Yo soy la Vid verdadera, y mi Padre es el Viñador.
YO soy la vid verdadera, y mi Padre es el labrador.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
Toda rama que en Mí no produce fruto, la levanta. Toda la que produce fruto, la poda para que dé más fruto.
Todo pámpano que en mí no lleva fruto, le quitará: y todo aquel que lleva fruto, le limpiará, para que lleve más fruto.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Ya ustedes están limpios por medio de la Palabra que les he hablado.
Ya vosotros sois limpios por la palabra que os he hablado.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
Permanezcan en Mí, y Yo en ustedes. Como la rama no puede dar fruto por ella misma, si no permanece en la vid, así tampoco ustedes, si no permanecen en Mí.
Estad en mí, y yo en vosotros. Como el pámpano no puede llevar fruto de sí mismo, si no estuviere en la vid; así ni vosotros, si no estuviereis en mí.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
Yo soy la Vid, ustedes las ramas. El que permanece en Mí, y Yo en él, éste da mucho fruto. Porque separados de Mí nada pueden hacer.
Yo soy la vid, vosotros los pámpanos: el que está en mí, y yo en él, éste lleva mucho fruto; porque sin mí nada podéis hacer.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Si alguno no permanece en Mí, será echado fuera como rama y se secará. Las recogen, las echan al fuego y arden.
El que en mí no estuviere, será echado fuera como mal pámpano, y se secará; y los cogen, y los echan en el fuego, y arden.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
If a man doesn’t remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
Si permanecen en Mí y mis palabras permanecen en ustedes, pidan lo que deseen y se les hará.
Si estuviereis en mí, y mis palabras estuvieren en vosotros, pedid todo lo que quisiereis, y os será hecho.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
En esto es glorificado mi Padre: en que den mucho fruto y sean mis discípulos.
En esto es glorificado mi Padre, en que llevéis mucho fruto, y seáis así mis discípulos.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
“In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
Como el Padre me amó, también Yo los amé. Permanezcan en mi amor.
Como el Padre me amó, también yo os he amado: estad en mi amor.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.
Si guardan mis Mandamientos, permanecerán en mi amor, como Yo he guardado los Mandamientos de mi Padre y permanezco en su amor.
Si guardareis mis mandamientos, estaréis en mi amor; como yo también he guardado los mandamientos de mi Padre, y estoy en su amor.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Estas cosas les he hablado para que mi gozo esté en ustedes y su gozo sea completo.
Estas cosas os he hablado, para que mi gozo esté en vosotros, y vuestro gozo sea cumplido.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.
Este es mi Mandamiento: Que se amen unos a otros como los amé.
Este es mi mandamiento: Que os améis los unos á los otros, como yo os he amado.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
“This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
Nadie tiene mayor amor que el que da su vida por sus amigos.
Nadie tiene mayor amor que este, que ponga alguno su vida por sus amigos.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
Ustedes son mis amigos si hacen lo que Yo les mando.
Vosotros sois mis amigos, si hiciereis las cosas que yo os mando.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.
Ya no los llamo esclavos, porque el esclavo no sabe lo que su señor hace. Pero los llamo amigos, porque todas las cosas que oí de mi Padre, se las revelé.
Ya no os llamaré siervos, porque el siervo no sabe lo que hace su señor: mas os he llamado amigos, porque todas las cosas que oí de mi Padre, os he hecho notorias.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.
Ustedes no me eligieron, sino Yo los elegí y los coloqué para que ustedes vayan y den fruto, y su fruto permanezca, a fin de que les dé todo lo que pidan al Padre en mi Nombre.
No me elegisteis vosotros á mí, mas yo os elegí á vosotros; y os he puesto para que vayáis y llevéis fruto, y vuestro fruto permanezca: para que todo lo que pidiereis del Padre en mi nombre, él os lo dé.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
Esto les mando: que se amen unos a otros.
Esto os mando: Que os améis los unos á los otros.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
“I command these things to you, that you may love one another.
Si el mundo los aborrece, recuerden que a Mí me aborreció antes que a ustedes.
Si el mundo os aborrece, sabed que á mí me aborreció antes que á vosotros.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
Si fueran del mundo, el mundo los amaría. Pero los aborrece porque Yo me los escogí del mundo, y ustedes no son del mundo.
Si fuerais del mundo, el mundo amaría lo suyo; mas porque no sois del mundo, antes yo os elegí del mundo, por eso os aborrece el mundo.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Recuerden la Palabra que Yo les dije: El esclavo no es mayor que su señor. Si me persiguieron, también los perseguirán. Si guardaron mi Palabra, también guardarán la de ustedes.
Acordaos de la palabra que yo os he dicho: No es el siervo mayor que su señor. Si á mí me han perseguido, también á vosotros perseguirán: si han guardado mi palabra, también guardarán la vuestra.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his lord.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
Pero todas estas cosas les harán por causa de mi Nombre, porque no conocieron a Quien me envió.
Mas todo esto os harán por causa de mi nombre, porque no conocen al que me ha enviado.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
But they will do all these things to you for my name’s sake, because they don’t know him who sent me.
Si no hubiera venido ni les hubiera hablado, tendrían excusa por su pecado. Pero ahora no tienen excusa por su pecado.
Si no hubiera venido, ni les hubiera hablado, no tendrían pecado, mas ahora no tienen excusa de su pecado.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
El que me aborrece, también aborrece a mi Padre.
El que me aborrece, también á mi Padre aborrece.
He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
He who hates me, hates my Father also.
Si no hubiera hecho entre ellos las obras que ningún otro hizo, no tendrían pecado. Pero ahora, han visto y han aborrecido tanto a Mí como a mi Padre.
Si no hubiese hecho entre ellos obras cuales ningún otro ha hecho, no tendrían pecado; mas ahora, y las han visto, y me aborrecen á mí y á mi Padre.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
If I hadn’t done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn’t have had sin. But now they have seen and also hated both me and my Father.
Pero esto sucedió para que se cumpliera la Palabra escrita en su Ley: Me aborrecen sin causa.
Mas para que se cumpla la palabra que está escrita en su ley: Que sin causa me aborrecieron.
But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law, ‘They hated me without a cause.’
Cuando venga el Intercesor, a Quien Yo les enviaré del Padre, el Espíritu de la Verdad, Quien procede del Padre, Él dará testimonio de Mí.
Empero cuando viniere el Consolador, el cual yo os enviaré del Padre, el Espíritu de verdad, el cual procede del Padre, él dará testimonio de mí.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
“When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
Ustedes también dan testimonio, porque están conmigo desde un principio.
Y vosotros daréis testimonio, porque estáis conmigo desde el principio.
And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
You will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.
