Jeremías 7

Parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Eternel comme suit:

PALABRA que fué de Jehová á Jeremías, diciendo:

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

"Place-toi à la porte de la maison de l'Eternel, et prononce là le discours que voici en disant:Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel, vous tous, gens de Juda, qui entrez par ces portes pour vous prosterner devant l'Eternel!

Ponte á la puerta de la casa de Jehová, y predica allí esta palabra, y di: Oid palabra de Jehová, todo Judá, los que entráis por estas puertas para adorar á Jehová.

Stand in the gate of the LORD’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

“Stand in the gate of the LORD’s house, and proclaim this word there, and say, ‘Hear the LORD’s word, all you of Judah, who enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.’”

Ainsi parle l'Eternel-Cebaot, Dieu d'Israël: Amendez vos voies et vos oeuvres, et je vous laisserai résider en ce lieu.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Mejorad vuestros caminos y vuestras obras, y os haré morar en este lugar.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says, “Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Ne vous fiez pas à cette formule trompeuse: "C'est ici le sanctuaire de l'Eternel, le sanctuaire de l'Eternel, le sanctuaire de l'Eternel!"

No fiéis en palabras de mentira, diciendo: Templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová es éste.

Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

Don’t trust in lying words, saying, ‘The LORD’s temple, the LORD’s temple, the LORD’s temple, are these.’

Car si vous corrigez sérieusement vos voies et vos oeuvres, si vous pratiquez une justice sévère dans vos relations réciproques;

Mas si mejorareis cumplidamente vuestros caminos y vuestras obras; si con exactitud hiciereis derecho entre el hombre y su prójimo,

For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor;

si vous vous abstenez d'opprimer l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve, de répandre du sang innocent en ce lieu, et de suivre des dieux étrangers, pour votre malheur,

Ni oprimiereis al peregrino, al huérfano, y á la viuda, ni en este lugar derramareis la sangre inocente, ni anduviereis en pos de dioses ajenos para mal vuestro;

If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt,

†alors seulement je vous laisserai résider ici, dans le pays que j'ai donné à vos ancêtres, de siècle en siècle.

Os haré morar en este lugar, en la tierra que dí á vuestros padres para siempre.

Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

Mais voici! Vous vous fiez à des formules trompeuses, dont la valeur est nulle.

He aquí vosotros os confiáis en palabras de mentira, que no aprovechan.

Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

Behold, you trust in lying words that can’t profit.

Eh quoi! Vous allez voler, tuer, commettre des adultères, faire de faux serments, encenser Baal et suivre des dieux étrangers, que vous ne connaissez point;

¿Hurtando, matando, y adulterando, y jurando falso, é incensando á Baal, y andando tras dioses extraños que no conocisteis,

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known,

puis, vous venez vous présenter devant moi, dans ce temple qui porte mon nom, vous écriant: "Nous sommes sauvés!" pour pratiquer encore toutes ces mêmes abominations!

Vendréis y os pondréis delante de mí en esta casa sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre, y diréis: Librados somos: para hacer todas estas abominaciones?

And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Mais elle est donc devenue à vos yeux une caverne de brigands, cette maison qui porte mon nom! Eh bien, moi aussi, j'ai vu les choses de cette façon, dit l'Eternel.

¿Es cueva de ladrones delante de vuestros ojos esta casa, sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre? He aquí que también yo veo, dice Jehová.

Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

Mais rendez-vous donc à la demeure que j'avais à Silo, où tout d'abord j'avais fait résider mon nom, et voyez comment je l'ai traitée à cause de la perversité de mon peuple Israël!

Andad empero ahora á mi lugar que fué en Silo, donde hice que morase mi nombre al principio, y ved lo que le hice por la maldad de mi pueblo Israel.

But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

“But go now to my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

Et maintenant, puisque vous commettez tous ces actes, dit l'Eternel, que je me suis adressé à vous sans cesse, et dès la première heure, sans être écouté par vous, que je vous ai appelés sans obtenir de réponse,

Ahora pues, por cuanto habéis vosotros hecho todas estas obras, dice Jehová, y bien que os hablé, madrugando para hablar, no oísteis, y os llamé, y no respondisteis;

And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

Now, because you have done all these works,” says the LORD, “and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you didn’t hear; and I called you, but you didn’t answer;

je traiterai la maison qui porte mon nom et vous inspire cette confiance ainsi que la résidence que je vous ai assurée, à vous et à vos ancêtres, comme j'ai traité Silo;

Haré también á esta casa sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre, en la que vosotros confiáis, y á este lugar que dí á vosotros y á vuestros padres, como hice á Silo:

Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by my name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

je vous rejetterai de devant ma face, comme j'ai rejeté tous vos frères, toute la race d'Ephraïm.

Que os echaré de mi presencia como eché á todos vuestros hermanos, á toda la generación de Ephraim.

And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

Quant à toi, n'intercède pas pour ce peuple, ne profère en sa faveur ni supplication ni prière, ne cherche pas à me fléchir, car je ne t'écouterai pas.

Tú pues, no ores por este pueblo, ni levantes por ellos clamor ni oración, ni me ruegues; porque no te oiré.

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

“Therefore don’t pray for this people. Don’t lift up a cry or prayer for them or make intercession to me; for I will not hear you.

Ne vois-tu pas ce qu'ils font dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem?

¿No ves lo que estos hacen en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem?

Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Don’t you see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Les enfants ramassent du bois, leurs pères allument le feu et les femmes pétrissent de la pâte pour confectionner des gâteaux en l'honneur de la reine des cieux, pour faire des libations aux dieux étrangers, avec l'intention de me blesser.

Los hijos cogen la leña, y los padres encienden el fuego, y las mujeres amasan la masa, para hacer tortas á la reina del cielo y para hacer ofrendas á dioses ajenos, por provocarme á ira.

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

Mais est-ce moi qu'ils blessent? dit l'Eternel; n'est-ce pas plutôt eux-mêmes, à leur propre confusion?

¿Provocaránme ellos á ira, dice Jehová, y no más bien obran ellos mismos para confusión de sus rostros?

Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Eternel: "Voici, ma colère enflammée va fondre sur ces lieux, sur les hommes et les animaux, sur les arbres des champs et les fruits de la terre; elle brûlera sans s'éteindre.

Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí que mi furor y mi ira se derrama sobre este lugar, sobre los hombres, sobre los animales, y sobre los árboles del campo, y sobre los frutos de la tierra; y encenderáse, y no se apagará.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man, on animal, on the trees of the field, and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and will not be quenched.”

Ainsi parle l'Eternel-Cebaot, Dieu d'Israël: "Joignez vos holocaustes à vos autres sacrifices et mangez-en la chair.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Añadid vuestros holocaustos sobre vuestros sacrificios, y comed carne.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat.

Car je n'ai rien dit, rien ordonné à vos ancêtres, le jour où je les ai fait sortir du pays d'Egypte, en fait d'holocauste ni de sacrifice.

Porque no hablé yo con vuestros padres, ni les mandé el día que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, acerca de holocaustos y de víctimas:

For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

For I didn’t speak to your fathers or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices;

Mais voici l'ordre que je leur ai adressé, savoir: "Ecoutez ma voix, et je serai votre Dieu et vous serez mon peuple; suivez de tout point la voie que je vous prescris, afin d'être heureux."

Mas esto les mandé, diciendo: Escuchad mi voz, y seré á vosotros por Dios, y vosotros me seréis por pueblo; y andad en todo camino que os mandare, para que os vaya bien.

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

but this thing I commanded them, saying, ‘Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. Walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

Or, ils n'ont point obéi, point prêté l'oreille; ils ont suivi leurs inspirations, tes instincts de leur coeur vicieux, ils ont rétrogradé au lieu d'avancer.

Y no oyeron ni inclinaron su oído; antes caminaron en sus consejos, en la dureza de su corazón malvado, y fueron hacia atrás y no hacia adelante,

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Depuis le jour où vos ancêtres sortirent du pays d'Egypte jusqu'à présent, je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs, les prophètes, je les ai envoyés journellement, chaque matin;

Desde el día que vuestros padres salieron de la tierra de Egipto hasta hoy. Y os envié á todos los profetas mis siervos, cada día madrugando y enviándolos:

Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

mais ils ne m'ont pas écouté, ils n'ont pas prêté l'oreille; ils ont raidi leur nuque, ils ont fait pis que leurs pères.

Mas no me oyeron ni inclinaron su oído; antes endurecieron su cerviz, é hicieron peor que sus padres.

Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

Yet they didn’t listen to me or incline their ear, but made their neck stiff. They did worse than their fathers.

Et tu leur diras toutes ces choses, mais ils ne t'écouteront point; et tu les interpelleras, mais ils te laisseront sans réponse.

Tú pues les dirás todas estas palabras, mas no te oirán; aun los llamarás, y no te responderán.

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

“You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.

Tu leur diras alors: "Voici le peuple qui est sourd à la voix de l'Eternel, son Dieu, et rebelle aux remontrances; chez lui la fidélité est morte, elle est bannie de sa bouche!"

Les dirás por tanto: Esta es la gente que no escuchó la voz de Jehová su Dios, ni tomó corrección; perdióse la fe, y de la boca de ellos fué cortada.

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

You shall tell them, ‘This is the nation that has not listened to the LORD their God’s voice, nor received instruction. Truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth.’

Coupe ta belle chevelure et jette-la à terre, exhale tes plaintes sur les hauteurs, car l'Eternel repousse, abandonne la race qui a encouru sa colère.

Trasquila tu cabello, y arrójalo, y levanta llanto sobre las alturas; porque Jehová ha aborrecido y dejado la nación de su ira.

Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

Oui, les enfants de Juda ont fait ce que je réprouve, dit l'Eternel, ils ont placé leurs idoles immondes dans la maison qui porte mon nom, pour la profaner.

Porque los hijos de Judá han hecho lo malo ante mis ojos, dice Jehová; pusieron sus abominaciones en la casa sobre la cual mi nombre fué invocado, amancillándola.

For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

“For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight,” says the LORD. “They have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

Ils ont bâti les hauts-lieux du Tofèt, dans la vallée de Ben-Hinnom, pour brûler leurs fils et leurs filles par le feu, chose que je n'ai point commandée et qui est loin de ma pensée.

Y han edificado los altos de Topheth, que es en el valle del hijo de Hinnom, para quemar al fuego sus hijos y sus hijas, cosa que yo no les mandé, ni subió en mi corazón.

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

C'est pourquoi, voici que des jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, où il sera question, non plus de Tofèt ni de vallée de Ben-Hinnom, mais de vallée d'égorgement, et où l'on enterrera les morts à Tofèt, faute de place.

Por tanto, he aquí vendrán días, ha dicho Jehová, que no se diga más, Topheth, ni valle del hijo de Hinnom, sino Valle de la Matanza; y serán enterrados en Topheth, por no haber lugar.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

Therefore behold, the days come”, says the LORD, “that it will no more be called ‘Topheth’ or ‘The valley of the son of Hinnom’, but ‘The valley of Slaughter’; for they will bury in Topheth until there is no place to bury.

Et les cadavres de ce peuple serviront de pâture aux oiseaux du ciel et aux bêtes de la terre, sans que personne les trouble.

Y serán los cuerpos muertos de este pueblo para comida de las aves del cielo y de las bestias de la tierra; y no habrá quien las espante.

And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

The dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth. No one will frighten them away.

Et je ferai disparaître des villes de Juda et des rues de Jérusalem les cris de joie et les chants d'allégresse, la voix du fiancé et la voix de la fiancée, car ce pays sera devenu un désert.

Y haré cesar de las ciudades de Judá, y de la calles de Jerusalem, voz de gozo y voz de alegría, voz de esposo y voz de esposa; porque la tierra será en desolación.

Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land will become a waste.”
