1Darnach offenbarte sich Jesus abermals den Jüngern an den Meer bei Tiberias. Er offenbarte sich aber also:
2Es waren beieinander Simon Petrus und Thomas, der da heißt Zwilling, und Nathanael von Kana in Galiläa und die Söhne des Zebedäus und andere zwei seiner Jünger.
3Spricht Simon Petrus zu ihnen: Ich will hin fischen gehen. Sie sprechen zu ihm: So wollen wir mit dir gehen. Sie gingen hinaus und traten in das Schiff alsobald; und in derselben Nacht fingen sie nichts.
4Da aber jetzt Morgen war, stand Jesus am Ufer; aber die Jünger wußten nicht, daß es Jesus war.
5Spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Kinder, habt ihr nichts zu essen? Sie antworteten ihm: Nein.
6Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Werfet das Netz zur Rechten des Schiffs, so werdet ihr finden. Da warfen sie, und konnten's nicht mehr ziehen vor der Menge der Fische.
7Da spricht der Jünger, welchen Jesus liebhatte, zu Petrus: Es ist der HERR! Da Simon Petrus hörte, daß es der HERR war, gürtete er das Hemd um sich (denn er war nackt) und warf sich ins Meer.
8Die andern Jünger aber kamen auf dem Schiff (denn sie waren nicht ferne vom Lande, sondern bei zweihundert Ellen) und zogen das Netz mit den Fischen.
9Als sie nun austraten auf das Land, sahen sie Kohlen gelegt und Fische darauf und Brot.
10Spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Bringt her von den Fischen, die ihr jetzt gefangen habt!
11Simon Petrus stieg hinein und zog das Netz auf das Land voll großer Fische, hundert und dreiundfünfzig. Und wiewohl ihrer so viel waren, zerriß das Netz nicht.
12Spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Kommt und haltet das Mahl! Niemand aber unter den Jüngern wagte, ihn zu fragen: Wer bist du? denn sie wußten, daß es der HERR war.
13Da kommt Jesus und nimmt das Brot und gibt es ihnen, desgleichen auch die Fische.
14Das ist nun das drittemal, daß Jesus offenbart war seinen Jüngern, nachdem er von den Toten auferstanden war.
15Da sie nun das Mahl gehalten hatten, spricht Jesus zu Simon Petrus: Simon Jona, hast du mich lieber, denn mich diese haben? Er spricht zu ihm: Ja, HERR, du weißt, daß ich dich liebhabe. Spricht er zu ihm: Weide meine Lämmer!
16Spricht er wider zum andernmal zu ihm: Simon Jona, hast du mich lieb? Er spricht zu ihm: Ja, HERR, du weißt, daß ich dich liebhabe. Spricht Jesus zu ihm: Weide meine Schafe!
17Spricht er zum drittenmal zu ihm: Simon Jona, hast du mich lieb? Petrus ward traurig, daß er zum drittenmal zu ihm sagte: Hast du mich lieb? und sprach zu ihm: HERR, du weißt alle Dinge, du weißt, daß ich dich liebhabe. Spricht Jesus zu ihm: Weide meine Schafe!
18Wahrlich, wahrlich ich sage dir: Da du jünger warst, gürtetest du dich selbst und wandeltest, wohin du wolltest; wenn du aber alt wirst, wirst du deine Hände ausstrecken, und ein anderer wird dich gürten und führen, wohin du nicht willst.
19Das sagte er aber, zu deuten, mit welchem Tode er Gott preisen würde. Und da er das gesagt, spricht er zu ihm: Folge mir nach!
20Petrus aber wandte sich um und sah den Jünger folgen, welchen Jesus liebhatte, der auch an seiner Brust beim Abendessen gelegen war und gesagt hatte: HERR, wer ist's, der dich verrät?
21Da Petrus diesen sah, spricht er zu Jesus: HERR, was soll aber dieser?
22Jesus spricht zu ihm: So ich will, daß er bleibe, bis ich komme, was geht es dich an? Folge du mir nach!
23Da ging eine Rede aus unter den Brüdern: Dieser Jünger stirbt nicht. Und Jesus sprach nicht zu ihm: “Er stirbt nicht”, sondern: “So ich will, daß er bleibe, bis ich komme, was geht es dich an?”
24Dies ist der Jünger, der von diesen Dingen zeugt und dies geschrieben hat; und wir wissen, daß sein Zeugnis wahrhaftig ist.
25Es sind auch viele andere Dinge, die Jesus getan hat; so sie aber sollten eins nach dem andern geschrieben werden, achte ich, die Welt würde die Bücher nicht fassen, die zu schreiben wären.

1DESPUÉS se manifestó Jesús otra vez á sus discípulos en la mar de Tiberias; y manifestóse de esta manera.
2Estaban juntos Simón Pedro, y Tomás, llamado el Dídimo, y Natanael, el que era de Caná de Galilea, y los hijos de Zebedeo, y otros dos de sus discípulos.
3Díceles Simón: A pescar voy. Dícenle: Vamos nosotros también contigo. Fueron, y subieron en una barca; y aquella noche no cogieron nada.
4Y venida la mañana, Jesús se puso á la ribera: mas los discípulos no entendieron que era Jesús.
5Y díjoles: Mozos, ¿tenéis algo de comer? Respondiéronle: No.
6Y él les dice: Echad la red á la mano derecha del barco, y hallaréis. Entonces la echaron, y no la podían en ninguna manera sacar, por la multitud de los peces.
7Entonces aquel discípulo, al cual amaba Jesús, dijo á Pedro: El Señor es. Y Simón Pedro, como oyó que era el Señor, ciñóse la ropa, porque estaba desnudo, y echóse á la mar.
8Y los otros discípulos vinieron con el barco (porque no estaban lejos de tierra sino como doscientos codos), trayendo la red de peces.
9Y como descendieron á tierra, vieron ascuas puestas, y un pez encima de ellas, y pan.
10Díceles Jesús: Traed de los peces que cogisteis ahora.
11Subió Simón Pedro, y trajo la red á tierra, llena de grandes peces, ciento cincuenta y tres: y siendo tantos, la red no se rompió.
12Díceles Jesús: Venid, comed. Y ninguno de los discípulos osaba preguntarle: ¿Tú, quién eres? sabiendo que era el Señor.
13Viene pues Jesús, y toma el pan, y les da; y asimismo del pez.
14Esta era ya la tercera vez que Jesús se manifestó á sus discípulos, habiendo resucitado de los muertos.
15Y cuando hubieron comido, Jesús dijo á Simón Pedro: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas más que éstos? Dícele: Sí, Señor: tú sabes que te amo. Dícele: Apacienta mis corderos.
16Vuélvele á decir la segunda vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Respóndele: Sí, Señor: tú sabes que te amo. Dícele: Apacienta mis ovejas.
17Dícele la tercera vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Entristecióse Pedro de que le dijese la tercera vez: ¿Me amas? y dícele: Señor, tú sabes todas las cosas; tú sabes que te amo. Dícele Jesús: Apacienta mis ovejas.
18De cierto, de cierto te digo: Cuando eras más mozo, te ceñías, é ibas donde querías; mas cuando ya fueres viejo, extenderás tus manos, y te ceñirá otro, y te llevará á donde no quieras.
19Y esto dijo, dando á entender con qué muerte había de glorificar á Dios. Y dicho esto, dícele: Sígueme.
20Volviéndose Pedro, ve á aquel discípulo al cual amaba Jesús, que seguía, el que también se había recostado á su pecho en la cena, y le había dicho: Señor, ¿quién es el que te ha de entregar?
21Así que Pedro vió á éste, dice á Jesús: Señor, ¿y éste, qué?
22Dícele Jesús: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga, ¿qué á tí? Sígueme tú.
23Salió entonces este dicho entre los hermanos, que aquel discípulo no había de morir. Mas Jesús no le dijo, No morirá; sino: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga ¿qué á ti?
24Este es aquel discípulo que da testimonio de estas cosas, y escribió estas cosas: y sabemos que su testimonio es verdadero.
25Y hay también otras muchas cosas que hizo Jesús, que si se escribiesen cada una por sí, ni aun en el mundo pienso que cabrían los libros que se habrían de escribir. Amén.

1After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
5Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
7Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
8And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
9As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
10Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
11Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
13Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
14This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
15So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
18Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
19This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
20Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
22Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
24This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
25And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

1After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.
2Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.
3Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.” They told him, “We are also coming with you.” They immediately went out and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.
4But when day had already come, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples didn’t know that it was Jesus.
5Jesus therefore said to them, “Children, have you anything to eat?” They answered him, “No.”
6He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” They cast it therefore, and now they weren’t able to draw it in for the multitude of fish.
7That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around himself (for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea.
8But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away), dragging the net full of fish.
9So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, with fish and bread laid on it.
10Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”
11Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of one hundred fifty-three great fish. Even though there were so many, the net wasn’t torn.
12Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast!” None of the disciples dared inquire of him, “Who are you?” knowing that it was the Lord.
13Then Jesus came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.
14This is now the third time that Jesus was revealed to his disciples after he had risen from the dead.
15So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.”
16He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.”
17He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?” Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time, “Do you have affection for me?” He said to him, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.
18Most certainly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you don’t want to go.”
19Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, “Follow me.”
20Then Peter, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Jesus loved, the one who had also leaned on Jesus’ chest at the supper and asked, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”
21Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?”
22Jesus said to him, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”
23This saying therefore went out among the brothers that this disciple wouldn’t die. Yet Jesus didn’t say to him that he wouldn’t die, but, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?”
24This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his witness is true.
25There are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they would all be written, I suppose that even the world itself wouldn’t have room for the books that would be written.
