Pero no dijo esto por iniciativa propia, sino porque, como aquel año era sumo sacerdote, profetizó que Jesús estaba destinado a morir por la nación,

Mas esto no lo dijo de sí mismo; sino que, como era el sumo pontífice de aquel año, profetizó que Jesús había de morir por la nación:

And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
