Jesus sagte: »Hebt den Stein weg!« Martha, die Schwester des Verstorbenen, erwiderte ihm: »Herr, er ist schon in Verwesung; es ist ja schon der vierte Tag seit seinem Tode.«

Dice Jesús: Quitad la piedra. Marta, la hermana del que se había muerto, le dice: Señor, hiede ya, que es de cuatro días.

Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
