38Jesús dijo en respuesta: ¿Darás tu vida por mí? En verdad te digo, antes que cante un gallo habrás dicho tres veces que no eres mi discípulo.

38Respondióle Jesús: ¿Tu alma pondrás por mí? De cierto, de cierto te digo: No cantará el gallo, sin que me hayas negado tres veces.

38Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
World English Bible
38Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for me? Most certainly I tell you, the rooster won’t crow until you have denied me three times.
