Y le preguntaron, y le dijeron: ¿Por qué, por lo tanto, bautizas, si tú no eres el Cristo, ni Elías, ni el profeta?

Y preguntáronle, y dijéronle: ¿Por qué pues bautizas, si tú no eres el Cristo, ni Elías, ni el profeta?

And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?

They asked him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”
