Euer Herz werde nicht bestürzt. Ihr glaubet an Gott, glaubet auch an mich.

NO se turbe vuestro corazón: creéis en Dios, creed también en mí.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

Im Hause meines Vaters sind viele Wohnungen; wenn es nicht so wäre, würde ich es euch gesagt haben; denn ich gehe hin, euch eine Stätte zu bereiten.

En la casa de mi Padre muchas moradas hay: de otra manera os lo hubiera dicho: voy, pues, á preparar lugar para vosotros.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

Und wenn ich hingehe und euch eine Stätte bereite, so komme ich wieder und werde euch zu mir nehmen, auf daß, wo ich bin, auch ihr seiet.

Y si me fuere, y os aparejare lugar, vendré otra vez, y os tomaré á mí mismo: para que donde yo estoy, vosotros también estéis.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

Und wo ich hingehe, wisset ihr, und den Weg wisset ihr.

Y sabéis á dónde yo voy; y sabéis el camino.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

You know where I go, and you know the way.”

Thomas spricht zu ihm: Herr, wir wissen nicht, wo du hingehst, und wie können wir den Weg wissen?

Dícele Tomás: Señor, no sabemos á dónde vas: ¿cómo, pues, podemos saber el camino?

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

Jesus spricht zu ihm: Ich bin der Weg und die Wahrheit und das Leben. Niemand kommt zum Vater, als nur durch mich.

Jesús le dice: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Wenn ihr mich erkannt hättet, so würdet ihr auch meinen Vater erkannt haben; und von jetzt an erkennet ihr ihn und habt ihn gesehen.

Si me conocieseis, también á mi Padre conocierais: y desde ahora le conocéis, y le habéis visto.

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.”

Philippus spricht zu ihm: Herr, zeige uns den Vater, und es genügt uns.

Dícele Felipe: Señor, muéstranos el Padre, y nos basta.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

Jesus spricht zu ihm: So lange Zeit bin ich bei euch, und du hast mich nicht erkannt, Philippus? Wer mich gesehen hat, hat den Vater gesehen, und wie sagst du: Zeige uns den Vater? -

Jesús le dice: ¿Tanto tiempo ha que estoy con vosotros, y no me has conocido, Felipe? El que me ha visto, ha visto al Padre; ¿cómo, pues, dices tú: Muéstranos el Padre?

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Glaubst du nicht, daß ich in dem Vater bin und der Vater in mir ist? Die Worte, die ich zu euch rede, rede ich nicht von mir selbst; der Vater aber, der in mir bleibt, er tut die Werke.

¿No crees que yo soy en el Padre, y el Padre en mí? Las palabras que yo os hablo, no las hablo de mí mismo: mas el Padre que está en mí, él hace las obras.

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.

Glaubet mir, daß ich in dem Vater bin und der Vater in mir ist; wenn aber nicht, so glaubet mir um der Werke selbst willen.

Creedme que yo soy en el Padre, y el Padre en mí: de otra manera, creedme por las mismas obras.

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer an mich glaubt, der wird auch die Werke tun, die ich tue, und wird größere als diese tun, weil ich zum Vater gehe.

De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que en mí cree, las obras que yo hago también él las hará; y mayores que éstas hará; porque yo voy al Padre.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

Und was irgend ihr bitten werdet in meinem Namen, das werde ich tun, auf daß der Vater verherrlicht werde in dem Sohne.

Y todo lo que pidiereis al Padre en mi nombre, esto haré, para que el Padre sea glorificado en el Hijo.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Wenn ihr etwas bitten werdet in meinem Namen, so werde ich es tun.

Si algo pidiereis en mi nombre, yo lo haré.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Wenn ihr mich liebet, so haltet meine Gebote;

Si me amáis, guardad mis mandamientos;

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

If you love me, keep my commandments.

und ich werde den Vater bitten, und er wird euch einen anderen Sachwalter geben, daß er bei euch sei in Ewigkeit,

Y yo rogaré al Padre, y os dará otro Consolador, para que esté con vosotros para siempre:

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever:

den Geist der Wahrheit, den die Welt nicht empfangen kann, weil sie ihn nicht sieht noch ihn kennt. Ihr aber kennet ihn, denn er bleibt bei euch und wird in euch sein.

Al Espíritu de verdad, al cual el mundo no puede recibir, porque no le ve, ni le conoce: mas vosotros le conocéis; porque está con vosotros, y será en vosotros.

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive, for it doesn’t see him and doesn’t know him. You know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Ich werde euch nicht als Waisen lassen, ich komme zu euch.

No os dejaré huérfanos: vendré á vosotros.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

Noch ein Kleines, und die Welt sieht mich nicht mehr; ihr aber sehet mich: Weil ich lebe, werdet auch ihr leben.

Aun un poquito, y el mundo no me verá más; empero vosotros me veréis; porque yo vivo, y vosotros también viviréis.

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

An jenem Tage werdet ihr erkennen, daß ich in meinem Vater bin, und ihr in mir und ich in euch.

En aquel día vosotros conoceréis que yo estoy en mi Padre, y vosotros en mí, y yo en vosotros.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

Wer meine Gebote hat und sie hält, der ist es, der mich liebt; wer aber mich liebt, wird von meinem Vater geliebt werden; und ich werde ihn lieben und mich selbst ihm offenbar machen.

El que tiene mis mandamientos, y los guarda, aquél es el que me ama; y el que me ama, será amado de mi Padre, y yo le amaré, y me manifestaré á él.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”

Judas, nicht der Iskariot, spricht zu ihm: Herr, wie ist es, daß du dich uns offenbar machen willst, und nicht der Welt?

Dícele Judas, no el Iscariote: Señor, ¿qué hay porque te hayas de manifestar á nosotros, y no al mundo?

Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Wenn jemand mich liebt, so wird er mein Wort halten, und mein Vater wird ihn lieben, und wir werden zu ihm kommen und Wohnung bei ihm machen.

Respondió Jesús, y díjole: El que me ama, mi palabra guardará; y mi Padre le amará, y vendremos á él, y haremos con él morada.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Wer mich nicht liebt, hält meine Worte nicht; und das Wort, welches ihr höret, ist nicht mein, sondern des Vaters, der mich gesandt hat.

El que no me ama, no guarda mis palabras: y la palabra que habéis oído, no es mía, sino del Padre que me envió.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

Dies habe ich zu euch geredet, während ich bei euch bin.

Estas cosas os he hablado estando con vosotros.

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

“I have said these things to you while still living with you.

Der Sachwalter aber, der Heilige Geist, welchen der Vater senden wird in meinem Namen, jener wird euch alles lehren und euch an alles erinnern, was ich euch gesagt habe.

Mas el Consolador, el Espíritu Santo, al cual el Padre enviará en mi nombre, él os enseñará todas las cosas, y os recordará todas las cosas que os he dicho.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

Frieden lasse ich euch, meinen Frieden gebe ich euch; nicht wie die Welt gibt, gebe ich euch. Euer Herz werde nicht bestürzt, sei auch nicht furchtsam.

La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy: no como el mundo la da, yo os la doy. No se turbe vuestro corazón, ni tenga miedo.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

Ihr habt gehört, daß ich euch gesagt habe: Ich gehe hin, und ich komme zu euch. Wenn ihr mich liebtet, so würdet ihr euch freuen, daß ich zum Vater gehe, denn mein Vater ist größer als ich.

Habéis oído cómo yo os he dicho: Voy, y vengo á vosotros. Si me amaseis, ciertamente os gozaríais, porque he dicho que voy al Padre: porque el Padre mayor es que yo.

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

You heard how I told you, ‘I am going away, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.

Und jetzt habe ich es euch gesagt, ehe es geschieht, auf daß, wenn es geschieht, ihr glaubet.

Y ahora os lo he dicho antes que se haga; para que cuando se hiciere, creáis.

And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

Now I have told you before it happens so that when it happens, you may believe.

Ich werde nicht mehr vieles mit euch reden, denn der Fürst der Welt kommt und hat nichts in mir;

Ya no hablaré mucho con vosotros: porque viene el príncipe de este mundo; mas no tiene nada en mí.

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.

aber auf daß die Welt erkenne, daß ich den Vater liebe und also tue, wie mir der Vater geboten hat. Stehet auf, lasset uns von hinnen gehen.

Empero para que conozca el mundo que amo al Padre, y como el Padre me dió el mandamiento, así hago. Levantaos, vamos de aquí.

But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let’s go from here.
