No terceiro dia foi realizado um casamento no povoado em Caná da Galileia. A mãe de Jesus estava ali.

Y AL tercer día hiciéronse unas bodas en Caná de Galilea; y estaba allí la madre de Jesús.

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

The third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there.

Jesus e seus discípulos também foram convidados para o casamento.

Y fué también llamado Jesús y sus discípulos á las bodas.

And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding.

Durante a festa o vinho acabou, e a mãe de Jesus veio a ele e disse: “Eles não têm mais vinho”.

Y faltando el vino, la madre de Jesús le dijo: Vino no tienen.

And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.”

“Mulher, que tenho eu com você?”, disse ele. “Ainda não chegou a minha hora”.

Y dícele Jesús: ¿Qué tengo yo contigo, mujer? aun no ha venido mi hora.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.”

Todavia, a mãe disse aos empregados: “Façam tudo o que ele disser a vocês”.

Su madre dice á los que servían: Haced todo lo que os dijere.

His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.”

Havia ali seis talhas de pedra; elas eram utilizadas nas cerimônias de purificação, e em cada uma cabiam entre 80 e 120 litros.

Y estaban allí seis tinajuelas de piedra para agua, conforme á la purificación de los Judíos, que cabían en cada una dos ó tres cántaros.

And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews’ way of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece.

Então Jesus disse aos empregados: “Encham as talhas de água”. Quando isso foi feito,

Díceles Jesús: Henchid estas tinajuelas de agua. E hinchiéronlas hasta arriba.

Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim.

ele disse: “Tirem um pouco e levem ao mestre de cerimônias”. E eles levaram.

Y díceles: Sacad ahora, y presentad al maestresala. Y presentáronle.

And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.” So they took it.

Quando o mestre de cerimônias experimentou a água, que já tinha sido transformada em vinho, não sabendo de onde vinha (embora os empregados soubessem), chamou o noivo

Y como el maestresala gustó el agua hecha vino, que no sabía de dónde era (mas lo sabían los sirvientes que habían sacado el agua), el maestresala llama al esposo,

When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom

e disse: “O senhor é diferente de todos os outros! Geralmente o dono da festa serve primeiro o vinho melhor, e depois, quando todo mundo está satisfeito e não se importa mais, o vinho inferior é servido. Mas o senhor guardou o melhor para o fim!”

Y dícele: Todo hombre pone primero el buen vino, y cuando están satisfechos, entonces lo que es peor; mas tú has guardado el buen vino hasta ahora.

And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!”

Este milagre em Caná da Galileia foi o primeiro que Jesus realizou. Ele revelou a sua glória, e os seus discípulos creram nele.

Este principio de señales hizo Jesús en Caná de Galilea, y manifestó su gloria; y sus discípulos creyeron en él.

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

Depois desse casamento, ele foi com sua mãe, seus irmãos e seus discípulos passar alguns dias em Cafarnaum.

Después de esto descendió á Capernaum, él, y su madre, y hermanos, y discípulos; y estuvieron allí no muchos días.

After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

Quando chegou a época da comemoração anual da Páscoa dos judeus, Jesus foi para Jerusalém.

Y estaba cerca la Pascua de los Judíos; y subió Jesús á Jerusalem.

And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

No pátio do templo, ele achou os comerciantes vendendo bois, ovelhas e pombos para sacrifícios; e os homens de negócios nas suas mesas, trocando dinheiro.

Y halló en el templo á los que vendían bueyes, y ovejas, y palomas, y á los cambiadores sentados.

And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.

Jesus fez um chicote com umas cordas e expulsou todos do templo, bem como as ovelhas e os bois, espalhando no chão as moedas dos negociantes, virando as mesas deles!

Y hecho un azote de cuerdas, echólos á todos del templo, y las ovejas, y los bueyes; y derramó los dineros de los cambiadores, y trastornó las mesas;

And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

He made a whip of cords and drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money and overthrew their tables.

Depois ele chegou aos homens que vendiam pombos, e disse: “Tirem essas coisas daqui! Não transformem a casa do meu Pai em um mercado!”

Y á los que vendían las palomas, dijo: Quitad de aquí esto, y no hagáis la casa de mi Padre casa de mercado.

And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

To those who sold the doves, he said, “Take these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house a marketplace!”

Então seus discípulos se lembraram desta profecia das Escrituras: “O grande zelo que tenho pela sua casa me consome”.

Entonces se acordaron sus discípulos que está escrito: El celo de tu casa me comió.

And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will eat me up.”

“Que direito o Senhor tem de mandar todos saírem?”, perguntaram os judeus. “Se recebeu essa autoridade de Deus, mostre-nos um milagre que prove isso”.

Y los Judíos respondieron, y dijéronle: ¿Qué señal nos muestras de que haces esto?

Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

The Jews therefore answered him, “What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?”

“Pois bem”, respondeu Jesus. “Destruam este santuário, e em três dias eu o levantarei!”

Respondió Jesús, y díjoles: Destruid este templo, y en tres días lo levantaré.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

“Como?”, exclamaram eles. “Levou 46 anos para construir-se este templo, e o Senhor vai levantá-lo em três dias?”

Dijeron luego los Judíos: En cuarenta y seis años fué este templo edificado, ¿y tú en tres días lo levantarás?

Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

The Jews therefore said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple! Will you raise it up in three days?”

Acontece que o templo do qual ele falava era o seu corpo.

Mas él hablaba del templo de su cuerpo.

But he spake of the temple of his body.

But he spoke of the temple of his body.

Mais tarde, quando Jesus ressuscitou, os seus discípulos se lembraram que ele havia dito isso. Então creram na Escritura e na palavra que Jesus dissera.

Por tanto, cuando resucitó de los muertos, sus discípulos se acordaron que había dicho esto; y creyeron á la Escritura, y á la palabra que Jesús había dicho.

When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

Por causa dos milagres que Jesus fez em Jerusalém durante a comemoração da Páscoa, muitos creram em seu nome.

Y estando en Jerusalem en la Pascua, en el día de la fiesta, muchos creyeron en su nombre, viendo las señales que hacía.

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, observing his signs which he did.

Mas Jesus não confiava neles, porque os conhecia muito bem.

Mas el mismo Jesús no se confiaba á sí mismo de ellos, porque él conocía á todos,

But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

But Jesus didn’t entrust himself to them, because he knew everyone,

Ninguém precisava dar testemunho acerca do homem, pois ele bem conhecia a natureza humana!

Y no tenía necesidad que alguien le diese testimonio del hombre; porque él sabía lo que había en el hombre.

And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

and because he didn’t need for anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
