El primer día de la semana, al amanecer, cuando todavía estaba oscuro, fue María Magdalena al sepulcro, y vio quitada de él la piedra;

Y EL primer día de la semana, María Magdalena vino de mañana, siendo aún obscuro, al sepulcro; y vió la piedra quitada del sepulcro.

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went early, while it was still dark, to the tomb, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

y sorprendida echó a correr, y fue a estar con Simón Pedro y con aquel otro discípulo amado de Jesús , y les dijo: Se han llevado del sepulcro al Señor, y no sabemos dónde le han puesto.

Entonces corrió, y vino á Simón Pedro, y al otro discípulo, al cual amaba Jesús, y les dice: Han llevado al Señor del sepulcro, y no sabemos dónde le han puesto.

Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have laid him!”

Con esta nueva salió Pedro y el dicho discípulo, y se encaminaron al sepulcro.

Y salió Pedro, y el otro discípulo, y vinieron al sepulcro.

Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

Therefore Peter and the other disciple went out, and they went toward the tomb.

Corrían ambos a la par, mas este otro discípulo corrió más aprisa que Pedro, y llegó primero al sepulcro;

Y corrían los dos juntos; mas el otro discípulo corrió más presto que Pedro, y llegó primero al sepulcro.

So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first.

y habiéndose inclinado, vio los lienzos en el suelo, pero no entró.

Y bajándose á mirar, vió los lienzos echados; mas no entró.

And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he didn’t enter in.

Llegó tras él Simón Pedro, y entró en el sepulcro, y vio los lienzos en el suelo,

Llegó luego Simón Pedro siguiéndole, y entró en el sepulcro, y vió los lienzos echados,

Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying,

y el sudario o pañuelo que habían puesto sobre la cabeza de Jesús , no junto con los demás lienzos, sino separado y doblado en otro lugar.

Y el sudario, que había estado sobre su cabeza, no puesto con los lienzos, sino envuelto en un lugar aparte.

And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

and the cloth that had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.

Entonces el otro discípulo, que había llegado primero al sepulcro, entró también, y vio, y creyó que efectivamente le habían quitado;

Y entonces entró también el otro discípulo, que había venido primero al sepulcro, y vió, y creyó.

Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed.

porque aún no habían entendido lo que dice la Escritura, que Jesús debía resucitar de entre los muertos.

Porque aun no sabían la Escritura, que era necesario que él resucitase de los muertos.

For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

Con esto los discípulos se volvieron otra vez a casa.

Y volvieron los discípulos á los suyos.

Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

So the disciples went away again to their own homes.

Entretanto María Magdalena estaba fuera llorando, cerca del sepulcro. Con las lágrimas, pues, en los ojos se inclinó a mirar al sepulcro.

Empero María estaba fuera llorando junto al sepulcro: y estando llorando, bajóse á mirar el sepulcro;

But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

But Mary was standing outside at the tomb weeping. So as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb,

Y vio a dos ángeles, vestidos de blanco, sentados, uno a la cabecera, y otro a los pies, donde estuvo colocado el cuerpo de Jesús .

Y vió dos ángeles en ropas blancas que estaban sentados, el uno á la cabecera, y el otro á los pies, donde el cuerpo de Jesús había sido puesto.

And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

Le dijeron ellos: Mujer, ¿por qué lloras? Les respondió: Porque se han llevado de aquí a mi Señor; y no sé dónde le han puesto.

Y dijéronle: Mujer, ¿por qué lloras? Díceles: Porque se han llevado á mi Señor, y no sé dónde le han puesto.

And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

They asked her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid him.”

Dicho esto volviéndose hacia atrás, vio a Jesús en pie; mas no conocía que fuese Jesús .

Y como hubo dicho esto, volvióse atrás, y vió á Jesús que estaba allí; mas no sabía que era Jesús.

And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, and didn’t know that it was Jesus.

Le dijo Jesús : Mujer, ¿por qué lloras?; ¿a quién buscas? Ella suponiendo que sería el hortelano, le dice: Señor, si tú le has quitado, dime dónde le pusiste; y yo me lo llevaré.

Dícele Jesús: Mujer, ¿por qué lloras? ¿á quién buscas? Ella, pensando que era el hortelano, dícele: Señor, si tú lo has llevado, dime dónde lo has puesto, y yo lo llevaré.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”

Le dijo Jesús : María. Se volvió ella al instante, y le dijo: Rabboni (que quiere decir, Maestro).

Dícele Jesús: ¡María! Volviéndose ella, dícele: ¡Rabboni! que quiere decir, Maestro.

Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabboni!” which is to say, “Teacher!”

Le dijo Jesús : No me toques más, porque no he subido todavía a mi Padre; mas anda, ve a mis hermanos, y diles de mi parte: Subo a mi Padre y vuestro Padre; a mi Dios y vuestro Dios.

Dícele Jesús: No me toques: porque aun no he subido á mi Padre: mas ve á mis hermanos, y diles: Subo á mi Padre y á vuestro Padre, á mi Dios y á vuestro Dios.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Fue, pues, María Magdalena a dar parte a los discípulos, diciendo: He visto al Señor, y me ha dicho esto.

Fué María Magdalena dando las nuevas á los discípulos de que había visto al Señor, y que él le había dicho estas cosas.

Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

Aquel mismo día primero de la semana, siendo ya muy tarde, y estando cerradas las puertas de la casa, donde se hallaban reunidos los discípulos por miedo de los judíos, vino Jesús , y apareciéndose en medio de ellos, les dijo: La paz sea con vosotros.

Y como fué tarde aquel día, el primero de la semana, y estando las puertas cerradas donde los discípulos estaban juntos por miedo de los Judíos, vino Jesús, y púsose en medio, y díjoles: Paz á vosotros.

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

When therefore it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle and said to them, “Peace be to you.”

Dicho esto, les mostró las manos y el costado. Se llenaron de gozo los discípulos con la vista del Señor.

Y como hubo dicho esto, mostróles las manos y el costado. Y los discípulos se gozaron viendo al Señor.

And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord.

El cual les repitió: La paz sea con vosotros. Como mi Padre me envió, así os envío también a vosotros.

Entonces les dijo Jesús otra vez: Paz á vosotros; como me envió el Padre, así también yo os envío.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”

Dichas estas palabras, alentó, o dirigió el aliento, hacia ellos; y les dijo: Recibid el Espíritu Santo,

Y como hubo dicho esto, sopló, y díjoles: Tomad el Espíritu Santo:

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

quedan perdonados los pecados a aquellos a quienes los perdonareis; y quedan retenidos a los que se los retuvieres.

A los que remitiereis los pecados, les son remitidos: á quienes los retuviereis, serán retenidos.

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

If you forgive anyone’s sins, they have been forgiven them. If you retain anyone’s sins, they have been retained.”

Tomás, uno de los doce, llamado Dídimo, no estaba con ellos cuando vino Jesús .

Le dijeron después los otros discípulos: Hemos visto al Señor. Mas él les respondió: Si yo no veo en sus manos la hendidura de los clavos, y no meto mi dedo en el agujero que en ellas hicieron, y mi mano en la llaga de su costado, no lo creeré.

Dijéronle pues los otros discípulos: Al Señor hemos visto. Y él les dijo: Si no viere en sus manos la señal de los clavos, y metiere mi dedo en el lugar de los clavos, y metiere mi mano en su costado, no creeré.

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Ocho días después, estaban otra vez los discípulos en el mismo lugar, y Tomás con ellos, vino Jesús estando también cerradas las puertas, y se les puso en medio, y dijo: La paz sea con vosotros.

Y ocho días después, estaban otra vez sus discípulos dentro, y con ellos Tomás. Vino Jesús, las puertas cerradas, y púsose en medio, y dijo: Paz á vosotros.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

After eight days, again his disciples were inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the middle, and said, “Peace be to you.”

Después dice a Tomás: Mete aquí tu dedo, y registra mis manos, y trae tu mano y métela en mi costado, y no seáis incrédulo, sino fiel.

Luego dice á Tomás: Mete tu dedo aquí, y ve mis manos: y alarga acá tu mano, y métela en mi costado: y no seas incrédulo, sino fiel.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Then he said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.”

Respondió Tomás, y le dijo: ¡Señor mío, y Dios mío!

Entonces Tomás respondió, y díjole: ¡Señor mío, y Dios mío!

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”

Le dijo Jesús : Tú has creído, ¡oh Tomás!, porque me has visto: bienaventurados aquellos que sin haberme visto han creído.

Dícele Jesús: Porque me has visto, Tomás, creiste: bienaventurados los que no vieron y creyeron.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

Muchos otros milagros hizo también Jesús en presencia de sus discípulos, que no están escritos en este libro.

Y también hizo Jesús muchas otras señales en presencia de sus discípulos, que no están escritas en este libro.

And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;

Pero éstos se han escrito con el fin de que creáis que Jesús es el Cristo , el Hijo de Dios; y para que, creyendo, tengáis vida eterna, en virtud de su nombre.

Estas empero son escritas, para que creáis que Jesús es el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios; y para que creyendo, tengáis vida en su nombre.

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
