Egli toglie via ogni tralcio che in me non porta frutto; ma ogni tralcio che porta frutto egli lo rimonda, acciocchè ne porti vie più.

Todo pámpano que en mí no lleva fruto, le quitará: y todo aquel que lleva fruto, le limpiará, para que lleve más fruto.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
