Jesús le ordenó a Pedro: ―¡Guarda esa espada en su funda! Si mi Padre me da a beber un trago amargo, ¿acaso no lo voy a beber?

Jesús entonces dijo á Pedro: Mete tu espada en la vaina: el vaso que el Padre me ha dado, ¿no lo tengo de beber?

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Jesus therefore said to Peter, “Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”
