Bleibt in Mir, und Ich in euch. Gleichwie die Rebe keine Frucht tragen kann von ihr selber, sie bleibe denn am Weinstock, so auch ihr nicht, ihr bleibt denn in Mir.

Estad en mí, y yo en vosotros. Como el pámpano no puede llevar fruto de sí mismo, si no estuviere en la vid; así ni vosotros, si no estuviereis en mí.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
