Dies aber sagte er nicht aus sich selbst, sondern da er jenes Jahr Hoherpriester war, weissagte er, dass Jesus für die Nation sterben sollte;

Mas esto no lo dijo de sí mismo; sino que, como era el sumo pontífice de aquel año, profetizó que Jesús había de morir por la nación:
