Jeremías 8

»Denn gebt acht: ich lasse Schlangen gegen euch los, Giftschlangen, gegen welche es keine Beschwörung gibt: die sollen euch stechen!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Porque he aquí que yo envío sobre vosotros serpientes, basiliscos, contra los cuales no hay encantamiento; y os morderán, dice Jehová.

For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.
