Danach bat Pilatus Joseph von Arimathia, der ein Jünger Jesu war, doch heimlich, aus Furcht vor den Juden, daß er möchte abnehmen den Leichnam Jesu. Und Pilatus erlaubte es. Da kam er und nahm den Leichnam Jesu herab.

Y vinieron los soldados, y quebraron las piernas al primero, y asimismo al otro que había sido crucificado con él.

Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.

Therefore the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with him;
