Jeremías 9

Oh ! qui me donnera dans le désert une cabane de voyageur ! et j’abandonnerais mon peuple et je m’en irais d’avec eux ; car ils sont tous des adultères, une assemblée de perfides.

¡Oh quién me diese en el desierto un mesón de caminantes, para que dejase mi pueblo, y de ellos me apartase! Porque todos ellos son adúlteros, congregación de prevaricadores.

E hicieron que su lengua, como su arco, tirase mentira; y no se fortalecieron por verdad en la tierra: porque de mal en mal procedieron, y me han desconocido, dice Jehová.

And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.

“They bend their tongue, as their bow, for falsehood. They have grown strong in the land, but not for truth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they don’t know me,” says the LORD.

Et chacun d’eux trompe son ami, et ne dit pas la vérité ; ils ont enseigné leur langue à dire le mensonge, ils se fatiguent à faire le mal.

Guárdese cada uno de su compañero, ni en ningún hermano tenga confianza: porque todo hermano engaña con falacia, y todo compañero anda con falsedades.

Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.

“Everyone beware of his neighbor, and don’t trust in any brother; for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will go around like a slanderer.

Ton habitation est au milieu de la tromperie ; à cause de la tromperie ils refusent de me connaître, dit l’Éternel.

Y cada uno engaña á su compañero, y no hablan verdad: enseñaron su lengua á hablar mentira, se ocupan de hacer perversamente.

And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.

C’est pourquoi, ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées : Voici, je vais les affiner et les éprouver ; car comment agirais-je à l’égard de la fille de mon peuple ?

Tu morada es en medio de engaño; de muy engañadores no quisieron conocerme, dice Jehová.

Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.

Leur langue est une flèche mortelle, elle profère la tromperie ; de sa bouche il parle de paix avec son ami, mais au-dedans il lui dresse des embûches.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí que yo los fundiré, y los ensayaré; porque ¿cómo he de hacer por la hija de mi pueblo?

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?

Ne les punirais-je pas à cause de ces choses ? dit l’Éternel ; mon âme ne se vengerait-elle pas d’une nation comme celle-là ?

Saeta afilada es la lengua de ellos; engaño habla; con su boca habla paz con su amigo, y dentro de sí pone sus asechanzas.

Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.

Their tongue is a deadly arrow. It speaks deceit. One speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart, he waits to ambush him.

J’élèverai une voix de pleurs et une lamentation sur les montagnes, et une complainte sur les pâturages du désert, car ils sont brûlés, de sorte que personne n’y passe et qu’on n’y entend pas la voix des troupeaux ; tant les oiseaux des cieux que les bêtes ont fui ; ils s’en sont allés.

¿No los tengo de visitar sobre estas cosas? dice Jehová. ¿De tal gente no se vengará mi alma?

Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Shouldn’t I punish them for these things?” says the LORD. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on a nation such as this?

Et je ferai de Jérusalem des monceaux †de ruines, un repaire de chacals ; et des villes de Juda, j’en ferai une désolation, de sorte qu’il n’y aura plus d’habitant.

Sobre los montes levantaré lloro y lamentación, y llanto sobre las moradas del desierto; porque desolados fueron hasta no quedar quien pase, ni oyeron bramido de ganado: desde las aves del cielo y hasta las bestias de la tierra se trasportaron, y se fueron.

For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.

I will weep and wail for the mountains, and lament for the pastures of the wilderness, because they are burned up, so that no one passes through; Men can’t hear the voice of the livestock. Both the birds of the sky and the animals have fled. They are gone.

Qui est l’homme sage ? qu’il comprenne cela. Et celui à qui la bouche de l’Éternel a parlé, qu’il le déclare ! Pourquoi le pays périt-il, †et est-il brûlé comme un désert, de sorte que personne n’y passe ?

Y pondré á Jerusalem en montones, por morada de culebras; y pondré las ciudades de Judá en asolamiento, que no quede morador.

And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

“I will make Jerusalem heaps, a dwelling place of jackals. I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.”

Et l’Éternel dit : Parce qu’ils ont abandonné ma loi que j’avais mise devant eux, et qu’ils n’ont pas écouté ma voix, et parce qu’ils n’ont pas marché en elle,

¿Quién es varón sabio que entienda esto? ¿y á quién habló la boca de Jehová, para que pueda declararlo? ¿Por qué causa la tierra ha perecido, ha sido asolada como desierto, que no hay quien pase?

Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?

Who is wise enough to understand this? Who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it? Why has the land perished and burned up like a wilderness, so that no one passes through?

et qu’ils ont marché suivant le penchant obstiné de leur cœur et après les Baals, ce que leurs pères leur ont enseigné.

Y dijo Jehová: Porque dejaron mi ley, la cual dí delante de ellos, y no obedecieron á mi voz, ni caminaron conforme á ella;

And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;

C’est pourquoi, ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël : Voici, je vais faire manger de l’absinthe à ce peuple, et je leur ferai boire de l’eau de fiel ;

Antes se fueron tras la imaginación de su corazón, y en pos de los Baales que les enseñaron sus padres:

But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:

but have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart and after the Baals, which their fathers taught them.”

et je les disperserai parmi les nations qu’ils n’ont pas connues, eux et leurs pères ; et j’enverrai après eux l’épée, jusqu’à ce que je les aie consumés.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: He aquí que á este pueblo yo les daré á comer ajenjos, y les daré á beber aguas de hiel.

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées : Considérez, et appelez les pleureuses, et qu’elles viennent ; et envoyez vers les femmes sages, et qu’elles viennent,

Y los esparciré entre gentes que no conocieron ellos ni sus padres; y enviaré espada en pos de ellos, hasta que yo los acabe.

I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.

et qu’elles se hâtent, et qu’elles élèvent une †voix de lamentation sur nous, et que nos yeux se fondent en larmes, et que l’eau coule de nos paupières.

Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Considerad, y llamad plañideras que vengan; y enviad por las sabias que vengan:

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:

The LORD of Armies says, “Consider, and call for the mourning women, that they may come. Send for the skillful women, that they may come.

Car une voix de lamentation se fait entendre de Sion : Comme nous sommes détruits, †et devenus fort honteux ! car nous avons abandonné le pays, car ils ont jeté à bas nos demeures.

Y dense prisa, y levanten llanto sobre nosotros, y córranse nuestros ojos en lágrimas, y nuestros párpados en aguas se destilen.

And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.

Porque voz de endecha fué oída de Sión: ¡Cómo hemos sido destruídos! en gran manera hemos sido confundidos. ¿Por qué dejamos la tierra? ¿por qué nos han echado de sí nuestras moradas?

For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.

Car la mort est montée par nos fenêtres, elle est entrée dans nos palais, pour retrancher de la rue les petits enfants, †et des places, les jeunes hommes.

Oid pues, oh mujeres, palabra de Jehová, y vuestro oído reciba la palabra de su boca; y enseñad endechas á vuestras hijas, y cada una á su amiga, lamentación.

Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.

Dis : Ainsi dit l’Éternel : Oui, le cadavre de l’homme tombera comme du fumier sur la face des champs, et comme la gerbe après le moissonneur, et il n’y a personne qui la recueille.

Ainsi dit l’Éternel : Que le sage ne se glorifie pas dans sa sagesse, et que l’homme vaillant ne se glorifie pas dans sa vaillance ; que le riche ne se glorifie pas dans sa richesse ;

Habla: Así ha dicho Jehová: Los cuerpos de los hombres muertos caerán como estiércol sobre la haz del campo, y como manojo tras el segador, que no hay quien lo recoja.

Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.

Speak, “The LORD says, “‘The dead bodies of men will fall as dung on the open field, and as the handful after the harvester. No one will gather them.’”

mais que celui qui se glorifie, se glorifie en ceci, qu’il a de l’intelligence et qu’il me connaît ; car je suis l’Éternel, qui use de bonté, de jugement et de justice sur la terre, car je trouve mes délices en ces choses-là, dit l’Éternel.

Así dijo Jehová: No se alabe el sabio en su sabiduría, ni en su valentía se alabe el valiente, ni el rico se alabe en sus riquezas.

Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

The LORD says, “Don’t let the wise man glory in his wisdom. Don’t let the mighty man glory in his might. Don’t let the rich man glory in his riches.

Voici, des jours viennent, dit l’Éternel, et je punirai tous les circoncis avec les incirconcis,

Mas alábese en esto el que se hubiere de alabar: en entenderme y conocerme, que yo soy Jehová, que hago misericordia, juicio, y justicia en la tierra: porque estas cosas quiero, dice Jehová.

But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

But let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am the LORD who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for I delight in these things,” says the LORD.

l’Égypte, et Juda, et Édom, et les fils d’Ammon, et Moab, et tous ceux qui coupent les coins †de leur barbe, lesquels habitent le désert ; car toutes les nations sont incirconcises, et toute la maison d’Israël est incirconcise de cœur.

He aquí que vienen días, dice Jehová, y visitaré sobre todo circuncidado, y sobre todo incircunciso:

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;

A Egipto, y á Judá, y á Edom, y á los hijos de Ammón y de Moab, y á todos los arrinconados en el postrer rincón, que moran en el desierto; porque todas las gentes tienen prepucio, y toda la casa de Israel tiene prepucio en el corazón.

Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.

Egypt, Judah, Edom, the children of Ammon, Moab, and all who have the corners of their hair cut off, who dwell in the wilderness, for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart.”
