Car la mort est montée par nos fenêtres, elle a pénétré dans nos palais, faisant disparaître des rues les enfants, les jeunes gens des places publiques.

Oid pues, oh mujeres, palabra de Jehová, y vuestro oído reciba la palabra de su boca; y enseñad endechas á vuestras hijas, y cada una á su amiga, lamentación.

Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
