Doch ich weiß, daß du mich allezeit erhörst; aber um des umstehenden Volkes willen habe ich es gesagt, damit sie glauben, daß du mich gesandt hast.

And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
