead is consumed in the fire. In vain they go on refining, for the wicked are not plucked away.

On les a appelés "argent de rebut," car l'Eternel les a mis au rebut.

Plata desechada los llamarán, porque Jehová los desechó.

Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

Men will call them rejected silver, because the LORD has rejected them.”
