Depois disso Jesus apareceu novamente aos discípulos na beira do mar da Galileia. Foi assim que aconteceu:

DESPUÉS se manifestó Jesús otra vez á sus discípulos en la mar de Tiberias; y manifestóse de esta manera.

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.

After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.

Estava ali um grupo: Simão Pedro; Tomé, chamado Dídimo; Natanael, de Caná da Galileia; os filhos de Zebedeu; além de outros dois discípulos.

Estaban juntos Simón Pedro, y Tomás, llamado el Dídimo, y Natanael, el que era de Caná de Galilea, y los hijos de Zebedeo, y otros dos de sus discípulos.

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

Simão Pedro disse: “Vou pescar”. “Nós vamos também”, disseram os outros. Eles foram, entraram no barco, mas não pegaram nada a noite toda.

Díceles Simón: A pescar voy. Dícenle: Vamos nosotros también contigo. Fueron, y subieron en una barca; y aquella noche no cogieron nada.

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.” They told him, “We are also coming with you.” They immediately went out and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.

Ao amanhecer, Jesus estava na praia, mas os discípulos não podiam perceber quem era.

Y venida la mañana, Jesús se puso á la ribera: mas los discípulos no entendieron que era Jesús.

But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

But when day had already come, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples didn’t know that it was Jesus.

Ele lhes perguntou: “Filhos, pegaram muito peixe?” “Não”, responderam.

Y díjoles: Mozos, ¿tenéis algo de comer? Respondiéronle: No.

Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Children, have you anything to eat?” They answered him, “No.”

Então ele disse: “Atirem a rede do lado direito do barco, que vocês vão conseguir pescar muitos!” Fizeram assim, e não podiam recolher a rede, por causa da enorme quantidade de peixes!

Y él les dice: Echad la red á la mano derecha del barco, y hallaréis. Entonces la echaron, y no la podían en ninguna manera sacar, por la multitud de los peces.

And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” They cast it therefore, and now they weren’t able to draw it in for the multitude of fish.

Então o discípulo a quem Jesus amava disse a Pedro: “É o Senhor!” Nisso Simão Pedro vestiu a capa, porque estava só com a roupa de baixo, saltou na água e nadou até a praia.

Entonces aquel discípulo, al cual amaba Jesús, dijo á Pedro: El Señor es. Y Simón Pedro, como oyó que era el Señor, ciñóse la ropa, porque estaba desnudo, y echóse á la mar.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around himself (for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea.

Os outros discípulos ficaram no barco e puxaram a rede carregada para a praia, distante cerca de 90 metros.

Y los otros discípulos vinieron con el barco (porque no estaban lejos de tierra sino como doscientos codos), trayendo la red de peces.

And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away), dragging the net full of fish.

Quando chegaram, viram uma fogueira acesa com peixe sobre as brasas. Também havia pão.

Y como descendieron á tierra, vieron ascuas puestas, y un pez encima de ellas, y pan.

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, with fish and bread laid on it.

“Tragam um pouco do peixe que vocês acabaram de pegar”, disse Jesus.

Díceles Jesús: Traed de los peces que cogisteis ahora.

Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”

Simão Pedro entrou no barco e arrastou a rede para a praia. Havia 153 peixes grandes; nem assim a rede rebentou!

Subió Simón Pedro, y trajo la red á tierra, llena de grandes peces, ciento cincuenta y tres: y siendo tantos, la red no se rompió.

Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

“Agora venham comer um pouco!”, disse Jesus; e ninguém tinha coragem de perguntar se ele realmente era o Senhor, porque estavam bem certos disso.

Díceles Jesús: Venid, comed. Y ninguno de los discípulos osaba preguntarle: ¿Tú, quién eres? sabiendo que era el Señor.

Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast!” None of the disciples dared inquire of him, “Who are you?” knowing that it was the Lord.

Então Jesus aproximou-se, tomou o pão e o deu a eles, e fez o mesmo com o peixe.

Viene pues Jesús, y toma el pan, y les da; y asimismo del pez.

Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

Then Jesus came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.

Essa foi a terceira vez que Jesus apareceu aos seus discípulos, desde que ressuscitou dos mortos.

Esta era ya la tercera vez que Jesús se manifestó á sus discípulos, habiendo resucitado de los muertos.

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Depois da refeição, Jesus perguntou a Simão Pedro: “Simão, filho de João, você me ama mais do que estes outros?” “Sim”, respondeu Pedro, “o Senhor sabe que eu sou seu amigo”. “Então pastoreie os meus cordeiros”, disse Jesus.

Y cuando hubieron comido, Jesús dijo á Simón Pedro: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas más que éstos? Dícele: Sí, Señor: tú sabes que te amo. Dícele: Apacienta mis corderos.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.”

Jesus repetiu a pergunta: “Simão, filho de João, você me ama de verdade?” “Sim, Senhor”, disse Pedro. “O Senhor sabe que eu sou seu amigo”. “Então cuide das minhas ovelhas”, disse Jesus.

Vuélvele á decir la segunda vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Respóndele: Sí, Señor: tú sabes que te amo. Dícele: Apacienta mis ovejas.

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.”

Mais uma vez ele perguntou: “Simão, filho de João, você é mesmo meu amigo?” Pedro ficou triste porque Jesus fez a pergunta pela terceira vez. “O Senhor conhece todas as coisas; o Senhor sabe quem eu sou”, disse ele. Jesus disse: “Então pastoreie as minhas ovelhas.

Dícele la tercera vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Entristecióse Pedro de que le dijese la tercera vez: ¿Me amas? y dícele: Señor, tú sabes todas las cosas; tú sabes que te amo. Dícele Jesús: Apacienta mis ovejas.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?” Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time, “Do you have affection for me?” He said to him, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.

Quando você era jovem, era capaz de fazer o que gostava, e de ir aonde queria ir; mas quando for velho, você estenderá as mãos, outros guiarão você e o levarão aonde você não quer ir”.

De cierto, de cierto te digo: Cuando eras más mozo, te ceñías, é ibas donde querías; mas cuando ya fueres viejo, extenderás tus manos, y te ceñirá otro, y te llevará á donde no quieras.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

Most certainly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you don’t want to go.”

Jesus disse isso para indicar com que tipo de morte ele iria glorificar a Deus. Depois Jesus disse: “Siga-me”.

Y esto dijo, dando á entender con qué muerte había de glorificar á Dios. Y dicho esto, dícele: Sígueme.

This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, “Follow me.”

Pedro voltou-se e viu seguindo a Jesus o discípulo que ele amava, aquele que se havia reclinado durante a ceia para perguntar a Jesus: “Mestre, qual de nós trairá o Senhor?”

Volviéndose Pedro, ve á aquel discípulo al cual amaba Jesús, que seguía, el que también se había recostado á su pecho en la cena, y le había dicho: Señor, ¿quién es el que te ha de entregar?

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

Then Peter, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Jesus loved, the one who had also leaned on Jesus’ chest at the supper and asked, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”

Pedro perguntou a Jesus: “Senhor, e quanto a ele?”

Así que Pedro vió á éste, dice á Jesús: Señor, ¿y éste, qué?

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?”

Jesus respondeu: “Se eu quiser que ele permaneça vivo até eu voltar, que tem você com isso? Siga-me você”.

Dícele Jesús: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga, ¿qué á tí? Sígueme tú.

Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

Jesus said to him, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”

Portanto, espalhou-se o rumor de que aquele discípulo não morreria! Mas não foi isso absolutamente o que Jesus disse! Ele quis dizer: “Se eu quiser que ele permaneça vivo até que eu volte, que tem você com isso?”

Salió entonces este dicho entre los hermanos, que aquel discípulo no había de morir. Mas Jesús no le dijo, No morirá; sino: Si quiero que él quede hasta que yo venga ¿qué á ti?

Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

This saying therefore went out among the brothers that this disciple wouldn’t die. Yet Jesus didn’t say to him that he wouldn’t die, but, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?”

Eu sou aquele discípulo! Eu sou testemunha destes acontecimentos e os registrei aqui. E todos nós sabemos que o seu testemunho é verdadeiro.

Este es aquel discípulo que da testimonio de estas cosas, y escribió estas cosas: y sabemos que su testimonio es verdadero.

This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

Eu penso que se todos os outros acontecimentos da vida de Jesus também fossem escritos, os livros não poderiam caber no mundo inteiro!

Y hay también otras muchas cosas que hizo Jesús, que si se escribiesen cada una por sí, ni aun en el mundo pienso que cabrían los libros que se habrían de escribir. Amén.

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
