Jeremías 7

La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l’Éternel, en ces mots:

PALABRA que fué de Jehová á Jeremías, diciendo:

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

Place-toi à la porte de la maison de l’Éternel, Et là publie cette parole, Et dis: Écoutez la parole de l’Éternel, Vous tous, hommes de Juda, qui entrez par ces portes, Pour vous prosterner devant l’Éternel!

Ponte á la puerta de la casa de Jehová, y predica allí esta palabra, y di: Oid palabra de Jehová, todo Judá, los que entráis por estas puertas para adorar á Jehová.

Stand in the gate of the LORD’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

“Stand in the gate of the LORD’s house, and proclaim this word there, and say, ‘Hear the LORD’s word, all you of Judah, who enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.’”

Ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël: Réformez vos voies et vos œuvres, Et je vous laisserai demeurer dans ce lieu.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Mejorad vuestros caminos y vuestras obras, y os haré morar en este lugar.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says, “Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Ne vous livrez pas à des espérances trompeuses, en disant: C’est ici le temple de l’Éternel, le temple de l’Éternel, Le temple de l’Éternel!

No fiéis en palabras de mentira, diciendo: Templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová es éste.

Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

Don’t trust in lying words, saying, ‘The LORD’s temple, the LORD’s temple, the LORD’s temple, are these.’

Si vous réformez vos voies et vos œuvres, Si vous pratiquez la justice envers les uns et les autres,

Mas si mejorareis cumplidamente vuestros caminos y vuestras obras; si con exactitud hiciereis derecho entre el hombre y su prójimo,

For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor;

Si vous n’opprimez pas l’étranger, l’orphelin et la veuve, Si vous ne répandez pas en ce lieu le sang innocent, Et si vous n’allez pas après d’autres dieux, pour votre malheur,

Ni oprimiereis al peregrino, al huérfano, y á la viuda, ni en este lugar derramareis la sangre inocente, ni anduviereis en pos de dioses ajenos para mal vuestro;

If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt,

Alors je vous laisserai demeurer dans ce lieu, Dans le pays que j’ai donné à vos pères, D’éternité en éternité.

Os haré morar en este lugar, en la tierra que dí á vuestros padres para siempre.

Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

Mais voici, vous vous livrez à des espérances trompeuses, Qui ne servent à rien.

He aquí vosotros os confiáis en palabras de mentira, que no aprovechan.

Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

Quoi! Dérober, tuer, commettre des adultères, Jurer faussement, offrir de l’encens à Baal, Aller après d’autres dieux que vous ne connaissez pas!…

¿Hurtando, matando, y adulterando, y jurando falso, é incensando á Baal, y andando tras dioses extraños que no conocisteis,

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known,

Puis vous venez vous présenter devant moi, Dans cette maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué, Et vous dites: Nous sommes délivrés!… Et c’est afin de commettre toutes ces abominations!

Vendréis y os pondréis delante de mí en esta casa sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre, y diréis: Librados somos: para hacer todas estas abominaciones?

And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Est-elle à vos yeux une caverne de voleurs, Cette maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué? Je le vois moi-même, dit l’Éternel.

¿Es cueva de ladrones delante de vuestros ojos esta casa, sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre? He aquí que también yo veo, dice Jehová.

Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

Allez donc au lieu qui m’était consacré à Silo, Où j’avais fait autrefois résider mon nom. Et voyez comment je l’ai traité, A cause de la méchanceté de mon peuple d’Israël.

Andad empero ahora á mi lugar que fué en Silo, donde hice que morase mi nombre al principio, y ved lo que le hice por la maldad de mi pueblo Israel.

But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

Et maintenant, puisque vous avez commis toutes ces actions, Dit l’Éternel, Puisque je vous ai parlé dès le matin et que vous n’avez pas écouté, Puisque je vous ai appelés et que vous n’avez pas répondu,

Ahora pues, por cuanto habéis vosotros hecho todas estas obras, dice Jehová, y bien que os hablé, madrugando para hablar, no oísteis, y os llamé, y no respondisteis;

And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

Now, because you have done all these works,” says the LORD, “and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you didn’t hear; and I called you, but you didn’t answer;

Je traiterai la maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué, Sur laquelle vous faites reposer votre confiance, Et le lieu que j’ai donné à vous et à vos pères, De la même manière que j’ai traité Silo;

Haré también á esta casa sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre, en la que vosotros confiáis, y á este lugar que dí á vosotros y á vuestros padres, como hice á Silo:

Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by my name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

Et je vous rejetterai loin de ma face, Comme j’ai rejeté tous vos frères, Toute la postérité d’Éphraïm.

Que os echaré de mi presencia como eché á todos vuestros hermanos, á toda la generación de Ephraim.

And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

Et toi, n’intercède pas en faveur de ce peuple, N’élève pour eux ni supplications ni prières, Ne fais pas des instances auprès de moi; Car je ne t’écouterai pas.

Tú pues, no ores por este pueblo, ni levantes por ellos clamor ni oración, ni me ruegues; porque no te oiré.

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

“Therefore don’t pray for this people. Don’t lift up a cry or prayer for them or make intercession to me; for I will not hear you.

Ne vois-tu pas ce qu’ils font dans les villes de Juda Et dans les rues de Jérusalem?

¿No ves lo que estos hacen en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem?

Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Don’t you see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Les enfants ramassent du bois, Les pères allument le feu, Et les femmes pétrissent la pâte, Pour préparer des gâteaux à la reine du ciel, Et pour faire des libations à d’autres dieux, Afin de m’irriter.

Los hijos cogen la leña, y los padres encienden el fuego, y las mujeres amasan la masa, para hacer tortas á la reina del cielo y para hacer ofrendas á dioses ajenos, por provocarme á ira.

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

Est-ce moi qu’ils irritent? Dit l’Éternel; N’est-ce pas eux-mêmes, A leur propre confusion?

¿Provocaránme ellos á ira, dice Jehová, y no más bien obran ellos mismos para confusión de sus rostros?

Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

C’est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Voici, ma colère et ma fureur se répandent sur ce lieu, Sur les hommes et sur les bêtes, Sur les arbres des champs et sur les fruits de la terre; Elle brûlera, et ne s’éteindra point.

Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí que mi furor y mi ira se derrama sobre este lugar, sobre los hombres, sobre los animales, y sobre los árboles del campo, y sobre los frutos de la tierra; y encenderáse, y no se apagará.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man, on animal, on the trees of the field, and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and will not be quenched.”

Ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël: Ajoutez vos holocaustes à vos sacrifices, Et mangez-en la chair!

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Añadid vuestros holocaustos sobre vuestros sacrificios, y comed carne.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat.

Car je n’ai point parlé avec vos pères et je ne leur ai donné aucun ordre, Le jour où je les ai fait sortir du pays d’Égypte, Au sujet des holocaustes et des sacrifices.

Porque no hablé yo con vuestros padres, ni les mandé el día que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, acerca de holocaustos y de víctimas:

For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

For I didn’t speak to your fathers or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices;

Mais voici l’ordre que je leur ai donné: Écoutez ma voix, Et je serai votre Dieu, Et vous serez mon peuple; Marchez dans toutes les voies que je vous prescris, Afin que vous soyez heureux.

Mas esto les mandé, diciendo: Escuchad mi voz, y seré á vosotros por Dios, y vosotros me seréis por pueblo; y andad en todo camino que os mandare, para que os vaya bien.

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

but this thing I commanded them, saying, ‘Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. Walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

Et ils n’ont point écouté, ils n’ont point prêté l’oreille; Ils ont suivi les conseils, les penchants de leur mauvais cœur, Ils ont été en arrière et non en avant.

Y no oyeron ni inclinaron su oído; antes caminaron en sus consejos, en la dureza de su corazón malvado, y fueron hacia atrás y no hacia adelante,

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

But they didn’t listen or turn their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Depuis le jour où vos pères sont sortis du pays d’Égypte, Jusqu’à ce jour, Je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs, les prophètes, Je les ai envoyés chaque jour, dès le matin.

Desde el día que vuestros padres salieron de la tierra de Egipto hasta hoy. Y os envié á todos los profetas mis siervos, cada día madrugando y enviándolos:

Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

Mais ils ne m’ont point écouté, ils n’ont point prêté l’oreille; Ils ont raidi leur cou, Ils ont fait le mal plus que leurs pères.

Mas no me oyeron ni inclinaron su oído; antes endurecieron su cerviz, é hicieron peor que sus padres.

Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

Yet they didn’t listen to me or incline their ear, but made their neck stiff. They did worse than their fathers.

Si tu leur dis toutes ces choses, ils ne t’écouteront pas; Si tu cries vers eux, ils ne te répondront pas.

Tú pues les dirás todas estas palabras, mas no te oirán; aun los llamarás, y no te responderán.

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

“You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.

Alors dis-leur: C’est ici la nation qui n’écoute pas la voix de l’Éternel, son Dieu, Et qui ne veut pas recevoir instruction; La vérité a disparu, elle s’est retirée de leur bouche.

Les dirás por tanto: Esta es la gente que no escuchó la voz de Jehová su Dios, ni tomó corrección; perdióse la fe, y de la boca de ellos fué cortada.

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

You shall tell them, ‘This is the nation that has not listened to the LORD their God’s voice, nor received instruction. Truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth.’

Coupe ta chevelure, et jette-la au loin; Monte sur les hauteurs, et prononce une complainte! Car l’Éternel rejette Et repousse la génération qui a provoqué sa fureur.

Trasquila tu cabello, y arrójalo, y levanta llanto sobre las alturas; porque Jehová ha aborrecido y dejado la nación de su ira.

Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

Car les enfants de Juda ont fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux, Dit l’Éternel; Ils ont placé leurs abominations Dans la maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué, Afin de la souiller.

Porque los hijos de Judá han hecho lo malo ante mis ojos, dice Jehová; pusieron sus abominaciones en la casa sobre la cual mi nombre fué invocado, amancillándola.

For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

“For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight,” says the LORD. “They have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

Ils ont bâti des hauts lieux à Topheth dans la vallée de Ben-Hinnom, Pour brûler au feu leurs fils et leurs filles: Ce que je n’avais point ordonné, Ce qui ne m’était point venu à la pensée.

Y han edificado los altos de Topheth, que es en el valle del hijo de Hinnom, para quemar al fuego sus hijos y sus hijas, cosa que yo no les mandé, ni subió en mi corazón.

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I didn’t command, nor did it come into my mind.

C’est pourquoi voici, les jours viennent, dit l’Éternel, Où l’on ne dira plus Topheth et la vallée de Ben-Hinnom, Mais où l’on dira la vallée du carnage; Et l’on enterrera les morts à Topheth par défaut de place.

Por tanto, he aquí vendrán días, ha dicho Jehová, que no se diga más, Topheth, ni valle del hijo de Hinnom, sino Valle de la Matanza; y serán enterrados en Topheth, por no haber lugar.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

Therefore behold, the days come”, says the LORD, “that it will no more be called ‘Topheth’ or ‘The valley of the son of Hinnom’, but ‘The valley of Slaughter’; for they will bury in Topheth until there is no place to bury.

Les cadavres de ce peuple seront la pâture Des oiseaux du ciel et des bêtes de la terre; Et il n’y aura personne pour les troubler.

Y serán los cuerpos muertos de este pueblo para comida de las aves del cielo y de las bestias de la tierra; y no habrá quien las espante.

And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

The dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth. No one will frighten them away.

Je ferai cesser dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem Les cris de réjouissance et les cris d’allégresse, Les chants du fiancé et les chants de la fiancée; Car le pays sera un désert.

Y haré cesar de las ciudades de Judá, y de la calles de Jerusalem, voz de gozo y voz de alegría, voz de esposo y voz de esposa; porque la tierra será en desolación.

Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land will become a waste.”
