Das Weib, wenn sie gebiert, hat Traurigkeit, weil ihre Stunde gekommen ist; wenn sie aber das Kind geboren hat, gedenkt sie nicht mehr der Drangsal, um der Freude willen, daß ein Mensch zur Welt geboren ist.
La mujer cuando pare, tiene dolor, porque es venida su hora; mas después que ha parido un niño, ya no se acuerda de la angustia, por el gozo de que haya nacido un hombre en el mundo.
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world.
