Da nun der Herr inneward, daß vor die Pharisaer kommen war, wie Jesus mehr Jünger machte und taufte denn Johannes

DE manera que como Jesús entendió que los Fariseos habían oído que Jesús hacía y bautizaba más discípulos que Juan,

When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

(wiewohl Jesus selber nicht taufte, sondern seine Jünger),

(Aunque Jesús no bautizaba, sino sus discípulos),

verließ er das Land Judaa und zog wieder nach Galilaa.

Dejó á Judea, y fuése otra vez á Galilea.

He left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee.

Er mußte aber durch Samaria reisen.

Y era menester que pasase por Samaria.

And he must needs go through Samaria.

He needed to pass through Samaria.

Da kam er in eine Stadt Samarias, die heißt Sichar, nahe bei dem Dorflein, das Jakob seinem Sohne Joseph gab.

Vino, pues, á una ciudad de Samaria que se llamaba Sichâr, junto á la heredad que Jacob dió á José su hijo.

Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

So he came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

Es war aber daselbst Jakobs Brunnen. Da nun Jesus müde war von der Reise, setzte er sich also auf den Brunnen; und es war urn die sechste Stunde.

Y estaba allí la fuente de Jacob. Pues Jesús, cansado del camino, así se sentó á la fuente. Era como la hora de sexta.

Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

Da kommt ein Weib von Samaria, Wasser zu schopfen. Jesus spricht zu ihr: Gib mir zu trinken!

Vino una mujer de Samaria á sacar agua: y Jesús le dice: Dame de beber.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”

Denn seine Jünger waren in die Stadt gegangen, daß sie Speise kaufeten.

(Porque sus discípulos habían ido á la ciudad á comprar de comer.)

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.

Spricht nun das samaritische Weib zu ihm: Wie bittest du von mir zu trinken, so du ein Jude bist und ich ein samaritisch Weib? (Denn die Juden haben keine Gemeinschaft mit den Samaritern.)

Y la mujer Samaritana le dice: ¿Cómo tú, siendo Judío, me pides á mí de beber, que soy mujer Samaritana? porque los Judíos no se tratan con los Samaritanos.

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, “How is it that you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Wenn du erkennetest die Gabe Gottes, und wer der ist, derzu dir sagt: Gib mir zu trinken, du batest ihn, und er gabe dir lebendiges Wasser.

Respondió Jesús y díjole: Si conocieses el don de Dios, y quién es el que te dice: Dame de beber: tú pedirías de él, y él te daría agua viva.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

Spricht zu ihm das Weib: Herr, hast du doch nichts, damit du schopfest, und der Brunnen ist tief; woher hast du denn lebendig Wasser?

La mujer le dice: Señor, no tienes con qué sacarla, y el pozo es hondo: ¿de dónde, pues, tienes el agua viva?

The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. So where do you get that living water?

Bistdu mehrdenn unser Vater Jakob, der uns diesen Brunnen gegeben hat, und er hat daraus getrunken und seine Kinder und sein Vieh?

¿Eres tú mayor que nuestro padre Jacob, que nos dió este pozo, del cual él bebió, y sus hijos, y sus ganados?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his children and his livestock?”

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Wer von diesem Wasser trinket, den wird wieder dursten;

Respondió Jesús y díjole: Cualquiera que bebiere de esta agua, volverá á tener sed;

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,

wer aber von dem Wasser trinken wird, das ich ihm gebe, den wird ewiglich nicht dursten, sondern das Wasser, das ich ihm geben werde, das wird in ihm ein Brunn des Wassers werden, das in das ewige Leben quillet.

Mas el que bebiere del agua que yo le daré, para siempre no tendrá sed: mas el agua que yo le daré, será en él una fuente de agua que salte para vida eterna.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

Spricht das Weib zu ihm: Herr, gib mir dasselbige Wasser, auf daß mich nicht durste, daß ich nicht herkommen müsse zu schopfen.

La mujer le dice: Señor, dame esta agua, para que no tenga sed, ni venga acá á sacarla.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I don’t get thirsty, neither come all the way here to draw.”

Jesus spricht zu ihr: Gehe hin, rufe deinen Mann und komm her!

Jesús le dice: Ve, llama á tu marido, y ven acá.

Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”

Das Weib antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Ich habe keinen Mann. Jesus spricht zu ihr: Du hast recht gesagt: Ich habe keinen Mann.

Respondió la mujer, y dijo: No tengo marido. Dícele Jesús: Bien has dicho, No tengo marido;

The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

The woman answered, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You said well, ‘I have no husband,’

Fünf Manner hast du gehabt, und den du nun hast, der ist nicht dein Mann. Da hast du recht gesagt.

Porque cinco maridos has tenido: y el que ahora tienes no es tu marido; esto has dicho con verdad.

For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

for you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truly.”

Das Weib spricht zu ihm: Herr, ich sehe, daß du ein Prophet bist.

Dícele la mujer: Señor, paréceme que tú eres profeta.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

Unsere Vater haben auf diesem Berge angebetet, und ihr saget, zu Jerusalem sei die Statte, da man anbeten solle.

Nuestros padres adoraron en este monte, y vosotros decís que en Jerusalem es el lugar donde es necesario adorar.

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”

Jesus spricht zu ihr: Weib, glaube mir, es kommt die Zeit, da ihr weder auf diesem Berge noch zu Jerusalem werdet den Vater anbeten.

Dícele Jesús: Mujer, créeme, que la hora viene, cuando ni en este monte, ni en Jerusalem adoraréis al Padre.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.

Ihr wisset nicht, was ihr anbetet; wir wissen aber was wir anbeten; denn das Heil kommt von den Juden.

Vosotros adoráis lo que no sabéis; nosotros adoramos lo que sabemos: porque la salud viene de los Judíos.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

Aber es kommt die Zeit und ist schon jetzt, daß die wahrhaftigen Anbeter werden den Vater anbeten im Geist und in der Wahrheit; denn der Vater will auch haben, die ihn also anbeten.

Mas la hora viene, y ahora es, cuando los verdaderos adoradores adorarán al Padre en espíritu y en verdad; porque también el Padre tales adoradores busca que le adoren.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshipers.

Gott ist ein Geist, und die ihn anbeten, die müssen ihn im Geist und in der Wahrheit anbeten.

Dios es Espíritu; y los que le adoran, en espíritu y en verdad es necesario que adoren.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Spricht das Weib zu ihm: Ich weili, daü der Messias kommt, der da Christus heilit. Wenn derselbige kommen wird, so wird er's uns alles verkundigen.

Dícele la mujer: Sé que el Mesías ha de venir, el cual se dice el Cristo: cuando él viniere nos declarará todas las cosas.

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming, he who is called Christ. When he has come, he will declare to us all things.”

Jesus spricht zu ihr: Ich bin's, der mit dir redet.

Dícele Jesús: Yo soy, que hablo contigo.

Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Jesus said to her, “I am he, the one who speaks to you.”

Und fiber dem kamen seine Junger, und es nahm sie wunder, dafi er mit dem Weibe redete? Doch sprach niemand: Was fragest du? Oder: Was redest du mit ihr?

Y en esto vinieron sus discípulos, y maravilláronse de que hablaba con mujer; mas ninguno dijo: ¿Qué preguntas? ó, ¿Qué hablas con ella?

And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

Just then, his disciples came. They marveled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no one said, “What are you looking for?” or, “Why do you speak with her?”

Da lieli, das Weib ihren Krug stehen und ging hin in die Stadt und spricht zu den Leuten:

Entonces la mujer dejó su cántaro, y fué á la ciudad, y dijo á aquellos hombres:

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

So the woman left her water pot, went away into the city, and said to the people,

Kommet, sehet einen Menschen, der mir gesagt hat ailes, was ich getan habe, ob er nicht Christus sei.

Venid, ved un hombre que me ha dicho todo lo que he hecho: ¿si quizás es éste el Cristo?

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

“Come, see a man who told me everything that I have done. Can this be the Christ?”

Da gingen sie aus der Stadt und kamen zu ihm.

Entonces salieron de la ciudad, y vinieron á él.

Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

They went out of the city, and were coming to him.

Indes aber ermahneten ihn die Junger und sprachen: Rabbi, ili!

Entre tanto los discípulos le rogaban, diciendo: Rabbí, come.

In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.

In the meanwhile, the disciples urged him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich habe eine Speise zu essen, davon wisset ihr nicht.

Y él les dijo: Yo tengo una comida que comer, que vosotros no sabéis.

But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about.”

Da sprachen die Junger untereinander: Hat ihm jemand zu essen gebracht?

Entonces los discípulos decían el uno al otro: ¿Si le habrá traído alguien de comer?

Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?

The disciples therefore said to one another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?”

Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Meine Speise ist die, daß ich tue den Willen des, der mich gesandt hat, und vollende sein Werk.

Díceles Jesús: Mi comida es que haga la voluntad del que me envió, y que acabe su obra.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.

Saget ihr nicht selber: Es sind noch vier Monden, so kommt die Ernte? Siehe, ich sage euch: Hebet eure Augen auf und sehet in das Feld; denn es ist schon weili zur Ernte;

¿No decís vosotros: Aun hay cuatro meses hasta que llegue la siega? He aquí os digo: Alzad vuestros ojos, y mirad las regiones, porque ya están blancas para la siega.

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Don’t you say, ‘There are yet four months until the harvest’? Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already.

und wer da schneidet, der empfanget Lohn und sammelt Frucht zum ewigen Leben, auf daß sich miteinander freuen, der da saet und der da schneidet.

Y el que siega, recibe salario, y allega fruto para vida eterna; para que el que siembra también goce, y el que siega.

And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

He who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit to eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

Denn hier ist der Spruch wahr: Dieser saet, der andere schneidet.

Porque en esto es el dicho verdadero: Que uno es el que siembra, y otro es el que siega.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

For in this the saying is true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’

Ich habe euch gesandt zu schneiden, das ihr nicht habt gearbeitet; andere haben gearbeitet, und ihr seid in ihre Arbeit kommen.

Yo os he enviado á segar lo que vosotros no labrasteis: otros labraron, y vosotros habéis entrado en sus labores.

I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

I sent you to reap that for which you haven’t labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”

Es glaubten aber an ihn viel der Samariter aus derselbigen Stadt urn des Weibes Rede willen, welches da zeugete: Er hat mir gesagt alles, was ich getan habe.

Y muchos de los Samaritanos de aquella ciudad creyeron en él por la palabra de la mujer, que daba testimonio, diciendo: Que me dijo todo lo que he hecho.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, “He told me everything that I have done.”

Als nun die Samariter zu ihm kamen, baten sie ihn, daß er bei ihnen bliebe. Und er blieb zwei Tage da.

Viniendo pues los Samaritanos á él, rogáronle que se quedase allí: y se quedó allí dos días.

So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

So when the Samaritans came to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed there two days.

Und viel mehr glaubeten urn seines Worts willen

Y creyeron muchos más por la palabra de él.

And many more believed because of his own word;

Many more believed because of his word.

und sprachen zum Weibe: Wirglauben nun hinfort nicht urn deiner Rede willen; wir haben selber gehoret und erkannt, daß dieser ist wahrlich Christus, der Welt Heiland.

Y decían á la mujer: Ya no creemos por tu dicho; porque nosotros mismos hemos oído, y sabemos que verdaderamente éste es el Salvador del mundo, el Cristo.

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

They said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”

Aber nach zwei Tagen zog er aus von dannen und zog nach Galilaa.

Y dos días después, salió de allí, y fuése á Galilea.

Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.

After the two days he went out from there and went into Galilee.

Denn er selber, Jesus, zeugete, daß ein Prophet daheim nichts gilt.

Porque el mismo Jesús dió testimonio de que el profeta en su tierra no tiene honra.

For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.

Da ernun nach Galilaa kam, nahmen ihn die Galilaer auf, die gesehen hatten alles, was erzu Jerusalem auf dem Fest getan hatte. Denn sie waren auch zum Fest kommen.

Y como vino á Galilea, los Galileos le recibieron, vistas todas las cosas que había hecho en Jerusalem en el día de la fiesta: porque también ellos habían ido á la fiesta.

Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilæans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.

So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast.

Und Jesus kam abermal gen Kana in Galilaa, da er das Wasser hatte zu Wein gemacht.

Vino pues Jesús otra vez á Caná de Galilea, donde había hecho el vino del agua. Y había en Capernaum uno del rey, cuyo hijo estaba enfermo.

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.

Jesus came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

Und es war ein Konigischer, des Sohn lag krank zu Kapernaum. Dieser horete, daß Jesus kam aus Judaa in Galilaa, und ging hin zu ihm und bat ihn, daß er hinab kame und hülfe seinem Sohn; denn er war todkrank.

Este, como oyó que Jesús venía de Judea á Galilea, fué á él, y rogábale que descendiese, y sanase á su hijo, porque se comenzaba á morir.

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judæa into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.

When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to him and begged him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Wenn ihr nicht Zeichen und Wunder sehet, so glaubet ihr nicht.

Entonces Jesús le dijo: Si no viereis señales y milagros no creeréis.

Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

Jesus therefore said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe.”

Der Konigische sprach zu ihm: Herr, komm hinab, ehe denn mein Kind stirbt!

El del rey le dijo: Señor, desciende antes que mi hijo muera.

The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.

The nobleman said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”

Jesus spricht zu ihm: Gehe hin, dein Sohn lebet. Der Mensch glaubete dem Wort, das Jesus zu ihm sagte, und ging hin.

Dícele Jesús: Ve, tu hijo vive. Y el hombre creyó á la palabra que Jesús le dijo, y se fué.

Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.

Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your son lives.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

Und indem er hinabging, begegneten ihm seine Knechte, verkundigten ihm und sprachen: Dein Kind lebet.

Y cuando ya él descendía, los siervos le salieron á recibir, y le dieron nuevas, diciendo: Tu hijo vive.

And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.

As he was going down, his servants met him and reported, saying “Your child lives!”

Da forschete er von ihnen die Stunde, in welcher es besser mit ihm worden war. Und sie sprachen zu ihm: Gestern um die siebente Stunde verließ, ihn das Fieber.

Entonces él les preguntó á qué hora comenzó á estar mejor. Y dijéronle: Ayer á las siete le dejó la fiebre.

Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.

So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour, the fever left him.”

Da merkte der Vater, daß es um die Stunde ware, in welcher Jesus zu ihm gesagt hatte: Dein Sohn lebet. Und erglaubete mitseinem ganzen Hause.

El padre entonces entendió, que aquella hora era cuando Jesús le dijo: Tu hijo vive; y creyó él y toda su casa.

So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.

So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” He believed, as did his whole house.

Das ist nun das andere Zeichen, das Jesus tat, da eraus Judaa nach Galilaa kam.

Esta segunda señal volvió Jesús á hacer, cuando vino de Judea á Galilea.

This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judæa into Galilee.

This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
