Jeremías 9

Wer ist ein so weiser Mann, daß er dies verstehen mag? Und zu wem hat der Mund des HERRN geredet, daß er es kundtue, warum das Land zugrunde gegangen ist und verödet daliegt wie die Wüste, so daß niemand es durchwandert?

Y pondré á Jerusalem en montones, por morada de culebras; y pondré las ciudades de Judá en asolamiento, que no quede morador.

And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

“I will make Jerusalem heaps, a dwelling place of jackals. I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.”
