These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
Jesus said these things, then lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you;
pues le has dado poder sobre todo el linaje humano, para que dé la vida eterna a todos los que le has señalado.
Como le has dado la potestad de toda carne, para que dé vida eterna á todos los que le diste.
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
Y la vida eterna consiste en conocerte a ti, único Dios verdadero, y a Jesucristo, a quien tú enviaste.
Esta empero es la vida eterna: que te conozcan el solo Dios verdadero, y á Jesucristo, al cual has enviado.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
Yo por mí te he glorificado en la tierra; tengo acabada la obra, cuya ejecución me encomendaste.

I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Ahora glorifícame tú, ¡oh Padre!, en ti mismo, con aquella gloria que como Dios tuve yo en ti antes que el mundo fuese.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Yo he manifestado tu nombre a los hombres que me has dado salvándolos del mundo. Tuyos eran, y me los diste, y ellos han puesto por obra tu palabra.

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
“I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.
Ahora han conocido que todo lo que me diste, viene de ti.
Ahora han conocido que todas las cosas que me diste, son de ti;
Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

Porque yo les di las palabras, que tú me diste; y ellos las han recibido, y han reconocido verdaderamente que yo salí de ti, y han creído que tú eres el que me ha enviado.
Porque las palabras que me diste, les he dado; y ellos las recibieron, y han conocido verdaderamente que salí de ti, y han creído que tú me enviaste.
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
for the words which you have given me I have given to them; and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.
Por ellos ruego yo ahora. No ruego por el mundo, sino por éstos que me diste, porque tuyos son:

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
I pray for them. I don’t pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
Y todas mis cosas son tuyas, como las tuyas son mías; y en ellos he sido glorificado.
Y todas mis cosas son tus cosas, y tus cosas son mis cosas: y he sido glorificado en ellas.
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Yo ya no estoy más en el mundo, pero éstos quedan en el mundo; yo estoy de partida para ti. ¡Oh Padre santo!, guarda en tu Nombre a éstos que tú me has dado, a fin de que sean una misma cosa por la caridad, así como nosotros lo somos en la naturaleza.
Y ya no estoy en el mundo; mas éstos están en el mundo, y yo á ti vengo. Padre santo, á los que me has dado, guárdalos por tu nombre, para que sean una cosa, como también nosotros.
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Mientras estaba yo con ellos, yo los defendía en tu Nombre. He guardado los que tú me diste y ninguno de ellos se ha perdido sino el hijo de la perdición, cumpliéndose así la Escritura.
Cuando estaba con ellos en el mundo, yo los guardaba en tu nombre; á los que me diste, yo los guardé, y ninguno de ellos se perdió, sino el hijo de perdición; para que la Escritura se cumpliese.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Mas ahora vengo a ti; y digo esto estando todavía en el mundo, a fin de que ellos tengan en sí mismos el gozo que tengo yo.

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

Santifícalos en la verdad. La palabra tuya es la verdad misma.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Así como tú me has enviado al mundo, así yo los he enviado también a ellos al mundo.
Como tú me enviaste al mundo, también los he enviado al mundo.
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.
Y yo por amor de ellos me santifico, me ofrezco por víctima, a mí mismo; con el fin de que ellos sean santificados en la verdad.
Y por ellos yo me santifico á mí mismo, para que también ellos sean santificados en verdad.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
“Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word,
ruego que todos sean una misma cosa; y que como tú, ¡oh Padre!, estás en mí, y yo en ti, así sean ellos una misma cosa en nosotros, para que crea el mundo que tú me has enviado.
Para que todos sean una cosa; como tú, oh Padre, en mí, y yo en ti, que también ellos sean en nosotros una cosa: para que el mundo crea que tú me enviaste.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Yo les he dado ya parte de la gloria que tú me diste, para que en cierta manera sean una misma cosa, como lo somos nosotros.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Yo estoy en ellos, y tú estás siempre en mí, a fin de que sean consumados en la unidad, y conozca el mundo que tú me has enviado, y los amas a ellos, como a mí me amaste.
Yo en ellos, y tú en mí, para que sean consumadamente una cosa; que el mundo conozca que tú me enviaste, y que los has amado, como también á mí me has amado.
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

¡Oh Padre!, yo deseo ardientemente que aquellos que tú me has dado, estén conmigo allí mismo donde yo estoy para que contemplen mi gloria, cual tú me la has dado; porque tú me amaste desde antes de la creación del mundo.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

¡Oh Padre justo!, el mundo no te ha conocido; yo sí que te he conocido; y éstos han conocido que tú me enviaste.

O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Righteous Father, the world hasn’t known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me.
Yo por mi parte les he dado y daré a conocer tu nombre, para que el amor con que me amaste, en ellos esté, y yo mismo esté en ellos.
Y yo les he manifestado tu nombre, y manifestarélo aún; para que el amor con que me has amado, esté en ellos, y yo en ellos.
And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
