Jeremías 8

Ach, daß ich eine Herberge hätte in der Wüste, so wollte ich mein Volk verlassen und von ihnen ziehen. Denn es sind eitel Ehebrecher und ein frecher Haufe.

Quebrantado estoy por el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo; entenebrecido estoy, espanto me ha arrebatado.

For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.

For the hurt of the daughter of my people, I am hurt. I mourn. Dismay has taken hold of me.
