Então, Pilatos tomou Jesus e mandou chicoteá-Lo.

ASÍ que, entonces tomó Pilato á Jesús, y le azotó.

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.

So Pilate then took Jesus and flogged him.
