C'était afin que fût accomplie la parole que Jésus avait dite, indiquant de quelle mort il devait mourir.

Para que se cumpliese el dicho de Jesús, que había dicho, dando á entender de qué muerte había de morir.

That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.
