Tonditi la chioma, o Gerusalemme, e gittala via; prendi a far lamento sopra i luoghi elevati; perciocchè il Signore ha riprovata, ed abbandonata la generazione del suo cruccio.

Trasquila tu cabello, y arrójalo, y levanta llanto sobre las alturas; porque Jehová ha aborrecido y dejado la nación de su ira.

Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
