ESTAS cosas os he hablado, para que no os escandalicéis.
These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
“I have said these things to you so that you wouldn’t be caused to stumble.
Ils vous excluront des synagogues ; même l'heure vient où quiconque vous fera mourir croira rendre un culte à Dieu.
Os echarán de las sinagogas; y aun viene la hora, cuando cualquiera que os matare, pensará que hace servicio á Dios.
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers service to God.
Et ils feront ces choses, parce qu'ils n'ont connu ni le Père ni moi.
Y estas cosas os harán, porque no conocen al Padre ni á mí.
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
They will do these things because they have not known the Father nor me.
Mais je vous ai dit ces choses, afin que, quand l'heure en sera venue, vous vous souveniez que je vous les ai dites. Or, je ne vous les ai pas dites dès le commencement, parce que j'étais avec vous.
Mas os he dicho esto, para que cuando aquella hora viniere, os acordéis que yo os lo había dicho. Esto empero no os lo dije al principio, porque yo estaba con vosotros.
But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
But I have told you these things so that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you about them. I didn’t tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.
Mais maintenant je m'en vais à Celui qui m'a envoyé, et aucun de vous ne me demande : Où vas-tu ?
Mas ahora voy al que me envió; y ninguno de vosotros me pregunta: ¿Adónde vas?
But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’
mais parce que je vous ai dit ces choses, la tristesse a rempli votre cœur.
Antes, porque os he hablado estas cosas, tristeza ha henchido vuestro corazón.
But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
But because I have told you these things, sorrow has filled your heart.
Toutefois je vous dis la vérité : il vous est avantageux que je m'en aille ; car si je ne m'en vais, l'aide ne viendra point à vous ; mais quand je m'en serai allé, je vous l'enverrai.
Empero yo os digo la verdad: Os es necesario que yo vaya: porque si yo no fuese, el Consolador no vendría á vosotros; mas si yo fuere, os le enviaré.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
Et quand il sera venu, il convaincra le monde de péché et de justice et de jugement ;
Y cuando él viniere redargüirá al mundo de pecado, y de justicia, y de juicio:
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment;
de péché, parce qu'ils ne croient pas en moi ;
De pecado ciertamente, por cuanto no creen en mí;
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
about sin, because they don’t believe in me;
de justice, parce que je m'en vais à mon Père et que vous ne me verrez plus ;
Y de justicia, por cuanto voy al Padre, y no me veréis más;
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
about righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you won’t see me any more;
de jugement, parce que le prince de ce monde est jugé.
Y de juicio, por cuanto el príncipe de este mundo es juzgado.
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.
J'ai encore beaucoup de choses à vous dire, mais vous ne pouvez pas les porter maintenant.
Aun tengo muchas cosas que deciros, mas ahora no las podéis llevar.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
“I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.
Mais quand celui-là sera venu, l'Esprit de vérité, il vous conduira dans toute la vérité ; car il ne parlera pas de son chef, mais il dira tout ce qu'il aura entendu, et il vous annoncera les choses à venir.
Pero cuando viniere aquel Espíritu de verdad, él os guiará á toda verdad; porque no hablará de sí mismo, sino que hablará todo lo que oyere, y os hará saber las cosas que han de venir.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.
C'est lui qui me glorifiera, parce qu'il prendra de ce qui est à moi et vous l'annoncera.
El me glorificará: porque tomará de lo mío, y os lo hará saber.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine and will declare it to you.
Tout ce que le Père a, est à moi ; c'est pourquoi je vous ai dit qu'il prend de ce qui est à moi, et qu'il vous l'annoncera.
Todo lo que tiene el Padre, mío es: por eso dije que tomará de lo mío, y os lo hará saber.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
All things that the Father has are mine; therefore I said that he takes of mine and will declare it to you.
Encore un peu de temps, et vous ne me verrez plus ; puis encore un peu de temps, et vous me verrez, parce que je m'en vais au Père.
Un poquito, y no me veréis; y otra vez un poquito, y me veréis: porque yo voy al Padre.
A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
“A little while, and you will not see me. Again a little while, and you will see me.”
Quelques-uns de ses disciples se dirent donc les uns aux autres : Que signifie ce qu'il nous dit : Encore un peu de temps, et vous ne me verrez pas ; puis encore un peu de temps, et vous me verrez ; et : Parce que je m'en vais au Père ?
Entonces dijeron algunos de sus discípulos unos á otros: ¿Qué es esto que nos dice: Un poquito, y no me veréis; y otra vez un poquito, y me veréis: y, porque yo voy al Padre?
Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, “What is this that he says to us, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;’ and, ‘Because I go to the Father’?”
Ils disaient donc : Que signifie ce qu'il dit : Un peu de temps ? Nous ne savons de quoi il parle.
Decían pues: ¿Qué es esto que dice: Un poquito? No entendemos lo que habla.
They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.
They said therefore, “What is this that he says, ‘A little while’? We don’t know what he is saying.”
Jésus connut qu'ils voulaient l'interroger, et il leur dit : Vous discutez entre vous sur ce que j'ai dit : Encore un peu de temps, et vous ne me verrez plus, puis encore un peu de temps, et vous me verrez.
Y conoció Jesús que le querían preguntar, y díjoles: ¿Preguntáis entre vosotros de esto que dije: Un poquito, y no me veréis, y otra vez un poquito, y me veréis?
Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
Therefore Jesus perceived that they wanted to ask him, and he said to them, “Do you inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me’?
En vérité, en vérité, je vous dis que vous pleurerez et vous lamenterez, mais le monde se réjouira ; vous, vous serez dans la tristesse, mais votre tristesse sera changée en joie.
De cierto, de cierto os digo, que vosotros lloraréis y lamentaréis, y el mundo se alegrará: empero aunque vosotros estaréis tristes, vuestra tristeza se tornará en gozo.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
Most certainly I tell you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.
La femme, quand elle enfante, éprouve de la tristesse, parce que son heure est venue ; mais dès qu'elle a mis au monde le petit enfant, elle ne se souvient plus de son angoisse, à cause de la joie qu'elle a de ce qu'un homme est né dans le monde.
La mujer cuando pare, tiene dolor, porque es venida su hora; mas después que ha parido un niño, ya no se acuerda de la angustia, por el gozo de que haya nacido un hombre en el mundo.
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world.
Vous donc aussi, vous êtes maintenant dans la tristesse ; mais je vous verrai de nouveau, et votre cœur se réjouira, et personne ne vous ravira votre joie.
También, pues, vosotros ahora ciertamente tenéis tristeza; mas otra vez os veré, y se gozará vuestro corazón, y nadie quitará de vosotros vuestro gozo.
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
Et en ce jour-là vous ne m'interrogerez sur rien. En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, si vous demandez quelque chose au Père, il vous le donnera en mon nom.
Y aquel día no me preguntaréis nada. De cierto, de cierto os digo, que todo cuanto pidiereis al Padre en mi nombre, os lo dará.
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
“In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
Jusqu'à présent, vous n'avez rien demandé en mon nom ; demandez, et vous recevrez, afin que votre joie soit accomplie.
Hasta ahora nada habéis pedido en mi nombre: pedid, y recibiréis, para que vuestro gozo sea cumplido.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
Je vous ai dit ces choses en termes figurés ; l'heure vient où je ne vous parlerai plus en termes figurés, mais où je vous annoncerai ouvertement ce qui concerne le Père.
Estas cosas os he hablado en proverbios: la hora viene cuando ya no os hablaré por proverbios, pero claramente os anunciaré del Padre.
These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
“I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father.
En ce jour-là, vous demanderez en mon nom, et je ne vous dis pas que je prierai le Père pour vous,
Aquel día pediréis en mi nombre: y no os digo, que yo rogaré al Padre por vosotros;
At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you that I will pray to the Father for you,
car le Père lui-même vous aime, parce que vous m'avez aimé, et que vous avez cru que je suis sorti d'auprès de Dieu.
Pues el mismo Padre os ama, porque vosotros me amasteis, y habéis creído que yo salí de Dios.
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God.
Je suis sorti d'auprès du Père, et je suis venu dans le monde ; de nouveau je laisse le monde, et je vais au Père.
Salí del Padre, y he venido al mundo: otra vez dejo el mundo, y voy al Padre.
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”
Ses disciples disent : Voici, maintenant, tu parles ouvertement et tu ne te sers pas de termes figurés ;
Dícenle sus discípulos: He aquí, ahora hablas claramente, y ningún proverbio dices.
His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
His disciples said to him, “Behold, now you are speaking plainly, and using no figures of speech.
maintenant, nous savons que tu sais toutes choses, et que tu n'as pas besoin que personne t'interroge ; c'est pour cela que nous croyons que tu es venu de Dieu.
Ahora entendemos que sabes todas las cosas, y no necesitas que nadie te pregunte: en esto creemos que has salido de Dios.
Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
Now we know that you know all things, and don’t need for anyone to question you. By this we believe that you came from God.”
Jésus leur répondit : Maintenant vous croyez !
Respondióles Jesús: ¿Ahora creéis?
Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?
Voici, l'heure vient, et elle est déjà venue, où vous serez dispersés, chacun de son côté, et où vous me laisserez seul ; mais je ne suis pas seul, parce que le Père est avec moi.
He aquí, la hora viene, y ha venido, que seréis esparcidos cada uno por su parte, y me dejaréis solo: mas no estoy solo, porque el Padre está conmigo.
Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
Behold, the time is coming, yes, and has now come, that you will be scattered, everyone to his own place, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
Je vous ai dit ces choses afin qu'en moi vous ayez la paix ; dans le monde, vous avez de l'affliction ; mais prenez courage, j'ai vaincu le monde.
Estas cosas os he hablado, para que en mí tengáis paz. En el mundo tendréis aflicción: mas confiad, yo he vencido al mundo.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
