En la casa de mi Padre hay muchas viviendas; si no fuera así, no les habría dicho que voy a prepararles un lugar.
En la casa de mi Padre muchas moradas hay: de otra manera os lo hubiera dicho: voy, pues, á preparar lugar para vosotros.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
Y si me voy a prepararles un lugar, volveré para llevármelos conmigo. Así ustedes estarán donde yo esté.
Y si me fuere, y os aparejare lugar, vendré otra vez, y os tomaré á mí mismo: para que donde yo estoy, vosotros también estéis.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.
Ustedes ya conocen el camino para ir a donde yo voy».
Y sabéis á dónde yo voy; y sabéis el camino.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
You know where I go, and you know the way.”
Entonces Tomás dijo: ―Señor, si no sabemos a dónde vas, ¿cómo vamos a saber el camino?
Dícele Tomás: Señor, no sabemos á dónde vas: ¿cómo, pues, podemos saber el camino?
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”
Jesús le contestó: ―Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida. Nadie puede llegar al Padre si no es por mí.
Jesús le dice: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Si ustedes me conocieran, conocerían también a mi Padre. Y ya desde este momento lo conocen pues lo han visto.
Si me conocieseis, también á mi Padre conocierais: y desde ahora le conocéis, y le habéis visto.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.”
Felipe le dijo: ―Señor, déjanos ver al Padre y con eso nos basta.
Dícele Felipe: Señor, muéstranos el Padre, y nos basta.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
Jesús le contestó: ―¡Felipe! ¿Ya llevo mucho tiempo entre ustedes y todavía no me conoces? El que me ha visto a mí, también ha visto al Padre. ¿Cómo puedes decirme: “Déjanos ver al Padre”?
Jesús le dice: ¿Tanto tiempo ha que estoy con vosotros, y no me has conocido, Felipe? El que me ha visto, ha visto al Padre; ¿cómo, pues, dices tú: Muéstranos el Padre?
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
¿No crees que yo estoy en el Padre y que el Padre está en mí? Las cosas que yo les digo, no las digo por mi propia cuenta. El Padre que está en mí, es el que hace sus propias obras.
¿No crees que yo soy en el Padre, y el Padre en mí? Las palabras que yo os hablo, no las hablo de mí mismo: mas el Padre que está en mí, él hace las obras.
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.
Créanme cuando les digo que yo estoy en el Padre y que el Padre está en mí. Y si no, al menos créanme por las obras mismas.
Creedme que yo soy en el Padre, y el Padre en mí: de otra manera, creedme por las mismas obras.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

»Les aseguro que el que cree en mí hará las mismas obras que yo hago, y hará obras todavía mayores porque yo vuelvo al Padre.
De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que en mí cree, las obras que yo hago también él las hará; y mayores que éstas hará; porque yo voy al Padre.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
Todo lo que ustedes pidan en mi nombre, yo lo haré; así el Padre será glorificado en el Hijo.
Y todo lo que pidiereis al Padre en mi nombre, esto haré, para que el Padre sea glorificado en el Hijo.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Yo haré lo que ustedes pidan en mi nombre.
Si algo pidiereis en mi nombre, yo lo haré.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

»Si ustedes me aman, obedecerán mis mandamientos.
Si me amáis, guardad mis mandamientos;
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
If you love me, keep my commandments.
Y yo le pediré al Padre, y él les enviará otro Consolador para que siempre esté con ustedes.
Y yo rogaré al Padre, y os dará otro Consolador, para que esté con vosotros para siempre:
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever:
Él es el Espíritu de verdad; el mundo no lo puede recibir porque no lo ve ni lo conoce. Pero ustedes sí lo conocen, porque vive con ustedes y estará en ustedes.
Al Espíritu de verdad, al cual el mundo no puede recibir, porque no le ve, ni le conoce: mas vosotros le conocéis; porque está con vosotros, y será en vosotros.
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive, for it doesn’t see him and doesn’t know him. You know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
No los voy a dejar huérfanos; volveré a estar con ustedes.
No os dejaré huérfanos: vendré á vosotros.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.
Dentro de poco el mundo ya no me verá, pero ustedes sí me verán. Y porque yo vivo, también ustedes vivirán.
Aun un poquito, y el mundo no me verá más; empero vosotros me veréis; porque yo vivo, y vosotros también viviréis.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

En aquel día ustedes se darán cuenta de que yo estoy en mi Padre, y que ustedes están en mí, y yo en ustedes.
En aquel día vosotros conoceréis que yo estoy en mi Padre, y vosotros en mí, y yo en vosotros.
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
El que hace suyos mis mandamientos y los obedece, ese es el que me ama. Y al que me ama, mi Padre lo amará, y yo también lo amaré y me mostraré a él».
El que tiene mis mandamientos, y los guarda, aquél es el que me ama; y el que me ama, será amado de mi Padre, y yo le amaré, y me manifestaré á él.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”
Judas, (no el Iscariote) le dijo: ―Señor, ¿por qué te mostrarás a nosotros y no al mundo?
Dícele Judas, no el Iscariote: Señor, ¿qué hay porque te hayas de manifestar á nosotros, y no al mundo?
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”
Jesús le contestó: ―El que me ama, obedece mi palabra. Por eso, Dios lo amará y vendremos a vivir con él.
Respondió Jesús, y díjole: El que me ama, mi palabra guardará; y mi Padre le amará, y vendremos á él, y haremos con él morada.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
El que no me ama, no obedece mi palabra. Estas palabras que ustedes oyen no son mías, sino del Padre, que me envió.
El que no me ama, no guarda mis palabras: y la palabra que habéis oído, no es mía, sino del Padre que me envió.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.
»Les digo todo esto ahora que todavía estoy con ustedes.
Estas cosas os he hablado estando con vosotros.
These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
“I have said these things to you while still living with you.
Pero el Consolador, el Espíritu Santo, vendrá en mi nombre porque el Padre lo enviará. Él les enseñará todas las cosas y les recordará todo lo que les he dicho.
Mas el Consolador, el Espíritu Santo, al cual el Padre enviará en mi nombre, él os enseñará todas las cosas, y os recordará todas las cosas que os he dicho.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
»Les dejo la paz, les doy mi paz; pero no se la doy a ustedes como la da el mundo. No se angustien ni tengan miedo.
La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy: no como el mundo la da, yo os la doy. No se turbe vuestro corazón, ni tenga miedo.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
Ya me oyeron decirles que me voy, pero regreso a ustedes. Si me amaran, estarían alegres de que voy al Padre porque el Padre es más grande que yo.
Habéis oído cómo yo os he dicho: Voy, y vengo á vosotros. Si me amaseis, ciertamente os gozaríais, porque he dicho que voy al Padre: porque el Padre mayor es que yo.
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
You heard how I told you, ‘I am going away, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.
Les digo esto antes que suceda, para que cuando suceda, crean.
Y ahora os lo he dicho antes que se haga; para que cuando se hiciere, creáis.
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
Now I have told you before it happens so that when it happens, you may believe.
Ya no hablaré mucho con ustedes, porque viene el príncipe de este mundo. Él no tiene poder sobre mí,
Ya no hablaré mucho con vosotros: porque viene el príncipe de este mundo; mas no tiene nada en mí.
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.
pero todos tienen que saber que amo al Padre y que hago lo que él me ordena. ¡Levántense, vámonos de aquí!
Empero para que conozca el mundo que amo al Padre, y como el Padre me dió el mandamiento, así hago. Levantaos, vamos de aquí.
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let’s go from here.
