Dans la maison de mon Père, il y a plusieurs demeures ; s’il en était autrement, je vous l’aurais dit, car je vais vous préparer une place.
En la casa de mi Padre muchas moradas hay: de otra manera os lo hubiera dicho: voy, pues, á preparar lugar para vosotros.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
Et si je m’en vais et que je vous prépare une place, je reviendrai, et je vous prendrai auprès de moi ; afin que là où moi je suis, vous, vous soyez aussi.
Y si me fuere, y os aparejare lugar, vendré otra vez, y os tomaré á mí mismo: para que donde yo estoy, vosotros también estéis.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Thomas lui dit : Seigneur, nous ne savons pas où tu vas ; et comment pouvons-nous en savoir le chemin ?
Dícele Tomás: Señor, no sabemos á dónde vas: ¿cómo, pues, podemos saber el camino?
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”
Jésus lui dit : Moi, je suis le chemin, et la vérité, et la vie ; nul ne vient au Père que par moi.
Jesús le dice: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Si vous m’aviez connu, vous auriez connu aussi mon Père ; et dès maintenant vous le connaissez et vous l’avez vu.
Si me conocieseis, también á mi Padre conocierais: y desde ahora le conocéis, y le habéis visto.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.”
Philippe lui dit : Seigneur, montre-nous le Père, et cela nous suffit.
Dícele Felipe: Señor, muéstranos el Padre, y nos basta.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
Jésus lui dit : Je suis depuis si longtemps avec vous, et tu ne m’as pas connu, Philippe ? Celui qui m’a vu, a vu le Père ; et comment toi, dis-tu : Montre-nous le Père ?
Jesús le dice: ¿Tanto tiempo ha que estoy con vosotros, y no me has conocido, Felipe? El que me ha visto, ha visto al Padre; ¿cómo, pues, dices tú: Muéstranos el Padre?
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Ne crois-tu pas que moi je suis dans le Père, et que le Père est en moi ? Les paroles que moi je vous dis, je ne les dis pas de par moi-même ; mais le Père qui demeure en moi, c’est lui qui fait les œuvres.
¿No crees que yo soy en el Padre, y el Padre en mí? Las palabras que yo os hablo, no las hablo de mí mismo: mas el Padre que está en mí, él hace las obras.
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.
Croyez-moi, que je suis dans le Père, et que le Père est en moi ; sinon, croyez-moi à cause des œuvres elles-mêmes.
Creedme que yo soy en el Padre, y el Padre en mí: de otra manera, creedme por las mismas obras.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Et quoi que vous demandiez en mon nom, je le ferai, afin que le Père soit glorifié dans le Fils.
Y todo lo que pidiereis al Padre en mi nombre, esto haré, para que el Padre sea glorificado en el Hijo.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Si vous demandez quelque chose en mon nom, moi, je le ferai.
Si algo pidiereis en mi nombre, yo lo haré.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

et moi, je prierai le Père, et il vous donnera un autre consolateur, pour être avec vous éternellement,
Y yo rogaré al Padre, y os dará otro Consolador, para que esté con vosotros para siempre:
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever:
l’Esprit de vérité, que le monde ne peut pas recevoir, parce qu’il ne le voit pas et ne le connaît pas ; mais vous, vous le connaissez, parce qu’il demeure avec vous, et qu’il sera en vous.
Al Espíritu de verdad, al cual el mundo no puede recibir, porque no le ve, ni le conoce: mas vosotros le conocéis; porque está con vosotros, y será en vosotros.
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive, for it doesn’t see him and doesn’t know him. You know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
Je ne vous laisserai pas orphelins ; je viens à vous.

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

En ce jour-là, vous connaîtrez que moi je suis en mon Père, et vous en moi et moi en vous.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Celui qui a mes commandements et qui les garde, c’est celui-là qui m’aime ; et celui qui m’aime, sera aimé de mon Père ; et moi je l’aimerai, et je me manifesterai à lui.
El que tiene mis mandamientos, y los guarda, aquél es el que me ama; y el que me ama, será amado de mi Padre, y yo le amaré, y me manifestaré á él.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”
Jude (non pas l’Iscariote) lui dit : Seigneur, comment se fait-il que tu vas te manifester à nous, et non pas au monde ?
Dícele Judas, no el Iscariote: Señor, ¿qué hay porque te hayas de manifestar á nosotros, y no al mundo?
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”
Jésus répondit et lui dit : Si quelqu’un m’aime, il gardera ma parole, et mon Père l’aimera ; et nous viendrons à lui, et nous ferons notre demeure chez lui.
Respondió Jesús, y díjole: El que me ama, mi palabra guardará; y mi Padre le amará, y vendremos á él, y haremos con él morada.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
Celui qui ne m’aime pas ne garde pas mes paroles. Et la parole que vous entendez n’est pas la mienne, mais celle du Père qui m’a envoyé.
El que no me ama, no guarda mis palabras: y la palabra que habéis oído, no es mía, sino del Padre que me envió.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.
Je vous ai dit ces choses demeurant avec vous ;
Estas cosas os he hablado estando con vosotros.
These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
“I have said these things to you while still living with you.
mais le Consolateur, l’Esprit Saint, que le Père enverra en mon nom, lui, vous enseignera toutes choses et vous rappellera toutes les choses que je vous ai dites.
Mas el Consolador, el Espíritu Santo, al cual el Padre enviará en mi nombre, él os enseñará todas las cosas, y os recordará todas las cosas que os he dicho.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
Je vous laisse la paix ; je vous donne ma paix ; je ne vous donne pas, moi, comme le monde donne. Que votre cœur ne soit pas troublé, ni craintif.
La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy: no como el mundo la da, yo os la doy. No se turbe vuestro corazón, ni tenga miedo.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Vous avez entendu que moi je vous ai dit : Je m’en vais, et je viens à vous. Si vous m’aviez aimé, vous vous seriez réjouis de ce que je m’en vais au Père, car mon Père est plus grand que moi.
Habéis oído cómo yo os he dicho: Voy, y vengo á vosotros. Si me amaseis, ciertamente os gozaríais, porque he dicho que voy al Padre: porque el Padre mayor es que yo.
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
You heard how I told you, ‘I am going away, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.
Et maintenant je vous l’ai dit avant que cela arrive, afin que, quand ce sera arrivé, vous croyiez.
Y ahora os lo he dicho antes que se haga; para que cuando se hiciere, creáis.
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
Now I have told you before it happens so that when it happens, you may believe.
Je ne parlerai plus beaucoup avec vous, car le chef du monde vient, et il n’a rien en moi ;
Ya no hablaré mucho con vosotros: porque viene el príncipe de este mundo; mas no tiene nada en mí.
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.
mais afin que le monde connaisse que j’aime le Père ; et selon que le Père m’a commandé, ainsi je fais. Levez-vous, partons d’ici !
Empero para que conozca el mundo que amo al Padre, y como el Padre me dió el mandamiento, así hago. Levantaos, vamos de aquí.
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
