Ihr selbst könnt mir bezeugen, daß ich gesagt habe: ›Ich bin nicht Christus, sondern bin nur als sein Vorläufer gesandt.‹

Vosotros mismos me sois testigos que dije: Yo no soy el Cristo, sino que soy enviado delante de él.

Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

You yourselves testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before him.’
