Ele não havia dito aquilo dele mesmo, mas, por ser o sumo sacerdote naquele ano, profetizou que Jesus morreria pela nação.

Mas esto no lo dijo de sí mismo; sino que, como era el sumo pontífice de aquel año, profetizó que Jesús había de morir por la nación:
