Petrus spricht zu ihm: Herr, warum kann ich dir diesmal nicht folgen? Ich will mein Leben fur dich lassen.

Dícele Pedro: Señor, ¿por qué no te puedo seguir ahora? mi alma pondré por ti.

Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

Peter said to him, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”
