Jesus foi pois trazido para fora, levando a coroa de espinhos, e a roupa vermelha-roxa. E Pilatos disse-lhes: Eis aqui o homem.

Y salió Jesús fuera, llevando la corona de espinas y la ropa de grana. Y díceles Pilato: He aquí el hombre.

Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

Jesus therefore came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple garment. Pilate said to them, “Behold, the man!”
