Wenn ihr von der Welt wärt, würde die Welt das Ihre lieben; weil ihr aber nicht von der Welt seid, sondern ich euch aus der Welt auserwählt habe, darum hasst euch die Welt.

Si fuerais del mundo, el mundo amaría lo suyo; mas porque no sois del mundo, antes yo os elegí del mundo, por eso os aborrece el mundo.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
