Da nun der Herr erkannte, daß die Pharisäer gehört hatten, daß Jesus mehr Jünger mache und taufe, denn Johannes -

DE manera que como Jesús entendió que los Fariseos habían oído que Jesús hacía y bautizaba más discípulos que Juan,

When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

Obwohl Jesus Selber nicht taufte, sondern Seine Jünger -

(Aunque Jesús no bautizaba, sino sus discípulos),

(Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

Verließ Er Judäa und ging wieder hin nach Galiläa.

Dejó á Judea, y fuése otra vez á Galilea.

He left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee.

Er mußte aber durch Samarien durchziehen.

Y era menester que pasase por Samaria.

And he must needs go through Samaria.

Er kam nun in eine Stadt von Samarien, genannt Sychar, nahe bei dem Grundstück, das Jakob seinem Sohne Joseph gegeben hatte.

Vino, pues, á una ciudad de Samaria que se llamaba Sichâr, junto á la heredad que Jacob dió á José su hijo.

Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

So he came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

Es war aber daselbst Jakobs Quelle. Jesus nun, also müde von der Reise, setzte Sich an die Quelle. Es war um die sechste Stunde.

Y estaba allí la fuente de Jacob. Pues Jesús, cansado del camino, así se sentó á la fuente. Era como la hora de sexta.

Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

Da kommt ein Weib aus Samaria, Wasser zu schöpfen. Jesus spricht zu ihr: Gib Mir zu trinken;

Vino una mujer de Samaria á sacar agua: y Jesús le dice: Dame de beber.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”

Denn Seine Jünger waren in die Stadt weggegangen, um Nahrung zu kaufen.

(Porque sus discípulos habían ido á la ciudad á comprar de comer.)

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.

Spricht nun das samaritische Weib zu Ihm: Wie bittest Du, Der Du ein Jude bist, von mir, die ich ein samaritisch Weib bin, zu trinken? Denn die Juden haben keinen Verkehr mit den Samaritern.

Y la mujer Samaritana le dice: ¿Cómo tú, siendo Judío, me pides á mí de beber, que soy mujer Samaritana? porque los Judíos no se tratan con los Samaritanos.

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, “How is it that you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Wenn du wüßtest die Gabe Gottes, und wer Der ist, Der zu dir sagt: Gib Mir zu trinken - du hättest Ihn gebeten, und Er hätte dir lebendiges Wasser gegeben.

Respondió Jesús y díjole: Si conocieses el don de Dios, y quién es el que te dice: Dame de beber: tú pedirías de él, y él te daría agua viva.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

Sagt das Weib zu Ihm: Herr, Du hast nichts zum Schöpfen, und der Brunnen ist tief. Woher hast Du dann das lebendige Wasser?

La mujer le dice: Señor, no tienes con qué sacarla, y el pozo es hondo: ¿de dónde, pues, tienes el agua viva?

The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. So where do you get that living water?

Bist du größer denn unser Vater Jakob, der uns den Brunnen gab, und selbst daraus trank, er und seine Söhne und sein Vieh?

¿Eres tú mayor que nuestro padre Jacob, que nos dió este pozo, del cual él bebió, y sus hijos, y sus ganados?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his children and his livestock?”

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Jeden, der von diesem Wasser trinkt, wird wieder dürsten.

Respondió Jesús y díjole: Cualquiera que bebiere de esta agua, volverá á tener sed;

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,

Wer aber von dem Wasser trinkt, das Ich ihm geben werde, den wird nicht dürsten in Ewigkeit; sondern das Wasser, das Ich ihm geben werde, wird in ihm eine Quelle Wassers werden, das ins ewige Leben quillt.

Mas el que bebiere del agua que yo le daré, para siempre no tendrá sed: mas el agua que yo le daré, será en él una fuente de agua que salte para vida eterna.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

Spricht zu Ihm das Weib: Herr, gib mir dieses Wasser, auf daß mich nicht dürste, und ich nicht hierher kommen müsse zu schöpfen.

La mujer le dice: Señor, dame esta agua, para que no tenga sed, ni venga acá á sacarla.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I don’t get thirsty, neither come all the way here to draw.”

Spricht zu ihr Jesus: Gehe hin, rufe deinen Mann und komme her!

Jesús le dice: Ve, llama á tu marido, y ven acá.

Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”

Das Weib antwortete und sprach: Ich habe keinen Mann. Spricht Jesus zu ihr: Du hast gut gesagt: Ich habe keinen Mann.

Respondió la mujer, y dijo: No tengo marido. Dícele Jesús: Bien has dicho, No tengo marido;

The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

The woman answered, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You said well, ‘I have no husband,’

Denn fünf Männer hast du gehabt; und der, den du jetzt hast, ist nicht dein Mann. Das hast du wahr gesagt.

Porque cinco maridos has tenido: y el que ahora tienes no es tu marido; esto has dicho con verdad.

For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

for you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truly.”

Spricht das Weib zu Ihm: Herr, ich schaue, daß Du ein Prophet bist.

Dícele la mujer: Señor, paréceme que tú eres profeta.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

Unsere Väter haben auf diesem Berge angebetet; und ihr sagt, Jerusalem sei der Ort, da man anbeten müsse.

Nuestros padres adoraron en este monte, y vosotros decís que en Jerusalem es el lugar donde es necesario adorar.

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”

Spricht Jesus zu ihr: Weib, glaube Mir, es kommt eine Stunde, da ihr weder auf diesem Berge, noch in Jerusalem den Vater anbeten werdet.

Dícele Jesús: Mujer, créeme, que la hora viene, cuando ni en este monte, ni en Jerusalem adoraréis al Padre.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.

Ihr betet an, was ihr nicht wisset, wir beten an, was wir wissen; denn das Heil ist aus den Juden.

Vosotros adoráis lo que no sabéis; nosotros adoramos lo que sabemos: porque la salud viene de los Judíos.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

Aber es kommt die Stunde und ist jetzt, daß die wahren Anbeter den Vater im Geist und in der Wahrheit anbeten werden; denn auch der Vater sucht solche, die Ihn also anbeten.

Mas la hora viene, y ahora es, cuando los verdaderos adoradores adorarán al Padre en espíritu y en verdad; porque también el Padre tales adoradores busca que le adoren.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshipers.

Gott ist ein Geist; und die Ihn anbeten, müssen Ihn im Geist und in der Wahrheit anbeten.

Dios es Espíritu; y los que le adoran, en espíritu y en verdad es necesario que adoren.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Spricht zu Ihm das Weib: Ich weiß, daß der Messias kommt, Den man Christus nennt. Wenn Selbiger kommt, wird Er uns alles ansagen.

Dícele la mujer: Sé que el Mesías ha de venir, el cual se dice el Cristo: cuando él viniere nos declarará todas las cosas.

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming, he who is called Christ. When he has come, he will declare to us all things.”

Jesus spricht zu ihr: Ich bin es, Der mit dir redet.

Dícele Jesús: Yo soy, que hablo contigo.

Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Jesus said to her, “I am he, the one who speaks to you.”

Und über dem kamen Seine Jünger und waren verwundert, daß Er mit einem Weibe redete. Keiner jedoch sagte: Was suchst Du? ober: Warum redest Du mit ihr?

Y en esto vinieron sus discípulos, y maravilláronse de que hablaba con mujer; mas ninguno dijo: ¿Qué preguntas? ó, ¿Qué hablas con ella?

And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

Just then, his disciples came. They marveled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no one said, “What are you looking for?” or, “Why do you speak with her?”

Das Weib ließ denn ihren Wasserkrug und kam hin in die Stadt und sagte zu den Menschen:

Entonces la mujer dejó su cántaro, y fué á la ciudad, y dijo á aquellos hombres:

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

So the woman left her water pot, went away into the city, and said to the people,

Kommet, sehet einen Menschen, Der mir alles gesagt hat, was ich getan habe. Ob Dieser nicht der Christus ist?

Venid, ved un hombre que me ha dicho todo lo que he hecho: ¿si quizás es éste el Cristo?

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

“Come, see a man who told me everything that I have done. Can this be the Christ?”

Und sie gingen hinaus aus der Stadt und kamen zu Ihm.

Entonces salieron de la ciudad, y vinieron á él.

Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

They went out of the city, and were coming to him.

In der Zwischenzeit aber baten Ihn die Jünger und sprachen: Rabbi, iß!

Entre tanto los discípulos le rogaban, diciendo: Rabbí, come.

In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.

In the meanwhile, the disciples urged him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich habe eine Speise zu essen, die ihr nicht wisset.

Y él les dijo: Yo tengo una comida que comer, que vosotros no sabéis.

But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about.”

Da sprachen Seine Jünger untereinander: Hat ihm jemand zu essen gebracht?

Entonces los discípulos decían el uno al otro: ¿Si le habrá traído alguien de comer?

Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?

The disciples therefore said to one another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?”

Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Meine Speise ist, daß Ich den Willen tue Dessen, Der Mich gesandt hat, und Sein Werk vollbringe.

Díceles Jesús: Mi comida es que haga la voluntad del que me envió, y que acabe su obra.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.

Saget ihr nicht, daß es noch vier Monate sind, bis die Ernte kommt? Siehe, Ich sage euch: Hebet eure Augen auf und sehet die Äcker an, wie sie schon weiß zur Ernte sind.

¿No decís vosotros: Aun hay cuatro meses hasta que llegue la siega? He aquí os digo: Alzad vuestros ojos, y mirad las regiones, porque ya están blancas para la siega.

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Don’t you say, ‘There are yet four months until the harvest’? Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already.

Und wer da erntet, empfängt Lohn und sammelt Frucht zum ewigen Leben, auf daß sich miteinander freuen, der da säet und der da erntet.

Y el que siega, recibe salario, y allega fruto para vida eterna; para que el que siembra también goce, y el que siega.

And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

He who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit to eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

Denn hierin ist das Wort wahr: Ein anderer ist es, der sät, und ein anderer, der erntet.

Porque en esto es el dicho verdadero: Que uno es el que siembra, y otro es el que siega.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

For in this the saying is true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’

Ich habe euch gesandt, zu ernten, womit ihr euch nicht abgemüht habt. Andere haben sich abgemüht, und ihr seid in ihre Arbeit eingetreten.

Yo os he enviado á segar lo que vosotros no labrasteis: otros labraron, y vosotros habéis entrado en sus labores.

I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

I sent you to reap that for which you haven’t labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”

Aus jener Stadt aber glaubten viele der Samariter an Ihn wegen des Wortes des Weibes, das da zeugte: Er hat mir alles gesagt, was ich getan habe.

Y muchos de los Samaritanos de aquella ciudad creyeron en él por la palabra de la mujer, que daba testimonio, diciendo: Que me dijo todo lo que he hecho.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, “He told me everything that I have done.”

Wie nun die Samariter zu Ihm kamen, baten sie Ihn, bei ihnen zu bleiben, und Er blieb zwei Tage daselbst.

Viniendo pues los Samaritanos á él, rogáronle que se quedase allí: y se quedó allí dos días.

So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

So when the Samaritans came to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed there two days.

Und viel mehr glaubten um Seines Wortes willen.

Y creyeron muchos más por la palabra de él.

And many more believed because of his own word;

Many more believed because of his word.

Und sagten zu dem Weibe: Wir glauben nicht mehr wegen deiner Rede; denn wir selbst haben gehört und wissen, daß Dieser wahrlich ist der Welt Heiland, Christus.

Y decían á la mujer: Ya no creemos por tu dicho; porque nosotros mismos hemos oído, y sabemos que verdaderamente éste es el Salvador del mundo, el Cristo.

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

They said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”

Aber nach zwei Tagen zog Er aus von dannen und kam hin nach Galiläa.

Y dos días después, salió de allí, y fuése á Galilea.

Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.

After the two days he went out from there and went into Galilee.

Denn Jesus Selbst zeugte, daß ein Prophet in seiner eigenen Vaterstadt keine Ehre hat.

Porque el mismo Jesús dió testimonio de que el profeta en su tierra no tiene honra.

For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.

Als Er nun nach Galiläa kam, nahmen Ihn die Galiläer auf, da sie alles gesehen hatten, was Er zu Jerusalem an dem Feste getan hatte; denn auch sie waren zum Feste gekommen.

Y como vino á Galilea, los Galileos le recibieron, vistas todas las cosas que había hecho en Jerusalem en el día de la fiesta: porque también ellos habían ido á la fiesta.

Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilæans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.

So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast.

Er kam nun wieder nach Kana in Galiläa, wo Er das Wasser zu Wein gemacht hatte; und es war daselbst ein Königlicher, dessen Sohn krank war in Kapernaum.

Vino pues Jesús otra vez á Caná de Galilea, donde había hecho el vino del agua. Y había en Capernaum uno del rey, cuyo hijo estaba enfermo.

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.

Jesus came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

Als dieser hörte, daß Jesus aus Judäa nach Galiläa gekommen sei, ging er hin zu Ihm und bat Ihn, Er möchte hinabkommen und seinen Sohn gesund machen; denn er war am Sterben.

Este, como oyó que Jesús venía de Judea á Galilea, fué á él, y rogábale que descendiese, y sanase á su hijo, porque se comenzaba á morir.

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judæa into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.

When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to him and begged him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

Da sprach Jesus zu ihm: Wenn ihr nicht Zeichen und Wunder seht, glaubt ihr nicht.

Entonces Jesús le dijo: Si no viereis señales y milagros no creeréis.

Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

Jesus therefore said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe.”

Spricht zu Ihm der Königliche: Herr, komme hinab, ehe denn mein Knäblein stirbt.

El del rey le dijo: Señor, desciende antes que mi hijo muera.

The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.

The nobleman said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”

Spricht Jesus zu ihm: Ziehe hin, dein Sohn lebt. Und der Mensch glaubte dem Worte, das Jesus zu ihm sprach, und zog hin.

Dícele Jesús: Ve, tu hijo vive. Y el hombre creyó á la palabra que Jesús le dijo, y se fué.

Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.

Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your son lives.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

Und wie er schon hinabging, kamen ihm seine Knechte entgegen und sagten ihm an und sprachen: Dein Knabe lebt.

Y cuando ya él descendía, los siervos le salieron á recibir, y le dieron nuevas, diciendo: Tu hijo vive.

And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.

As he was going down, his servants met him and reported, saying “Your child lives!”

Er erfragte nun von ihnen die Stunde, da es besser mit ihm wurde. Und sie sagten zu ihm: Gestern zur siebenten Stunde verließ ihn das Fieber.

Entonces él les preguntó á qué hora comenzó á estar mejor. Y dijéronle: Ayer á las siete le dejó la fiebre.

Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.

So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour, the fever left him.”

Da erkannte der Vater, daß es um dieselbe Stunde war, da Jesus zu ihm sprach: Dein Sohn lebt! und er glaubte und sein ganzes Haus.

El padre entonces entendió, que aquella hora era cuando Jesús le dijo: Tu hijo vive; y creyó él y toda su casa.

So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.

So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” He believed, as did his whole house.

Dies ist wiederum das zweite Zeichen, das Jesus tat, da Er aus Judäa nach Galiläa kam.

Esta segunda señal volvió Jesús á hacer, cuando vino de Judea á Galilea.

This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judæa into Galilee.

This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
