se pararem de explorar os estrangeiros, os órfãos e as viúvas, se não derramarem sangue inocente neste lugar e se deixarem de adorar falsos deuses como fazem hoje, para sua própria desgraça.

Ni oprimiereis al peregrino, al huérfano, y á la viuda, ni en este lugar derramareis la sangre inocente, ni anduviereis en pos de dioses ajenos para mal vuestro;

If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:
